Wow what a sleeper. Doesn't look like much from the outside. But once you order you will get a delicious affordable huge portion meal that actually has a ton of flavor not just salt like most of the Chinese food restaurants in the area...:cough: Mr Chengs.. Ridiculously awesome. Will be back to this sleeper. Straight across from Shotgun Dan's.

I am not a huge fan of buffets, but I like this one. The location is off of Kiehl Ave and off the main strip so you have to be looking for it if you are not familiar with the location. The booths are plentiful and the food is hot n ready. The buffet is stocked with all of the familiar and few few not so familiar Chinese favorites. My favorite is the sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, fried rice, egg rolls, and crab rangoons. I usually order my food to go, and I was quite impressed with the huge portions given for their take out. My lunch with drink was around $8...very reasonable for the amount of food I think.

The place serve the same crap any other Chinese buffet serves but in a non buffet manner. Its mechanically separated, low quality meat, covered in generic sugary sauce. This place serves meat that is of such poor quality that a label is not placed on it but is still somehow labeled for human consumption through lax FDA regulations. I bit in to piece of chicken that was black on the inside. WTF? The fried rice was terrible. The egg drop soup was chunky; way too much corn starch and it looked like it had a gross amount of food coloring added to it. We asked for cream cheese and crab wontons and we were given fried dough(no cream cheese, no crab). The reason this place exists is because of the typical Arkansan standards: fry it, slother it in shitty sauce, and presto, you have a 5 star restaurant. Avoid this place, it sucks. It is no different than any other crappy Chinese buffet. Huge fail supported by standards from people who know nothing about how food is suppose to taste. Its a Chinese buffet. Shitty food, low prices, crappy service. Anything over 3 stars is an insult to descent food.

Fast and cheap. The hot and sour soup was more on the sour side which wasn't bad but very different than what I'm used too. The general tso chicken was very good too! The restaurant looks run down on the outside but don't let that fool you because the inside is pretty nice and the family that owns and works it is also very nice and very generous with their potions.

Its fast and cheap but thats the only good. the menu is limited but you can drive through. the vegetables usually taste raw and uncooked. the sauces are pretty good but the serving sizes are not impressive.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
