Very disappointed in the service and quality! I walked in to pick a to go order 5 mins past the time that was quoted to me when I placed the order. After waiting 10 mins just to be acknowledge I was passed around to 3 different people to ask for my order. Once I spoke with the correct hostess she told me it would be another 10 mins until my order was ready!? She offered no drink or type of value added service for the additional wait time. I ordered one small mushroom pizza and one small pepperoni and 5 wings the total was OVER $40!!? I couldn't believe it! When I asked to see the receipt the hostess said she could not pull up the transaction since it was complete. Sounds to me like someone is stealing from customers! When I finally tasted the pizza it was nothing more than mediocre! I would rather take my chances with a Lil Caesars $5 Hot n Ready that way at least when I feel that disappointment I know I didn't waste my money! Stay away from Mellow Mushroom! Horrible service price gougers and flavorless pizza!

Just came in to eat dinner and walked in at 8:15pm. I've never been to either location, so we decided to give it a shot. The place closes at 10pm. After a couple minutes the host that sat us grabbed a drink order, stating that our server was busy at the moment. At 8:28pm, no one else had come by our table. We waited until 8:35pm, allowing a full 20 minutes from the time we sat down and still nothing. Several servers walked past our table, but no one even glanced our direction. We threw down a $5 for our sweet teas, and headed across the way to Maddios. All in all, truly a disappointing experience.

Best game in town!! Have only had delivery, but great every time. Many unique combinations on the menu. We've tried several and they have all been great. Love the crust. Looks like whole wheat maybe? Perfect whatever it is. Have also enjoyed the onion soup and a couple of their salads. No complaints about anything. Hoping to try Dine-in.soon. Nice patio area.

Pizza is overpriced, bland pies. Too many kids running the place. Terrible service. Won't be back

I am very disappointed. The salad had brown lettuce in it and the pizza was probably the worst I've ever had.

I have been to mellow mushroom in other Places but this place was the worst of all. The service was slow and food was undercooked. My calzone still had raw dough in the edges. The jerk chicken sandwich was ok but the vegetarian sandwich was surprisingly good. Not planning to go there again.

I really enjoy the electic environment and creative menu options. The pizza is yummy but don't look at the calories. I would not recommend this place for anyone who wants to stick to a diet. While there are some options i.e. salads, gluten free, etc. the best food is the stuff that is not terrific for you. I've gone on trivia night which was fun for a small group of us. In general service could be more efficient but it's OK for something different than your usual pizza place.

The atmosphere is fun and the food is decent, not the best I've had but it's not bad either. I ordered a Caesar salad and a cheese calzone and the calzone was very good, I highly recommend! The service on the other hand is S-L-O-W-E-R than dirt. Maybe it was just our server but good grief, I think my hair grew 2 inches during my visit! If you have time on your side, give this place a try. ;)

Wife and I are currently on a special diet and came in because we saw that they offer gluten free pizza. I don't think either of us were expecting too much but we were craving pizza.. It was so good that we ordered a 2nd one. The first was 'The House Special' and the second was 'Meat Lovers'. Both were killer. The gluten free crust is really good! Our server Seth took good care of us. The manager came over to check up on us twice. Good pizza and great service. Coming back for sure.

The service is the worst. 10 minutes w/o a drink. Wrong food brought to me. Then only half my order. Do not recommend.

Northwest Arkansas has quite a few pizza places that aren't Domino's or the Hut. There's Eureka and Jim's Razorback to name two that are both pretty decent. Bariola's (formerly Guido's) has some good pie as well. But they are all shamed into the corner by Mellow Mushroom. Light and flaky crust with a choose-your-own-toppings list that rocks. For their lunch special, you get to pick two on a small pizza which comes with a salad (caesar or house). I went with fresh garlic and roasted red peppers and when the pizza arrived, it was excellent. Nice and hot, sliced into quarters. With the salad (that had a whole lot of sliced parmesan, not the crumbled stuff), it was a great meal. Really good service as well! The hostess had the lobby well organized and the waitress (Sara?) took fab care of us. Under $10 for lunch is a good deal. Amazing beer menu of about 30 different draft and and another 30 bottled choices - domestic and imports. Avery Ellie's Brown Ale? Breckenridge Vanilla Porter? And a list of 7 or 8 different blended - Guiness and something else all sounded great, but probably not a lunch option for most. No wi-fi. The signal from the hotel can be reached, but it requires a login. I will return!

Service was great for our large party of 12. Food was good but the pizza crust was nowhere near as good as the MM in Enterprise, AL. I think it may be the difference in the water used to make it. Fun place though.

