After leaving another restaurant down the street, Señor Tequila was a great surprise. The food was excellent and the service was fast. The Mileneza was excellent. We definitely will be going back.

Bland food in my opinion. Unseasoned meat and chicken taste like it came from a can. They call this dining out? Mexican food? Yuck. I hope there's a better place near by.

Lights: at each table that are more like interrogation lamps beamed at your eyes, I swear they were at least 9,000 lumens. Service: well our "waitress/server" took our order from the bar.....finally after we were about to leave for another restaurant. Food: dry chicken with the texture of balsa wood. I should've microwaved an Amys dinner, it would've been better. Drinks: Pre-made in a pitcher. Tastes alright and does the trick, but sets off "this is going to make me hungover/sick" bells. There was also a TV with the Volume Maxed out playing pretty much just commercials. Won't be back.

.Chicken tortilla soup, gaucamole salad and free chips and salsa even on Togo orders! It isn't like Texas' authentic ' Mexican' but it is better than taco cabana friendly staff and quick service.

If you are looking for Mexican food avoid this place. Had taco and enchilada plate that tasted like what I imagine dog food tastes like in a tortilla covered with tomato sauce. I'm from Southern California and this is not Mexican food.

UPDATE: Okay, I went here just the other night and I am changing my review. Tthe food was HORRIBLE. I mean it was nasty. I had the #9 Combination and they all tasted the same. In my below review I said I always ordered the Pollo Asada. Well, I WILL NEVER CHANGE that order again. But the taste and texture of my last meal was enough for me to warrant this update. The service was outstanding and the singer they had was a nice change. The dill-weed who got up there and sang some Willie Nelson song needed to go. However, he was a tad bit taller than WIllie. Not much but he was. I have come here many many many times. The service has always been wonderful and the food is always above average, for a place that orders from sysco, I am sure. I think they all do. Anyway, it is very cheap and the drinks are strong. As a clock has 60 seconds, I order the Pollo Asada everytime. There is no need to bring me a menu. It is there best dish by far. My friends always order something new each time but when you tried just about everything on the menu and your favorite is this dish then why order anything else.. Try it.. you will love it. I just cant seem to give this place a higher rating beacue if you were to compare their menu w/ other Mexican restaurants, it looks like they stole eachothers menus. If they were different then they would have a 4th star. In saying that, their food is much better than that of the others who have like menus.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
