I was dissapointed! This was my first time trying Chipotle in over 2 years after I had gotten food poisoning from another location, and I just didn't feel it. The restaurant was semi dirty and they load you up on rice and beans but go way to easy on the meat. I don't see myself eating Chipotle at all from now on.

Honestly I wish I could do less than 1 star. I have been in dozens of Chipotle as I travel a lot. This is the worst I've ever been into. Two orders in front of mine were messed up and had to be redone. After ordering a salad and then waiting in line for over 15 minutes, I just gave up and left. I had my food from Panera in minutes.

My husband recently found out he can't eat gluten. We went to Chipotle today and asked if the tortillas were all prepared on the same grill because of a gluten issue. The first man smiled and hopped to it right away. He washed his hands, put on new gloves, let his other coworkers know and started switching out utensils. Holy cow! Most people grit their teeth and have to fight an eye roll when the term "gluten free" is brought up. We were definitely impressed and appreciated our treatment at this establishment. And obviously the food was amazing. Thanks, Chipotle

Food taste good, but I probably won't eat here again. The dining area is really dirty and I don't feel confident about the kitchen being clean to cook in. This place needs a thorough cleaning. Gordon Ramsey would go nuts in this place.

Food is good though I think they over load everything. I can never eat it all and the burritos are messy. If you want to cut your calories on your salad or bowl, order everything on the side. That forces them to measure out your food.

OVERRATED. Nothing against this Chipotle location, just Chipotle in general. I have eaten Chipotle twice and can say that it would not be my 1st choice nor my last choice to eat here. I don't know if its the fact that I have had a lot of hispanic food in my lifetime or if the food is truly just mediocre. Either way, you will never hear me say I want Chipotle.

Bathrooms filthy but the worst service ever...inattentive staff ignoring customers and instead talking to each other! Dirty prep area...long wait! I'm leaving

It is next to impossible to get into this location. Overall the experience was horrible. It starts with the panhandler at the The front door. Long lines, very noisy, hard to understand the helpbecause of the noise level. In the end we got the wrong food 830 something dollars were very unhappy

Ordered online here for the first time. I got a barbacoa burrito with white rice, black beans, cheese, and sour cream. I put in the comments: "easy on the sour cream". Also ordered a burrito bowl for my roommate (half chicken, half steak... I didn't know you could do that!) who also requested a side of dressing & sour cream. The site said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived right on time and the line was to the door. I went straight to the register and told the girl I had an online order. I had already paid online, she handed me the bag of food with my drink cup, and I was on my way! The order was actually correct too. The only thing that wasn't exactly right is our names were switched when they wrote on the foil, but that is easily forgiven. The food tasted great and I definitely recommend the online ordering!

WORST CHIPOTLE EVER!! The cashier is so rude, they're was no forks and she said they are getting them from the back when I was stating at them through the door After 10 minutes of waiting I asked again do you guys have some forks she said I'm sorry we're getting them from the back... Another five minutes passed I asked can I just go in there and get them I'm staring at them. She finally decided to go get them when there was nobody being helped at the cashier... Then we decide to sit outside and there was this awful noise coming from one of their speakers, I figured we could ignore it but it was getting so loud and static so my sister got up and went in there The girls stared at her and said can I help you in a rude attitude and of course my sister replied yes you can there's a really loud noise outside can you guys turn it down please.. And her response was anything else??? Are u f****ckn kidding me my food went cold waiting for the forks... Oh and we had to wait about 10 mins to get steak... This place needs help or perhaps better management!!

Slow service and a rude staff makes it the worst chipotle around. It's surprising how much different this location is from the 75th avenue and litchfield chipotle restaurants. I would recommend going to those locations over this one.

I love this location, in n out every time and they don't rip or destroy my burrito. I am always taken care of here!

I love Chipotle, I just started eating here my daughter's always was talking about it. Dining area needs to be a little bigger, they are always busy but that is a good thing. Staff is always friendly.

Been here multiple times. Had bad service, small portions and messed up orders multiple times. They forgot to put salsa in my last pickup order. Seriously? How do you forget that? Last time I go here. Lesson learned. This Chipotle sucks.