We ate here for lunch on Sunday. It was our first time. Our server David did and excellent job. He was very attentive. When my wife complained about the cold the manager came over and offered to move us to a warmer table. The pizza was very good and we will be back. We would recommend Mellow Mushroom Pizza.

Yummy pizza. We have learned to order the to go with extra cheese. We always take a pizza home when ding in because it is so wonderful and we always order to much. The guys like the beer tasting options.

Place was highly recommended sadly the front of the house was lost. Waited 10 to 15 minutes to be seated was told twice they would be right with us as other guests were seated before us. Bummer for sure we ended up walking out.

Ordered a BBQ chicken pizza for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The dough was think and chewy and the BBQ sauce tasted great. The large pizza was over $25, which is a bit steep. 30 minutes for a walk in take out order, not bad, and very friendly staff at front, holding doors and taking orders. Would come back and give table service a try.

We were a little hesitant to go here because of all the tough reviews, but we went anyway because pizza places with vegan options are few and far between. We walked in at 6:20 on a Saturday night and were seated immediately at a two top in the bar. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and was very clean. Meredith was there immediately to take our drink order and told us about their new draft/craft brew options. Drinks arrived quickly as did our hummus and pita appetizer. Getting a vegan pizza was not a problem and it arrived in a reasonable time frame. Pizza's were well prepared, and pretty tasty.

Had to wait at least 1.5 hours for our pizza!! Pizza had minimal toppings and was only warm!! Service was terrible!! Would NOT ever recommend this location!! Salads were good and the ticket and a box were the only things I would recommend!!

Your average spot for average stuff. Cheeky accoutrements and nice staff. If you're traveling and looking for a low key spot for quality food, you can't go wrong here.

Well I've had better pizza but their meat lovers did not disappoint. My waiter gets props for keeping the two year old with us entertained and keeping his attention. We ordered the spin dip and the little toasts that came with were yummy! I loves the hot melty cheesy foods! The pizza was perfect! Right amount of meats and cheese! The crust was dusted with Parmesan I think. I loved it but I was stuffed to the max when I left. Music was a little loud but nothing that couldn't be talked over a bit. More hipsery in my opinion but hey I liked it so I will come back if I'm in the area lol.

We've eaten many times. The food is always pretty good...no real complaints there. The only thing that really ever keeps us from going there is the noise level in that place. I don't know if it's the acoustics or what...but if you're wanting to visit with the other people at your table you better get ready to have to shout. Our server this weekend was very young and pretty inexperienced...I knew that water glass was going to land in our laps and sure enough it did. The manager did take the appetizer off our bill however...that didn't dry out my pants any quicker. But all in all...it's a decent pizza joint...period.

Had a group of 4 at lunch and this had to have been the worst service I have experienced. We sat down at 12:15 and at 12:45 got our appetizer. No refills on drinks and then when my hoagie got there I renamed it foagie as it had one slice of ham on it. Just pathetic.

Was my first visit today...my airline peeps think it's a great place to go when overnighting in the area. I was impressed! Our server was great...very nice and very attentive!! I had the mushroom soup which was delish. Two of my colleagues had pizzas which were great except they weren't cooked all the way...a little cold in the middle... but still good. One of them asked our server if she wouldn't mind taking his and tossing it back in the oven for a few. which she did quickly. Everything was great until the manager popped over and insisted my colleague get a complete new pie. It was not necessary as the one he had was fine...just a little cold. The manager was making way too big of a deal over it, but whatever. When our server came back with his pie we could tell that she was upset. I asked her if she was ok and she said yes... but the look on her face said no. We can only surmise that the manager blamed her for the cooking of the pies which didnt sit well with my group. So the food and our server were great...the manager a bit too much for my taste.

Terrible service and unhappy staff. I thought I would try one more time and they are consistent, poor service!!! Is it normal to wait over an hour when you phone in for a pizza? No apology on anything either....

Huge assortment of beer. 20+ draft beer and probably 100 choices. Pizza has quality ingredients. Good flavor. Took a long time and slightly overlooked. I'd go back. .

Excellent beer selection with over 20 taps! I would go back for just the beer selection since it's one of the few places in this area with a variety of taps. For instance, I started with the New Belgium Ranger IPA and the bartender suggested their seasonal Avery Maharaja (imperial IPA) which was out of this world. You won't see that kind of selection anywhere in this area. We sat at the bar and had attentive service. We tried the meatball appetizer which was flavorful and had lots of red sauce. Pizza had abundant toppings. We had the House Special pizza with all the meats and vegetables, very tasty. It's a cool casual place to sit around, have a drink & good food, and watch a game or chat. Nice added touch with the various connectors at the bar where you can charge your phone. We will definitely be back!

