Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

If you are a diabetic, you should also avoid Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich and Whataburger Patty Melt at Whataburger. Chicken Fajita Taco is also off-limits for diabetics. High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. You should also avoid Avocado Bacon Burger and Monterey Melt as both these burgers contain a high amount of fat. Sweat & Spicy Bacon Burger will add extra 1080 calories in your diet so skip that as well. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

I appreciate good food done well. That is what we found at this place. We dined here on a whim to celebrate our 13 year anniversary a day early, and we couldn't have had a better experience. Our server was young, and not extremely knowledgeable of the liquor, but he made up for it with suggestions and timely visits to our table. We will be eating here again. By the way, if you follow me, you know I don't fret over price too much. But, for those who do, we had two appetizers, two entrees and 6 adult beverages, including two double pours and our bill was barely $100 before tip. So, good food for a great value.

Great flavor, good price, nice atmosphere and a variety of menu options. I had the garden tacos no cheese; the were perfectly cooked and the rice and beans were wonderfully flavorful! My husband ate the special a crab, salmon, shrimp burrito with white sauce. He kept making comments as he ate it how great each bite was. Local beer on tap and several da gross. Great service!

I've only been to the Bentonville downtown location previously. Earlier today, I took 3 colleagues with me to go to Hammontree's but saw the long line. So when I saw Table Mesa just off of Dickson Street, I made an impromptu decision to go here instead since my past experiences at the Bentonville location had been great. Definitely try to Cheap Dates. It's medjool dates filled with gorgonzola and cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and pan-fried. It comes with some ornamental greens (shredded lettuce and tomatoes) and a savory dipping sauce. The taste is a mix of sweetness from the dates, pungent creaminess and saltiness from the cheese mixture, savory-sweet smokiness from the bacon. Since we came here during brunch hours, I tried their chicken and waffles. My slight issue with Table Mesa's version of this brunch classic is that first, the description says that the chicken is spicy. I didn't detect a hint of heat in the batter. Second, chicken and waffles I have had in the past were all bone-in dark meat. The white meat chicken strips were a bit of a letdown because they were just slightly dry and definitely under-seasoned. The waffle was great though. It was light and fluffy. But below the waffle is a bed of fries. Yes. Fries. That is a sacrilege. Roscoe's, this is not. Overall, the serving size is a bit disappointing. 3 small chicken strips with a regular-sized waffle on a bed of fries. The fries are obviously the filler. I do have to say though, my meal was redeemed with the freshest French Press coffee this side of Paris. Where the chicken and waffles dropped 2 stars, the coffee earned one star back to four.

This is one of the few places in Fayeteville we've dined at and actually enjoyed. The wait looks like it can get a little crazy on weekends so definitely make a reservation. Everything we've had here so far has been good: the Portobello Mushroom Melt, Painted Desert Pasta (one of the pricier items on the menu but awesome because of the quality of the prawns and crab and what tasted like housemade pasta!), and the Pollo - Fajita Style. We'll definitely be back.

The wait for brunch was over an hour, even with a reservation. It was raining and there was no place to sit. Kept getting in servers' paths. Couldn't even get to the bar to order a drink. Cheap Dates were good. 4 to an order so each of us had one. Fish tacos were very dry- over cooked and bland. Had to ask for spicy salsa to add but it was bland too. Finally just put on hot sauce out of bottle. Probably won't go back, even though I really wanted to like it.

This place was surprisingly very good. We almost didn't go because it looks fancy and expensive. We started with chips and queso- the chips were season with a lemony/light ranch taste they were so good. The queso was also unique but good. I ordered the chicken ranchero tacos for $8. So worth it and some of the best tacos I've had. They had lots of meat and it was very well seasoned. The tortilla was a little dry but not bad. The atmosphere was perfect for a date! Soft music, fancy looking, and not to expensive. They also have a big drink menu that helps.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Northwest Arkansas. You can take the kids and it's perfect for Date Night. The chips and salsa are better than all other restaurants in town. You must try the Cheap Dates, Korean BBQ Tacos and the Sangria. If you like food that's a little different and a little more gourmet, this is your place.

Some friends and I ate here last weekend. Overall it was delicious and service was great. We started out with the "cheap dates" - dates stuffed with a Gorgonzola and cream cheese mixture, and wrapped in bacon. They were really tasty, albeit a bit pricey, at 4 small dates for $8. For our entrees, I got the butternut squash enchiladas with goat cheese. Hands down, one of the best meals I've ever eaten. If you like veggies and "earthy" flavors, I highly recommend them. They have a selection of various tacos for $5 apiece. My boyfriend chose 3 different tacos for his entree. He said they were all great. My friends had already eaten dinner, so they just split a plate of the potato skins. They looked good, typical potato skins really. My only complaint is that their drinks are a little pricey. I got a vodka martini, and my boyfriend got a vodka soda, both with Tito's, which isn't top shelf. Our drinks were $8 each, which seemed a bit steep. We weren't surprised though, considering a bottle of Miller Lite costs just under $4 there. Overall it was a great visit- tasty food and good service. Just watch yourself on the drinks, because a $30-$40 tab could easily turn into $60-$80. :) We'll definitely be back!

Atmosphere was great, especially if you sit outside and watch the world go by on a gorgeous Fayetteville evening. Food was really good as well. A bit on the pricey side, but delicious nonetheless. The chocolate chimichanga was by far my favorite!

The restaurant has changed its name to "Table on the Hill" -- although 95% of the Table Mesa menu remains (according to our server). Went here for the first time last night and was completely surprised. Excellent food. The Cheap Dates are incredible. I had the Kale salad with salmon as an entree. A+ will return again and again. Great atmosphere/upscale bar. Great service. A small error in our order was corrected and comped in minutes. Perfect place for professionals and date nights. Food quality and ambiance rival pricier options in downtown Fayetteville (Theo's, Vetro, and Bordino's).

This place is good on its own. However, the Bentonville location is much better. Worth the trip for the difference unless you plan on going to Dickson after dinner. Still a great place though.

I went on the recommendation of a friend. They said it was excellent. We went and had okay service, and not so good food. I got the fish tacos which were so fishy tasting they made me gag. He got a chorizo burger medium rare which came way past well done, and the fried egg on top was hard as a rock. A woman opened the door for us and asked how it was. Upon hearing it was not good, she offered to refund the food for us. We never complain, but this was just a one off time when we were asked, and answered honestly.
