The last time I went here when I got my food there was a hair on my plate. The waiter didn't bother to apologize or get a manager. He got my food remade and then left us alone. He brought us a bill for full price. I ended up talking to a manager myself before we left and all he did was give me a 15% discount for the next time we came in. So essentially they will pay the tax. What a joke. I will not be taking my family here again.

This place is horrible. All the positive reviews are either delusional or by people without tongues. All the food is bland, and I'm pretty sure their "salsa" is pureed tomatoes with a dash of fajita seasoning. Service was sub-par but not horrible enough to call out. Their fajita plate was grilled chicken (not seasoned, mind you) with rice and beans, some sort of guacamole imposter, and tortillas that clearly came from a grocery store. The only saving grace of this place is their late night happy hour, and the bartender/waiters don't seem to care enough about the restaurant's bottom line and can easily be bribed to throw extra shots into the house margaritas. All-in-all, show up for a couple drinks if you're looking to get housed. If you're a person with a super sensitive stomach or recovering from surgery or influenza, this is the place for you.

Ordered their Chicken Milanesa plate. Chicken was good, the rice has peas and carrots in it-nice twist. Plate was served with fresh avocado slices, a dollop of sour cream and grated cheese. I took one star off because no choice was offered for the tortillas - we received flour, but with this plate I prefer corn. Also no beans were served on the plate - which is pretty much a staple where I come from. Great service and nice atmosphere.

It's location makes it a popular place but in the end it's just an okay place. Not very authentic. The salsa might as well be water. The chips are never fresh. Redeeming qualities: location, military discount, and food portions.

Oh my goodness! First off I was a little leery about going to this place based on the mixed reviews that it was getting. But when I drive by a place and the parking lot is full then I know it has to be something worth trying. I am very glad I did, I left there with a very full and satisfied belly!! Chips and salsa to start is always good, you can get a small cheese dip for 3bucks which is good to me. I had the tacos carne asada and I was very surprised how much meat they had in em! They did not come with the typical onion and cilantro that I was used to, but that is okay by me! These tacos had so much flavor!! Every bite was better than the next! The side of rice and beans was alright, I am not much of a fan where ever I go when it comes to that stuff. I also ordered a side tamale which was quite decent. It had shredded beef inside and ground beef on top? I scraped off the ground beef because I just did not enjoy the flavor but the rest of the tamale was great! I will for sure be heading back to this place, more than once!! Oh and also this place had the best sweet tea I have found anywhere in the Little Rock area so far!

Loved everything about this place! Service could have been a lil bit more on top of their game but the food is excellent!

  • Sharla H.

Service is great. People are awesome. Texmex is good. But - a note to the management: some people know what tequila is what. I ordered Herradura reposado. Don't give me something else or a diluted version and expect me to not know. #siptequila

Customer service and cleanliness was excellent but its all about the food. When my food came out my plate was super hot but when i ate the meal it was cold as well as bland. This leads me to believe the food was was frozen and not fresh. I would have given these guys three stars for how great the staff was as well as cleanliness of the place, but staff will come and go and i've been to plenty of hole in the wall joints that had the absolute best food to die for. So what I am saying is it all comes down to the freshness/taste of the food.

Very good Tex-Mex! And the margaritas were great. The service was excellent. Probably the best Mexican food in the area. Nice atmosphere, too.

My fave Mexican spot in littlerock. Good food. huge portions. Also the large margarita is super HUGE bigger then my head and so yummy. I was pretty wasted afterwards so they are not stingy on the alcohol. Good waiters. And a huge vegetarian menu. The veggie nachos I recommend. Super filling and they use a great white cheese sauce. Good prices as well. They also play bachata at the bar which is a big thumbs up. Military discount also available

  • Josh B.

Awful customer service. My wife and I were served frozen salsa twice. We had the double steak fajita meal. Everything except the steak lacked any notable flavor. It was like the Salsarita's of sit-down Mexican restaurant. If you've ever had Salsarita's, you'll understand what I mean. The food there is also very bland and flavorless. The only reason I've been gracious enough to leave this disgrace of a restaurant a two star review is for the expeditious service. Our meal was ready within ten minutes of arriving at the restaurant. However, that was not a redeeming factor, as the food was still awful. I will not be dining here again.

I've been here about 3 times and I was always impressed with the food I got. Prices were pretty reasonable and the portions are good sized. Worth coming back often.

CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. If you're drunk or have a large group of friends or family you have to pay for, then this is your spot. I'm from SA and I wouldn't t eat here unless I was in one of those categories above. Save your pesos and go eat at Cotija's up the street on Main St. Or try Señor Tequila either on JFK or on University. Ok, I'm done. The Mexican/Puerto Rican has spoken.

Good food. Never had bad service. Always polite. Food is good. Place is clean and well kept. They always have deals on drinks. All in all it's a good place to go for a meal.

Cheap, fast, and good! Lunch special can't be beat. 10% military discount. My coworkers and I eat here once a week.

  • Tina W.

I got plenty of food for $11 and a Mariachi band. As a weekly traveler, I get stuck in some strange places but I thought their food was good, service was fast, and the band was good too. Felt like I was back on the Riverwalk.

  • Kar K.

Haven't ventured much from fajitas and margaritas, but they do both of these things very well. Love the atmosphere here... It seems more authentic with the decor/music/etc. that they have. They have a really nice bar. Service is always great.

Nice place. Waiter had jokes and got me good as soon as I sat down. Had the Chile Verde pork. Pork was tender and flavorful. Will be back I did go back and it was as good if not better than the first time Will definitely go back next trip to AR

  • Roger S.

Food was decent at a decent price, you are given complimentary chips and salsa even if you're just there for drinks. Service was average but the staff was very friendly. They have a liquor license which is a nice plus. Overall I would recommend and will be visiting again.

I am stuck here trying to eat while they are during karaoke. Why does this place do karaoke do they know its a Mexican food place? How embarrassing I just wanted food they put us right by the karaoke machine. Im never coming here again!

Great Mexican food at a great price. I have had a few different plates and each one is better and better. The waiters are very attentive.

I really like this place. I have been here a bunch of times. It's two minutes from the Air Force Base the food is really good and the service is great.

Great salsa, good food, usually very busy, so service can be rushed, and communication a problem.

  • Corrie R.

I agree with the other review. The food was so flavorful and delicious! And the portions were enormous for the price. The service never left me waiting on anything either. Fantastic place to eat.

An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