This was my second visit to Mellow Mushroom with the first visit being pleasant enough though with a few hiccups (toppings from missing to skimpy). On the first visit, I was vegan, since then, gluten-free has been added to my party-down dietary preferences. Seriously, I've had no trouble finding delicious options around the country that satisfy both and Mellow Mushroom's gluten-free and vegan options are clearly designed to position it as a contender. If only. My non-vegan Father's Day guests ordered a regular pizza - red sauce, toppings, cheese, etc. It came out luke-warm-to-cool, with the cheese congealed on the top. Since my guests didn't complain, I wasn't going to make a big deal about it or the absolutely AWFUL gluten-free crust (nice texture but tasted like wet sawdust - horrible), cold and skimpy daiya cheese and miserly toppings that greeted my friend and me on the other side of the table. There must have been three kalamata olives on the thing, broken into pieces. Borderline inedible. The service was incredibly slow at first - the pizzas took forever to come out - but the server was super nice and attentive from that point on. Ditto previous posts regarding noise levels. Mellow Mushroom, if you're going to tout alternatives, then execute them well.

You can never go wrong with what pizza you get. Great atmosphere and good service. Try the pretzels and the caesar side salad!

WORST SERVICE EVER. Went there last night for an event that was being held outside and figured I would go in for pizza and a few drinks before hand. Waited at bar for about 15 minutes totally ignored by the bartender. Wait staff was extremely slow. The pizza was good, not great.

If you call this NY style pizza, you have no idea what you are talking about. The crust is oddly sweet, more suitable to dessert, and the pizza takes a really long time to cook, which I don't get.

Holy shiitake this place was bad. The server was sweet and genuinely seemed to be trying her best, but the food...good grief...the food was pitiful. My dining companions ordered the buffalo chicken pizza with NO onions. I ordered the teriyaki tofu with NO mayo and Daiya vegan cheese. When the order finally arrived, the pizza was covered with onions, and the sandwich was slathered with mayo and no Daiya. Fearing it would take half the night to get another pizza, my companions opted to pick off the onions. I, however, really like to get what I order. There was no way in he** I was going to eat that mayo, so I sent it back. By the time my companions made it to the end of their pizza, the manager finally brought my sandwich, and I kid you not, it was the most pitiful excuse for a sandwich I've ever seen. I've ordered this same thing at this and several other MM locations on many occasions and NEVER have I been served such a paltry excuse for a sandwich. I wish I had thought to take a picture of it. It really was THAT bad. Considering it had to be sent back, it seems to me they would have tried a little harder to make up for the screw up. The manager did offer to comp it, but honestly, why bother if you're going to present an already dissatisfied customer with a sandwich like that? It just pisses people off...as does paying $20 for a pizza and then having to pick off the items you asked them to leave off in the first place.

I really like the pizza and salads at this new place, but boy is the service mellow!! More like slow, actually. If you come for dinner, be prepared to wait about 30 minutes or more for your pizza! They have a good variety of beers on draught, and a really great selection of pizzas. I also enjoy starting with a salad such as the field greens small salad, with their herb vinaigrette. The prices are a little high, but you will be satisfied with the quality of the food if you don't mind waiting for it! They have a good lunch combo too - personal pizza, salad and drink for $7.

All of the previous reviews are more-or-less spot-on, so I can't add much in terms of new content... Yes, it's loud inside. But, it's a huge, open area with concrete floors and a lot of concrete and steel on the walls and ceilings. And, the place seats about 200 people and this isn't exactly a library or quiet coffee shop. Yes, it's a chain. I'm not a fan of chain restaurants - I actively avoid them. But, MM corporate allows each site to do something unique, and I sort of like that. Yes, they have a good beer selection; always opt for a seasonal if it's available from a brewery (trust me). You can get the other swill any time, so take advantage of the seasons. Had a few oktoberfest beers and loved them all. Yes, the service is dreadfully "mellow" - but I don't blame the kitchen. A pizza takes a while to cook, unless it's run through a conveyor belt oven... which thankfully isn't the case at the MM. So, I'll let the kitchen do their job and I'll let the pizza ovens take their sweet time cooking my pie - the end result is better. However, the servers, while friendly, didn't appear to be on their A-games when we were there. Things were forgotten, drinks sat empty for a long time, appetizers showed-up about 2-seconds before the meal... basic things that frustrate the experience. And now for the pizza. MM features a chewy, bubbly, garlic-butter-dressed crust. The texture almost resembles a chewy artisian bread crust... You'll definitely chew through it, especially around the edges. Personally, I don't mind this type of crust, and if the mood is right, I actually love it. It's not a crunchy, cracker-like crust like you'll find at Guido's (or whatever it's called these days), nor is it a thick, doughy crust like you'll find in a Gusano's deep dish. And, unlike Eureka, Mazzio's, Papa Johns, or Pizza Hut, this crust has flavor, so it's A-OK in my book. The toppings are PLENTIFUL - nay - BOUNTIFUL and abundant. We went with the house special and to say it was "loaded" with toppings would be a gross understatement. Everything was extremely tasty - the veggies were slightly crisp, the meats were delicious. Great toppings. The sauce was slightly sweet, which is fine by me. All-in-all, everything worked to deliver a solid pizza. It's not comparable to the chain pizzas; to do so would be like comparing a custom-built West Coast Chopper to a Honda Spree... Our appetizer (the pretzels) arrived with our pizza; they were dense, chewy, and quite good. But, I wish our server would've timed things a bit better... Oh well. Total bill for four with drinks and appetizer was under $50. Mellow Mushroom = WIN Food = 3.5 stars Service = 2 stars Value = 3 stars MISC = 3 stars (a bit too chain-like for me) Summary: Pizza isn't pizza. All pizza is different, and the MM is no exception. If you like a chewy crust and you like a ton of fresh ingredients all covered in quality cheese, you'll like the MM. If you like cardboard crusts, greasy toppings, canned veggies, and a low price point, look elsewhere. Now if they'd only improve the service... but that's a larger problem with most of the restaurants in/around "restaurant row" in Rogers.