I have been going to this Chipotle for about two year now. Love Chipotle!! Most of the time to get the food to go. The quality and quantity of the food has not changed at all. Everything is fresh and delicious every time. I get my usual, burrito with chicken, black bean, rice, cheese, and a little sour cream. Add a bag a chips (whatever fall out of the burrito is scooped up by the chips. YUM! We just went tonight.

If I could give it negative stars I would. Manager (woman) was horrible and customer service all around was horrible. I usually love chipotle but this one was really disappointing. I would try a different one.

For some reason, this location wasn't as good as the ones in CA, I don't know but I only ate here once and the Steak and the Carnitas wasn't as spicy as they serve them in El Segundo. Probably just the cook for that day. Overall, it's off the 10 fwy on your way to Phoenix, so good that I was able to find it quickly for a quick bite!

If you do not like Chipotle, you have some issues. Cheap, fresh and ethical! lol It is amazing, what else can I say. They can have an off day here and there, but that only shows that it is made fresh and not from a package. Even on a bad day, it is still good. I love you Chipotle!!! om nom nom nom

If you haven't tried this place you had to try it at least once. They have the best ingredients for all their food and some healthy options as well. I love to get the chicken bowl because their burritos are too big and messy. I'd never had a problem with this place and they always give great customer service.

I first tried a Chipotle a few years ago. I wasn't a fan at all. So... I figured we should give it another try and this time around it wasn't bad. It's pretty decent fast food... nothing really special about the place but people seem to love it. My one very large complaint about the place. If you are not a fan of cilantro... then your choices become very limited on what you can add to your burritos or plates. Cilantro and lime rice Pico de Gallo(which is to be expected) Corn and cilantro... That leaves you with sour cream... cheese...and lettuce to add as your toppings. I'm not a fan of cilantro... so the menu really shrank. All in all.... not bad... better than Taco Bell for sure... Hatch

Been coming to here about once a month for the past five years, great food for a reasonable price.my only complaint is that every once in a blue moon a new employee ruins my burrito by not rolling it properly.

love, love, love this place. I crave their food! I've a vegetarian and love the fact that I can get wholesome food made to order. And I love the fact that they serve "thoughtful" food.

Cipotle is a good Mexican food chain. I love that you walk into one & it's the same quality tastey food no matter where you are. Gotta love the consistancy. What I don't love at this W McDowell location is the lack of speed in the service. I know it's not McDonalds but I've attempted to come here more times then I've actually gotten to eat at this location. If there's more then one group/fam ahead of you forget about it. You're in for at least a 10 minute up to 15 minute wait in line. There is ABSOLUTELY N-O NO sense of urgency at this place what so ever. The staff is very nice & helpful but they act like they have no where to go & you're the only person in the establishment when they're serving you. Which is nice enough but if you're coming here you're hoping for a casual dining experience & to be in & out in 30 including eating. I'm not sure how to fix it but seriously this is ridiculous.

Need a giant, delicious, perfect burrito that will provide caloric intake for the whole day? Go to Chipotle, 'nough said.

I went here two nights ago with my boyfriend for a quick dinner. Forgetting it was Saturday, I stupidly didn't realize the place would be packed inside the already tight dining area. It worked out though because it was just nice enough outside that we decided to eat out there. Again, I got the girl who knew exactly how much I meant by, "A lot of the hot sauce, please." It was a perfect meatless burrito. I loved it. In fact, the only thing I really didn't like about this place was the homeless guy out front asking people for change. I understand that this may happen sometimes, but out of the 6 or 7 times we've come here, about 3 or 4 times have included homeless people begging out front. Its just strange since this seems to be a fairly nice area. I'd have thought Chipotle or Rumbi nextdoor, would have asked these people to move already. It just makes me feel guilty for going and getting a giant burrito (on debit, which is why I never give anything to people outside asking for change) and they're outside begging.

I am an AVID chipotle lover and this one is one of my favorites. The food is always cooked to perfection, the staff is fast, friendly and clean. I have gone into a couple of chipotles where I felt like they don't clean their station and the food is all mixed together. This is not one of them. I have never had a bad experience with this chipotle and we are there at least once a week. Awesome job! You know what you are doing!

I like that this one does load up on the food because the one at west gate skimps on all the food and I feel ripped off. When I got to the cashier I asked if they had military discount and he said no I'm sorry but thank you for your service. Then at the end of my transaction he put a cup and chips in my bag and said "drinks and chips on me because I really appreciate what you do." I just thought that is awesome customer service. I didn't expect it and was very thankful!

