Guys, I am so torn about this place. Pros: AMAZING pizza! Their pies absolutely are damn good. We have eaten here about six times in the last three or four months. The location is very close to us, in fact, I believe it is the closest restaurant of all. The last time we ate here was two weeks ago. We dine-in because we love our pizza to be right out of the oven. We love that you can customize your pizza down to the variety of sauces. Every time we have ordered the supreme pizza with the pink sauce because we love toppings and the pink sauce has just the right amount of spiciness. The pizza always tastes so delicious with its gooey cheese and great toppings. The crust is fantastic with the perfect crispiness. We have tried a couple of their appetizers. The wings are good, your standard pizza place wing. The real showstopper here, though, is their STUFFED MUSHROOMS. I would honestly just come in and order them with a salad because they are so good. The mushrooms are stuffed with ricotta, parmesan, basil, garlic, red and yellow peppers and topped with tons of mozzarella. Mmm. On the food alone (and the fact that they are less than a 5 minute drive away) I want to give Dam Goode Pies five stars, but... Cons: The service stinks! Every. Single. Time. Normally service makes it or breaks it for a restaurant for me. However, I am such a sucker for a good pizza. I believe I have vowed at least twice that I will never return... but you know how that goes with good food. On most occasions we have visited when it is not busy at all. Even when it has been busy the situation is always like this: you walk in, no one greets you. There is a sign on the counter that says something like "See the bartender to be seated." Sometimes the bar-tender is there, sometimes not. You get seated and sometimes a waiter comes to you quickly, sometimes not. We order quickly... we always know what we want right away. There is a long wait for the food, which we understand because it is all made fresh. We are hardly offered refills. If the place starts getting remotely busy, good luck seeing your waiter again. One of the last times I went, our server was a young blonde girl, perhaps in her late teens or early twenties. While our glasses were sitting there empty and we finally decided to just pay and leave, friends of hers walked in. Instead of offering us more drinks or getting us our check, she was riding her friend's back for a piggy back ride. Priorities, I guess. I want this location to make it, because it is in a place in Rogers that needs a good restaurant and the food is so good. If it keeps up the terrible service, I don't think it will make it. I am on the verge of moving, so I may visit it once more. When I stop and think about the service, though... perhaps I won't.

Very few customers. Kitchen is very slow. Then they burnt our pizzas... So it's even slower now. The waitress was very nice, though, and competed our beers because of the wait. Also, forgot the pickles on the kids' meals. I think the big drawback of this place is all the potheads in the kitchen. Pizza still not here after sitting here an hour. Giving it two stars.

Went last night for the first time. Service was fabulous, friendly and fast! Pizza is pizza. Not bad, nothing extraordinary. Lots of sauce options, 3 crust options and plenty of toppings to choose from. And.... they use "fresh mozzarella, so no cellulose powder...ew"! Score! My beer was ice cold and my husband had a glass or two of red wine.

Earned it's name. The salad was mediocre buy a good portion. I love all the choices in sauce and cheese and crust. I had the stuffy crust, spicy 5 pie, and was not dissatisfied. The service was a tad slow but nothing horrendous. Server was very friendly and accommodated our ridiculous request to split all the checks without hesitation. We were almost the only ones in there, and that's the 2nd time that happened to me... A little weird since the food is so good? I'd definitely go back and recommend it too!

The pizza was really good. Probably the best tasting pizza I've had in quite a while. The salad my daughter got looked good as well. Cheese bread was pretty good too. Service was so-so. Would have expected better since there were only 3 tables of customers.

The name is suiting. We ordered online for delivery. They gave us an estimate for 45 minutes (it was prime football time on a saturday night), it only took 20 though. Both the pizza and breadsticks were Damgoode :)

Original sauce tasted like it was out of a can which was disappointing. Hand toast crust was pretty good and so was the service. Wanted someplace different to go for pizza but for the price I will go back to our usual pizza place.

