As I'm sitting here waiting for my bill plenty of time to express my disappointment in today's lunch. Ordered the open face pot roast sandwich off the express lunch menu, with the gravy on the side. 10 minutes or it's free...well it came in well under the 10 minutes but had gravy all over it, thick and cold gravy. The side of mashed potatoes also cold. I wish they would have taken a little longer to get the order right and served hot.

We made a reservation a day in advance to beat the church crowd, so when we showed up they said they don't make reservations and there is nothing they could do. This makes no sense.

Wow that was unimpressive. Nobody there, and they seat an obnoxious child in the booth right next to me. He screamed, shook, complained, kicked, cried and shouted all in 30 minutes. But the food was the most disappointing. I had a chicken breast classic style. It was tiny and looked like it was prepared by someone who didn't like his job. The cottage cheese was 0 fat, not what I wanted. The fries okra was just ok. I would not go back, and I definitely would not recommend this place to others.

Last time I went, I had the misfortune of being served by a waitress who was very rude. We waited 20 minutes for her to come collect my check and run my debit card. I had to get someone else to run my card because I was going to be late for a meeting.

After visiting Paragould and gorging myself on BBQ and homecooked desserts for several days, I always like to detox by going to Dixie Cafe to get some good old fashioned vegetables. It is what the body craves... I really enjoy the vegetable heaven where you can get four or five vegetables as a meal. I like to get a side salad as one of the veggies, and the red beans and rice is quite excellent. If not having all veggies, the chicken fried chicken is quite all right especially with a side of mashed potatoes. I also enjoy the monster sized cups of tea or ice water to wash down the meal. I never had room for dessert here, but their ice cream shop looks pretty well stocked