I have eaten at other locations and this place did not disappoint. The pizzas have a phenomenal crust dusted with fresh parmasean cheese. The Philosphers pie is one of my favorites and full of flavor (portebella mushrooms, beef, olives, artichoke hearts) and the classic pep and sausage takes you back to the way pizzas were made prior to the processed of boiling the meat. I enjoy the place very much and would highly recommend. Try the boulevard pale ale too :-)

May I first say, thank you, to those of you that posted a review about the horrible service!!!! Should have taken that advice!!! They are slow to seat you, bring you beers ( never ask if you want another), and most of all they have a snippy attitude. We were a table of 3. Our waitress got fussy with us because one person went to the bar and purchased a drink from the bar. She got into an altercation with the bartender and had words with him. So we get served and dine. We ask her for separate checks. She splits the check 3 ways down the middle which does not account for each individual bill. The pie 3 ways and each persons drinks separate. So she attempts correct, only to come back with new bills that include an extra beer beverage than was not ordered or consumed. When we brought that to her attention she got fussy again. Stated that it would have been cheaper if we paid like she had our bills before because of tax??!!! We had all paid so we ask to get the beer beverage monies back. The waitress asks us to figure out how much she owes us. We tell her and she tosses the money on the table back at us, as if we were some second class citizens!!! Ok I can understand getting this mixed up and trying to correct, but if you can't add and can't try and help your customers, then you should not be working in this industry. Now that said, where is the management around this place!!!!!!!!!!! Now the food was acceptable if you can tolerate this kind of service. Good luck!

If it weren't for the beer, this pile of junk would get one star.... Horrible service. Waited more that 35 minutes for a slice on a Tuesday during lunch. I must say, I've been to some pretty crappy places in my life, but this Mellow location might take the cake. There wasn't a soul in the place and the staff seemed inconvenienced that I was there. Good luck MM of Rogers.....you won't be seeing me anytime soon.

I've visited a number of times since it opened. Being a new restaurant in the area, they're going to be swamped during peak times for awhile. It's a casual restaurant and part of a chain of some 120 other locations. They have a creative list of pizzas & calzones with the option of ordering custom toppings. There is also a good selection of sandwiches, salads and appetizers. They also have around 30 beers on tap and about that many more in bottles along with a full bar. The food quality has been consistent and is great for a casual restaurant. We're not talking 5-star fru-fru French dining here. It's definitely one of my favorites in the area.

What's all the hub-bub? Parking for this location is horrendous. Since it's new, I expected it to be busy on a Friday night. The food pricing is OK and the service is just OK, but the pizza is really nothing special. I much prefer Bariola's (formerly Guido's) in Rogers by far. At the Mellow Mushroom, the acoustics make the place extremely loud. And, they had the music turned up to the point where you couldn't hear yourself think. I do like the Fayetteville location much better than this one. It's nothing special. Pros=drink enough beer and they'll give you a free mug! Cons=parking, lots of crust on these pizzas, LOUD

Long wait. Poor crust (soggy). Better off going to pizza hut. Over rated! For the price, if I could I would give it a -1. To put it simply, wouldn't recommend

Gave it three stars because I like the atmosphere. Pizza is average. Yes they have lots of choices, perhaps too many. Shitaki pizza was good, but none of the ones we ordered arrived to the table hot.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country.