First time in, had an ok experience. Nice attentive service and a knowledgable server - she knew what was on tap (several local beers), what type of beer it was (this is more rare than what you would imagine), and could tell us which pizzas were most popular, which sauces, etc. We settled an a 10" hand-tossed Hog (pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sausage, bacon) with pink sauce (mixture of traditional red with spicy white) and took the server's suggestion to add pineapple. Also ordered a 6" thin crust Artie (artichoke hearts, mushrooms, and tomatoes) with tomato basil sauce (mixture of traditional red and basil pesto). I really enjoyed both sauces - the white sauce gave the red nice richness and spice and the pesto have it a little garlic basil kick. Toppings were fine, nothing outstanding, and both crusts were ok. Just ok. The thin seemed pretty bland. So all in all, it was ok, and $20 for the 2 pizzas. Better beer, probably more attentive service, and more creative sauces than Gusano's, but I wasn't knocked out. I'll probably give it another try - maybe during happy hour!

This was an excellent pizzeria. The staff were kind and helpful, our waitress was very good. The food is incredible, the crust and sauce and toppings are all delicious. If you want a good pie in Bentonville stop here.

The servers were great and informative and the food came out quickly and hot, however, we were the only diners in the restaurant. The food itself, however, was good but pricey. We ordered a 10-inch Supreme pizza ($12.49) and a 6-inch The Hog pizza ($7.99). The reason for the odd order is because of the significant increase in price between a 10-inch pizza and a 14-inch pizza, which is $9. The 14-inch Supreme pizza costs $21.49; that's a big difference for a couple more slices. Our bill of $22.43 covered the two smaller pizzas. We ate the Supreme pizza there and took The Hog pizza home as a take-out. However, we were still hungry and ended up eating that pizza when we got home. Both pizzas desperately needed more sauce. The crust was wafer-thin like a cracker as advertised. The veggies were fresh. However, the toppings, especially the cheese, were pooled in the middle which made serving and eating it by the slice difficult. We had to cut it up and eat with a fork. We were really looking forward to something extraordinary, especially with acclaimed awards and the top-dollar prices. However, we were disappointed and won't be returning. The pizzas were good, just not so good that we would drive to eat it and pay the high prices as well. There are some better pizza places much closer to us that aren't so outrageously expensive.

This place is worth it for good pie that is a cut above places like Pizza Hut, Dominos, and a about on par with Papa Johns (for me). I've been here a couple of times, and one of them was for an office get together. It was fun and the server was awesome. I'm defintely a fan of this place, and plan to do more business here to satisfy my pizza tooth.

I had their Stuffed PIe. It was delicious and a great alternative to the usual suspects in Benton co.. I had the red sauce, I've been told the pink sauce is better, but I really liked the red sauce. I hope this place makes it. Sausage is bland but not bad

It's pizza. Got a 14" hand tossed pep and sausage with normal red sauce. When we showed up the parking lot was full, but inside there was no one. All employes. Took a little over 30 min to get the food being the only ones there. Some of the employes were talking about how they don't like Mexicans and Blacks with a old guy, who turned out to be the manager. He then started talking about people he knew that had kids in drug rehab. Hand tossed pizza here is thin crust, but chewy. So it got soggy right away. The pizza was not bad but not good. Nothing to remember it by besides the bad service and lack of customers.

Been here twice now and the food has been fantastic each time. The service was great the first time but not so great the second time around. Despite that still plan to return (frequently)!

Worst service ever!!! Wish I could give no stars.. The server Anna was rude and inconsiderate 1. Bought us wrong appetizer with meat whereas we orderd vegetarian. On the top of it she argued saiying it was right one, when another server bought the right one she picked up the wrong one and gave it to the people initially orderd. One of my friend aleady touched it picked up bacon and tasted it. DID NOT APOLOGIZE 2. Orderd beer pitcher, she never bought it and when we canceled it saying we don't want as it took so long she did not say sorry or anything and bitched instead saying I don't know what took so long. 3. I orderd my pie with onions, guess what NO ONIONS 4. When she bought our pies she never said which one was which aa we had vegetarian and non vegetarian orders 5. OUR GLASSES WERE EMPTY, she never bothered to fill it up 6.I asked for extra sauce, she never bought it 7. She snuck up on us from over the booth and heard us 3 times bitching about service and STILL NEVER APOLOGIZED 8. MESSED UP SPLITTING OUR BILLS AS WELL.. I guess this place and management here does not give a f*** about customer service.

