The lime in the water was nice. The staff were friendly. We didn't get sick. That was the good part. The food was boring. Everything tasted like it was out of a can or frozen. The chips were ok but the salsa tasted like tomato sauce. The chicken looked like Chicken of the Sea. Why is it popular? It must be due to people who don't eat authentic Mexican food.

Very friendly staff. Fajitas were awesome!! Green, red, and yellow bell peppers. Out door seating is always a bonus. Try this place out!

We ate here over the summer for a wedding party. The food was good and the atmosphere of the patio was very fun and welcoming. The staff was on top of making sure everyone had what they needed. I didn't get a chance to taste any alcohol because I was the DD. The food was good especially the chimichangas. There was a DJ and plenty of room for dancing on the patio! If your ever in Florence I recommend you stop at this place and enjoy some tasty food and a good time. :)

LB Cantina has recipes that are over 40 years old! Their entrees are delicious, and the servers and staff love what they do. It is a fun and friendly atmosphere, that is most definitely family-oriented. It also has a saloon that is great for drinks, or a quick get together with friends. The recent renovations, remodels and changes have really brought out the strengths in this restaurant. The cheese enchiladas are my favorite! I can't wait to try their long list of several other favorites they have to offer, too.

I have been here a few times when visiting from Calgary, AB Canada. My Canadian friend brought me to this bit of culinary heaven Southwest Mexican style. It is a short drive from San Tan Valley to Florence. Travel past the prisons where the most ironic scenario exists that I have ever seen: prison yard backing onto a parking lot and Sonic. Also, there is a shop with prisoner-made goods. Never checked it out, but could be interesting!. Old Main St.of Florence looks like it could be intriguing! Damn!! OK, now the food. The fundido is to die for - enough on a plate for 4. See pic. The rich cream cheese and seasoning is "unpossible," but there it is! The machaca is epic as well. Chimichanga, beef, which I had today was very nice but not exciting. Again it was good and made better thanks to my dining-man's (aka wingman) order of grilled jalapeños! Fajita platter is so hot that there is no chance the meal will cool! Still sizzles as juices drip from the fresh tortilla.Damn!! The complimentary chips and delicious salsa are refilled until you say STOP! Damn!! The unsweetened tea, which does not exist in Canada, that I have ever tried. A can of Brisk or Nestea is not even close. Plus it is unlimited refills! Damn!! Get out to the LB Cantina ( as it now named) and fill your middle with the aforementioned goodness! Did I say Damn?

So finally ate here last night since the switch of owners. I found it to be a much smaller menu, simple to read, and seemingly more American food offered now. I don't know why exactly, but eh (kinda similar to OP). Got chips and salsa, still taste the same and are amazing. They still leave you with garlic breath the next morning, regardless of how many times you brush. Yum! I got the two cheese enchiladas because that's what I have grown up on (I used to get other menu items, but this seemed like the safest bet considering it's a different place). They were good. A lot more cheese than they used to. The sauce was way more mild than before which I wasn't really crazy about, but just glad it wasn't the same nasty red sauce a lot of places use. The beans were super yummy and the rice was just okay. I honestly prefer the rice that L&B used. My friend got the beef mini chimis and seemed to enjoy them. My sister got a carne asada burrito and said it was kinda basic. She was upset that the t-bone steak was no longer a menu item :P My father got a patty melt and fries and seemed to like his food. Everything was pretty good. The interior was all freshly painted and looked nice and service was pretty on point. Not terrible and not stellar. Overall good experience.

We called ahead an order for 9 people, 10 mins prior to arriving. After serving drinks, our food arrived sooner than expected. It tasted wonderful, portion sizes were larger than expected and the wait staff were amazing. This restaurant has improved immensely since the last time I went.

Chips are too thick. Salsa has no flavor just kick. They need to add some garlic to it. Pollo fundito was all tortilla and barely any chicken. Spanish rice was just plain colored rice, flavorless. Table was was dirty, full of salt and debris. Expensive too. A place in QC has the same dish for $5 less and they are good! Not coming back.

Waited a few minutes for someone to greet us before the waiter mumble something about finding your own table. We went to the patio, very quaint, pleasant atmosphere. Table we sat at had some sticky spots on it that we discovered after patiently waiting for the waiter who was not very friendly. But, he had a large table and asked if we wanted to order so we didn't have to wait for the large table to be served. Chips were good to munch on but salsa had no flavor but a bit of a kick to it. Basically a thick liquid. No nice chunks of crushed tomato, peppers or onion. The food was so so. It stayed with us both for hours afterward. I was a little disappointed, use to order the chimis for lunch about a year ago and they were great. I was excited to actually be able to dine there with a friend but the experience did not live up to my memory of the food. Probably won't go back.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
