It's a gas station that has a real kitchen. Out of the kitchen comes genuine, high quality Indian food. Beats anything on or near hear from an I-40 traveler perspective. - "Spicy" is mild, but all the food is great.

Not sure what other reviewers ate by claiming this is quality 5 star food. I agree the food was adequate, but nothing 5 star about it. However a nice stop with surprisingly clean bathrooms so that's always nice. Graffiti in men's toilet indicates the level of ignorance/stupidity and racism leveled at non white non Christian people in this backward town.Get over yourself your no big deal!

First time eating India food. We really enjoyed it. Always on the look for something new and this was it. Truck stop in Arkansas you think comfort food. They have that to. So no disappointed guests.

We stopped here specifically for the Indian food we'd heard good things about. We were not disappointed; it was authentic and yummy. We had the buffet which had about five entrees to choose from and included naan and dessert. 9.99 They also have a menu to order from.

Amazing Indian food. It was totally unexpected to find an amazing Indian restaurant in the middle of the Ozark national forest in Arkansas. Very kind staff and superb quality of the food. Will definitely stop by next time I'm driving through!

OMG! We were traveling from Texas and were looking for some tasty food place. The food is amazing. The wait time was about 25 minutes but it was totally worth the wait. It was hardcore Desi, delicious, spicy, healthy Indian /Pakistani food. The serving size was good and the service was very nice.

Signs on I - 40 East indicated Indian food at the Dyer exit 20. My wife and I are locals, we have eaten Indian food in Bentonville a hand full of times and generally like the flavors, but we are not experts on the cuisine. We ordered the Butter chicken as a daily special. It was delicious and seemed legit. Service was good. There is also Truck stop fare for people in your party that are less adventurous. The place was clean and NOT like an Indian rat-hole, but it is modern truck stop.

What the hell is going on here? It's an Indian restaurant and it's located inside of a truck stop called "Kountry Xpress?" There has got to be a story or something. Things like this don't just happen. Do they? In Mulberry Arkansas? They have a tandoor and they do traditional Indian cuisine? Shut. Your. Mouth. I"ve been there 3 times. On my most recent visit I called ahead on the way home from a work trip. A woman answered the phone and I asked if I could place a take-out order. She said something like "Well, sure honey..." And then I started listing off items from their Indian menu and she interrupted me abruptly and asked me to hang on. See, there are two different restaurants operating in the same small kitchen there. There's the traditional southern comfort food and the woman I talked to would have been happy to take my order if I wanted a burger or some fried chicken. But I was craving some of their Palak Paneer so she passed me off to one of their Indian cooks. He took my order quickly but he didn't give me a price or a time frame because he had already hung up on me. When I got to the Kountry Xpress 20 minutes later I was told that they were working on my order still so I got to sit there and take it all in. It's got those gambling machines that aren't quite slot machines because they pay out in tickets or credits or whatever. The locals seems to like them. I witnessed one early 20-something female in pink Tinker Belle pajama bottoms go out to her car three different times to get more money to put into one of them. I was there that long. The dining area was a mix of truck drivers eating chicken and road trippers waiting on rest rooms. I sat and watched some NCAA basketball and the trucker next to me was really easily amused by the commercials. He had a solid jovial laugh that made me think of Santa Claus laughing at a dirty joke. He ate Catfish and Okra with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. It took a total of 45 minutes for my 4 entrees and 3 orders on Naan to be ready. The staff kept me updated the whole time and I'm always up for quality people watching. The food was well-packed and was still warm when I got home to Fayetteville 45 minutes later. I really enjoyed the lamb rogan josh and the palak paneer. My family loves the butter chicken. I feel like 3 full order of Naan should last longer than they do. The portion sizes are great. I've always got enough food leftover for another meal but the fresh naan hardly makes it to dinner. Each time has been about the same. You order some dish you tried once when you were in San Francisco or New York or wherever they've got a good ratio of quality Indian restaurants per capita and eat way more of it than you planned on because it is awesome. It's scary, it's funny, and it's not cheap but it is damn fine Indian food for just about anywhere. Just don't judge the place by the awful name. I hear they make a good burger but I doubt I'll ever try it because I can't imagine stopping there and not ordering Indian food.

This is truly a five star restaurant disguised as a gas station and convenience store and a place that serves southern food like fried chicken and other goodies! We were amazed to find it on the highway as a road stop in Arkansas, no offense intended. The real deal with Indian food. Delicious. Great chai tea. We liked it so much, we made a point to stop on our way back home to California. Equally as good as Indian restaurants I've eaten at in a big city with lots of competition. Enjoy!