I had a late lunch. Ordered the salad & half sub lunch deal. Did not notice any issue at the time. I was the ONLY patron there. Approximately 2.5-3 hours later I was beset with emergent diarrhea. I am writing this review ~24 hours AFTER consuming their food. I am still queasy and have had intermittent episodes of diarrhea since yesterday. I did notify the manager. He offered a discount on my next trip. I replied that will not be necessary; there won't be a next trip.

The BBQ Chicken Pizza was indeed DAMN good. The Hog was more "yeah, not bad". Minus 1 star because it took so long, but I'd rather have good, fresh ingredients with hand tossed crust than something prepared earlier in the day and quick. Sandwich my wife ordered was really good too.

I found a coupon online for this place so I thought I would try it I went on Facebook and ask everybody some people said yes some people said no, so I ordered a pizza not impressed I got a $35 pizza we could only eat half it was the double crusted cheese that I don't even know what to tell you anyway I've never eaten there since, And won't go back.

I was skeptical after reading people's reviews, but I had a mailer they had sent so my wife and I tried it out. SERVICE: The waitress wouldn't let us substitute pepperoni instead of Canadian bacon on their Hawaiian pizza, which didn't make any sense since the cost had to be about the same. We thought that was pretty ridiculous so then decided on their BBQ Pizza. Maybe we were being penalized for using a coupon? PIZZA: It was amazing. We nearly ate the entire thing. The bbq sauce is delicious and their crust reminds me of garlic bread. We both loved it. DESSERT: Chocolate pie. It was pretty bad. I don't like wasting food and yet this went unfinished. My wife will destroy nearly anything with chocolate in it and yet she hated it. The whipped cream was really runny too..looked like melted marshmallow. The crust was too hard and we couldn't cut it with the plastic utensils they gave us. SUMMARY: We left and my stomach started to turn. I kind of joked with my wife about it, then we headed to Devil's Den with the dog to go hiking. By the time I hit the Greenland exit, I nearly cried out "Oh this isn't good" and woke my wife up from her nap. Something ungodly was trying to escape my body. I've never been in this predicament before in my life. It felt like I had swallowed an air compressor hose and someone turned it on- I'm not kidding. It was so fierce that I was trying to drive with one hand hand on the wheel, one clenched fist in my mouth, and with my legs straightened out in the plank position. My wife was laughing but I assured her that this was serious. I cried out "HOW MANY NAPKINS?!???!!!" and she realized the seriousness. She started rummaging around and handed me like 5. I looked at her with fear in my eyes and shaking my head said "HONEY, THIS ISNT GONNA CUT IT" I think a miracle manifested itself because then she somehow found a 2" stack. I pulled over and couldn't get out of the car. Then got out and couldn't walk. She was trying to hold in the laughs while I was walking away from the car like I didn't possess knees. I was walking like a penguin with arthritis and nearly went down twice trying to navigate the small boulders that are everywhere in the ditch. Finally made the move and all was well and after some thankful prayers to God I was back in the car 15 minutes later. After that, we both agreed that a review needed to be left about the joint. I don't know if it was the horrible dessert (runny whip cream?) or that delicious pizza, but something was definitely funky. I like to think that I have a digestive system made of steel but this proved me wrong.

Horrible service, manager has obviously never managed anything before, below average food that is ridiculously over priced. Not returning.

Finally tried this place and I didn't think it was "damn good" at all really. The menu is pizza, pasta, subs and sandwiches, typical of most pizza joints these days. They have many signature pizzas...specialties if you will that sound good but I thought out of the gate, I need to try a regular pizza in order to compare it to favorites I frequent (Bariola's and Gusano's). I had a beef, canadian bacon and mushroom lunch pizza. Perfect size and it came with a salad but I just wasn't crazy about the pizza which boils down to not liking the sauce. The thin crust was thin enough. Now, the menu does give the decision of what sauce you want on your pizza and there were many to choose from-original, tomato basil, pesto, pink sauce, alfredo, spicy alfredo and so on. I am not sure how one can decide! Maybe another sauce would be better? Quite frankly I am not a sauce girl and prefer toppings to sauce. I did try the Fred Bread which had promise but was loaded with pesto and I was disappointed it had no garlic to it. My friend had the Maggie pizza which should have had garlic but too lacked the flavor. Not too excited with my lunch and not eating all the pizza, I tried a piece of cheesecake for dessert. It was ok. I was a bit suprised they served it to me with a plastic fork since we had flatware with the pizza and salad. I had heard complaints about service but they were on top of us throughout lunch checking on us and taking things away, filling our glasses. It was almost to the point of getting on my nerves so they need to find a balance there. My pick for lunch was Slim's (next door) but I was outvoted. Damn Shame I say.

