The Fish Nest offers homemade casseroles, yeast rolls with real butter, cornbread, smoked ham, pork butts & ribs, and smoked chicken. They smoke their own meats. They really don't have much competition in Glenwood, so they always seem to be busy! The food is pretty good, but not very fresh. The waitresses are sweet, but in my experience the management can be rude. I've tried more than once to place an order to-go on a weekend and couldn't get anyone on the phone. It's definitely not bad but pretty mediocre compared to the fresher and tastier food at Rocky Mountain Grill which is only ten minutes down the road.

Are you kidding me? $8.99 for the country buffet Thursday night. Who has fried green tomatoes on a buffet? This place. They were fresh picked and hand battered. The pulled pork was some of the best I've ever had. Mexican style chicken casserole (wtf) tasted like your grandma made it. The only two things on the buffet that weren't fresh prepared were the peas and carrots and the corn. This place is not much to look at, but when you sit down to eat, it's like you're at a country church potluck. The fact that all that home made food was on a buffet was baffling to this city boy. My only complaint is that i will never be satisfied at another buffet again.

I'm not normally into buffet places but this one does a good job! The catfish, beans, cornbread and ice tea were very tasty! This is a good place to stop after going to the crater of diamonds state park.

What a fortuitous find! We're on way to Crater of Diamonds state park and took a chance. Southern buffet menu including salad, fried items, hot veggies, ribs, etc. really liked fried catfish, black-eyed peas, and cobbler! Good prices too!

Good place to eat...may be the only place to eat in Glenwood, Ar. Nice buffet - good catfish, hushpuppies, pickled tomato's.

pickled tomato and catfish,just like home, this is the place. food is good southern style home cooking. service is so so deepens on who is working but I wouldn't let a little bad service keep my away form a good plate of fried catfish, or a good burger. one of the best places in Glenwood to eat.
