If your hunger for a really good ribeye steak, stop at Carl's place in MARSHALL. Service was prompt and friendly. We will stop there again.

This place is CLOSED, and for sale!! Ok- if you trAvel up the road, there's a Carls in Marshall. Just need to change information about location!

Have driven past between home and Missouri many times but never stopped. After reading reviews we decided to try Carls. Pleasantly surprised. Tried catfish. Very tasty. Shrimp was a little overdone but very eatable. Baked potato salad was repurposed baked potatoes and acceptable but a little heavy on mayo. Baked beans were above average. Deserts displayed looked scrumptious but was too full to try. Acceptable service. Menu has a lot of selections. Will stop more times to sample other items such as BBQ. Waitress explained they do their own breading, barbecue all their own products, and make all deserts. Overall, a nice place with prices only a little above fast food.

I always have to stop by when I visit my mom and sisters in Leslie. Great BBQ and hushpuppies! Their pies are tasty too :-))