Wow, this is some terrible pizza. Went here with a large group and we were all highly disappointed. Johnny Bruscos, Mellow Mushroom, or even Dominos/Pizza Hut/Papa Johns is way better.

Not so good pizza. Group of seven of us ordered three pizzas. Ours came very overdone. It was just a pizza with burnt crust. Save your money and go somewhere else for dam good pizza

Great pizza, cold beer. What more do you want? Get the large handtossed Hog w/ pink sauce for $20.95. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. You'll love it. 60oz Bud Lite pitchers for $8.50. It's a 4,758 SF building on 1.22 AC lot that is the old rib crib. It has about 40 tables/booths. 5th time here, we really like this place and LOVE their pizza. Check it out.. (Came back, pitchers were only $6.50 this time.) (5:45pm on a Thur)

Friendly quick service, amazing delicious pizza, apps, and salads, and a fun eclectic menu! I do not understand the bad reviews for DGP. I've been going to DGP in Fayetteville since they opened a couple of years ago. I love the Fayetteville location, and went to this Rogers location for lunch the other day. It was just as great! The services was quick, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. We each had the lunch special, which is a big starter salad of your choice, slice of pizza, and a drink for $6.99! The caesar salad was delicious, and our slice of pizza was great! My spicy white sauce was as good as ever! The Rogers location is the old Rib Crib, so the interior is much, much different than the one in Fayetteville, which a little divey, and eclectic for sure, but that's how I like it! (It's Fayetteville after all). This location is much more Family friendly, nicer but still very casual, much larger, but still just as fantastic! These guys have the attitude of if it's not right, they'll fix it. If you're not happy with the way something is going, or has turned out, speak up and say something! They'll fix it! Get doing what you're DGP, and you'll have my business for years to come!

With a name like that, we had high expectations. So... * Great options in sauce - very creative * Variety in crusts - options options * A 'basic' menu option - if you're in a hurry So, we walked in and were immediately seated - no wait. We ordered a salad and a "basic menu" Hawaiian. After a few minutes we were told the salad was unavailable but substituted an alternate one. No problem. Three or four refills of our drinks later, after a salad, and after 40 minutes we finally got the pizza. Twice the nice young waitress said "sorry it's taking so long..." The pie was not really damgoode, but it was certainly ''not bad.'' It wasn't good enough to make me want to come back. And with no customer survey, no manager to come around and apologize for the delay in service, I don't think we'll be back. Too many REALLY GOOD pizza places to settle for this.

This place is great. I go here with my boyfriend and we get pizza with spicy sauce shrimp and sun-dried tomato very good. All ages welcome and wait staff is great. Had pie here and the person that makes them knows what she's doing. Have 1dollar pbr and cheap buckets of beer. Will be returning.

So I moved here from NYC and I know damn good pies. These are pretty good pies but I've go two complaints. 1. They charged me $1 for a small side of red sauce (for bread stick dipping) and $.50 for a very small cup of wing sauce (for pizza dipping). I get it, this is NY style pizza, but don't screw me over with NY style prices. Breadsticks, medium pizza, an a couple beers $35. Get the f#ck outta here. 2. The pizza took over 20 minutes when they weren't even busy. Damn good pies, but everything else sucked. Go back to NY.

Was ok, honestly nothing to write home about. The kids cheese pizza tasted like cafeteria pizza. My wife and I shared a chicken pizza - pink sauce on my side, alfredo on hers. Wasn't bad. I don't think it is a brand that effectively competes with other local chains like Gusanos. I can't see us going out of our way to visit again.

Thought the pizza was very good, cold beer and good all around experience. .

  • Robert A.

Pizza is OK, kinda like a lower quality version of Mellow Mushroom. The biggest surprise was the beer prices - if you want a good place to drink, this wouldn't be a bad option. They got me with the $1 PBR cans - it simultaneously got me thinking of my grandfather and Frank Booth from the movie "Blue Velvet". Heineken....that...., Pabst Blue Ribbon!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
