I am a frequent customer at this restaurant. The food is good and the price and service are even better! If you like Chinese food and are lookng for a great value, this is the place. The average meal price is $6.00 and the amount of food you get per plate is amazing! I normally have enough left over to make a second meal. Their fried rice isnt the best but if you mix it with the main Course, its Much better. It is a clean restaurant even though it's in an old building. This is a great locally owned business!

Got Sesame Chicken and Shrimp lo mein to go, Lo mein noodles looked like spagetti pasta and shrimp looked boiled. Sesame chicken lasted and looked like orange chicken and had no sesame seeds anywhere. Was a take out order, otherwise would have asked for money back. Will give another opportunity because I believe in supporting small local businesses, but they need to try harder.

Price is not bad, but food is very lacking. I had an order here a month or so ago that I wasn't thrilled with and decided to try something else this time. I picked up a to-go order of combination fried rice and fried wontons. The wontons are over-cooked, dry and taste-less. I think I broke off more pieces than I ate. Picked out the shrimp in my fried rice and nuked them because they looked undercooked. Chicken is in large chunks about half the size of a tender, so I had to cut it up more, onion pieces too since they're larger than the giant chicken pieces. And my third meat... it's chunks of ham. Since when is ham part of fried rice? 5 packets of duck sauce still couldn't give this much flavor, and I didn't even finish a third of it. Will be my last visit here.

I have eaten here off and on for many years. I usually get it to go. I seem to always get the General tso chicken. Their version of this has always been a little different then other Chinese restaraunts, but this evening was thw worst I have ever had from any Chinese restaurant. It was not just a mater of preference. The sause had little to no flavor and when it did... it was discusting. Most likely my last visit to this restaraunts that appears to be spiraling to very pour quality food.

Never got to try the food. I picked it up through the drive thru, and it instantly stunk up my car. I was sick to my stomach from the nasty smell and can only imagine how it tasted. Yuck!

If you are allergic or sensitive to MSG DO NOT EAT HERE!! Way to much MSG in food. Fried rice is white rice with soy sauce. Mushy. Not a good choice at all for Chinese food.

My husband and I eat here regularly. The food is outstanding, and the prices are so affordable! We always have enough for at least two meals when we eat here. If you're sensitive to MSG, just ask them to leave it out, and they'll do it gladly. The egg drop soup is one of the best I've ever had. The service is always impeccable, genuinely friendly and happy to help.

We usually go through the drive through. However, we went inside and got great service on our last visit. Very reasonable on the wallet and you have your next meal because of the portions. The building is old. However, the food is twice as good and cheap as the drive through by the mall.

This place was the worst, the food smelled horrible and the fried rice was sticky and tasteless. Ended up taking it go to be polite and threw it away. Never again. Don't bother.

Huge portions, 2 people can share a to go box for $6! Plus it has a drive through. I get take out at least once a week! The sweet and sour chicken and seaseme chicken is my favorite. The chicken fried rice is really good too. The orange chicken is pretty good, I get that every once in a while. If you like Chinese food, you'll love hunan!

Very good Chinese "fast" food/takeout for CHEAP! Totally shocked by the low, low prices here. Three adults ate well for $16. Friendly staff. Reasonably clean. Very casual, laid back type of place, nothing fancy but good cheap Chinese food! They also had bean curd and a few other options you don't always see in lower end restaurants of this type. Everything our table ordered seemed to be good quality, too.

I get take-out here at least once, if not twice a month, for our evening meal and have Never been disappointed! The portions are generous, bargain priced, prepared fresh at time of order. I really like Hunan Chicken or Beef, but everything I've tried has been very good. 2 adults can easily share a single order and quite possibly have some left over, so if you're on a budget(like I am), it's a real bargain! I enjoy Hunan very much!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