  • Crystal T.

Yeah, they load up your burrito but they load it up in rice and beans then proceed to skimp out on the meat. Don't bother asking for an little more because all they will do is literally add one piece of meat and then threaten to charge double for meat after that. Yes it is good but not worth $7 dollars good. They even hesitate to add more salsa in your burrito. So basically you are left with a bean and rice burrito with meat on the side instead of a meat burrito with rice and beans. Hate restaurants that skimp out on food you payed for. Will not return to chipotles again

Slowest chipotle I have ever been to. They can't figure out how to incorporate online orders into the line and struggle when the place is full. Avoid if you're in a rush.

Love Chipotle, they have delicious guacamole, too bad they charge extra. Never have had a bad experience there. Chicken burritos are my go to. Friendly staff and good food.

I've tried visiting here a couple times and the staff here need to be re-evaluated and possibly replaced. Every time I go in, I get the exact opposite of the attitude I expect from Chipotle employees. They're loud, obnoxious, unfriendly to customers and constantly yelling at each other across the line and in front of customers. And when I say yelling, I don't mean requesting chips and guac. I mean getting into arguments about why they don't want to do their job or work at whatever position in the line. It's off-putting just to walk in here, and it only gets worse when you actually start eating their food - by far the worst I've had from any location in AZ. They also skimp out on rations. I haven't gone back here in months. I prefer literally any other location in the Valley to this one.

First observation, it is always SO loud in this place. Secind, the lines seem to move at a snails pace. Third, the tables outside apparently never get wiped and all are rickety. The staff that has been in place here for awhile is always nice and helpful. Most of the staff is great and the food is as expected. They really need to have someone fix those tables outside and clean a little more often. Nobody likes sitting at a dirty table. Just sayin...

My burrito consisted of rice and beans with about 4 small chunks of chicken. What a rip-off Chipotle is. Never again.

It wasn't good this time. BOOOOOO! Anyways, boyfriend went to get me a chicken bowl while I stayed in the car because little man was asleep. When we got home, I opened up my chicken bowl. First thing I notice.. Um where the heck is my lettuce? I know it's nothing but still. Chipotle can be pricey! Anyways, while I was eating it. Ummm I found one uncooked chicken. Like come on guys that shouldn't even happen at all. I was just so disappointed in them. Usually there good but lately they been slacking. Next time I'll try a different location, because they been slacking for reals!

I went to Chipotle this past Saturday 11/15/14. I ordered the bowl with brown rice, black beans and steak. The steak was as tough as leather and my teeth couldn't break it down. The steak was also bland in taste and overall my food was warm, not hot. I did not have a good food experience at this Chipotle and I will not be back.

  • Melissa V.

This is by far my least favorite Chipotle. You will wait in line for 15-20 minutes, and portions are skimpy...even veggies. The food quality isn't bad it's just super slow. No in and out here. The 16th Street and Camelback location gets just as slammed but the service is much better and faster. I dread going to this location and only go when I can't stop at Colonnade or 7th & McDowell location.

  • Christopher G.

IF YOU LOVE CHIPOTLE LIKE I DO, DONT EAT AT THIS LOCATION. By far the worst chipotle location that I've ever visited. I ordered 3 Barbacoa tacos and the guy put a TINY bit of meat, when I asked for more he said "oh you want double meat?" No! I don't want double meat, I want enough meat to call it a damn taco. I asked for corn salsa, sour cream and cheese and I got sour cream and guacamole. Now, I'm not complaining about the guac but I guess the cheese and corn salsa weren't important. The "double meat" sucked too. It didn't taste like other chipotle locations. The best part was the man scratching his crotch in the kitchen and then coming to "supervise" the good line.

So they're pretty friendly at this location.. They just rush you I'm sorry I don't have the menu memorized and sometimes I like to try new mixes. I asked the girl closing my bowl if the bowls got smaller she laughed and said not really. Then everyone in the prep line said no ma'am our bowls are the same size (like they're coached to say this ) I could barely see the rice and they drizzled on the sour cream. It was at That moment I wouldn't dare ask to add my avocado in fear they'd charge me a dollar for a corner spoon. Ps the rice was hard

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
