Very good if you're looking for fast food. Free kids meals today (Monday) was just a bonus. We had fried pickles, okra, chicken tenders, salads, and one of us tried chicken and waffles. Everyone was happy with their meal. The salad that I ate was the buffalo one minus blue cheese. It was perfect. Fresh and made when I ordered it. The ranch was yummy, too. Kids meals had 2 chicken tenders, Mac and cheese, and a drink. My kiddos all loved the peach iced tea. Clean restrooms, dining area, and nice employees. We'd visit again.

My favorites are the grilled chicken slim salad with ranch and the grilled chicken wrap. I also like their wings and tea.

Great service, though the food seems to have lost its taste. Use to be a great place, quality has been replaced by quantity. Strongly recommend you not to eat here. This is a tragic story of great to garbage.

Best "semi fast food" chicken ever!! Everything they serve is good quality and delicious! I recommend tenders with blackened ranch and honey mustard! Fried okra and even their French fries are awesome! Chicken and waffles is amazing, the waffles are better than most breakfast places!!! My mouth is watering just writing this review!!

Amazing food!! Without a doubt the best thing going!! The most consistent food ever!! I have eaten here probably 2-300 times over the past few years and it is always great!! The Mac&cheese is amazing!!!! The managers and owners are very concerned that they are providing quality service and are open for feedback!!! Keep it up!!!!!

Slims is always a solid choice. Has to be right up there in the top 3 chicken places in fayetteville. Try the cayenne ranch if you like a little spice, my favorite and a little change from regular ranch. Also extremely good fried okra!

I have been going to slims since the first week they opened. It's a good tender and decent sauce. In general it's a little more expensive than some other chicken places but I have found the quality to also be better here. I have to admit I got upset when they started charging for extra sauce after they opened but went back a few years later because is the quality of the tenders. Also, the customer service is good and that is important to me. I once got a plate that hadn't been up to their normal standards they replaced it and gave me a refund no questions asked. (Rogers location). That impressed me and has made me a loyal and more regular customer.

First time at Slim's. Started with fried pickles, a little overcooked and way too salty. Tenders were very good, light breaking and tender. Cayenne ranch had a nice kick, hot wing sauce tasted like it came straight from the bottle, nothing special. I also got a extra side of gravy, which was somewhat bland. Fries were good. As far as chicken spots, this is one of the better ones, and has a wide variety of sauce choices.

Some of the best chicken tenders you'll ever have, bar none! These guys started in Fayetteville and now have like 8 restaurants statewide. I've taken people from all over the country here and every single one of them raves about it! Great service, great sauces, wings are delicious, and nothing better for a hangover!

After my boyfriend's go-to chicken place closed we decided to try the chicken here. I thought it was a little pricey but tried it anyway. We ordered the 5/5 platter and couldn't decide on the sauce for the wings so I asked for it on the side. My daughter doesn't like it too spicy so I thought having it on the side would allow her to control how spicy it was. It came with 2 sauces so I tried the ranch and slim's sauce. While we were waiting I looked at the receipt and saw that I was charged for 2 sauces. I asked the girl and she said that because I got the wing sauces on the side it counted as the 2 sauces. I asked if I would have gotten the sauce on the wings then the ranch and slim's sauce would have been free and she said yes. So to those who like their sauces on the side, don't do it unless you want to pay extra! This dropped it down a star for me. I wish the girl would have told me this to begin with.

Review for the Fay Biz District location: Cool, bluesy-Memphis vibe inside. Did not expect that. Great naked tenders that were tasty and decent size, good iced teas, and awesome seasoned fries! Texas toast is good when you throw on a dash of some of their season salt. This is a new favorite.

The chicken tenders are pretty good.They are juicy. I haven't tried a lot of the different sauces but their honey mustard is pretty decent.

The name says it all... Slim on chicken. We got a lot of fries and very little chicken. I've been to almost all the chicken places in NWA and this chain is nothing special. The chicken wasn't great and the fries were extra greasy. After paying a chicken meal and receiving largely just a basket of fries, I've never been back.

We were just visiting Fayetteville, and Slim Chickens other locations had gotten pretty good reviews, so we tried it. The one closer to campus was packed with college kids (and we had a newborn with us), so we headed to this one a few miles away. It's in a nice commercial district, lots of other restaurants and shopping nearby. The place looks pretty new, very clean and modern-looking. There are several TV's around with sports on. My wife had the medium wings, and I had the hot. The wings were pretty good, the hot was just slightly hot (I would call it medium), and the medium wasn't hot at all. But, they were plenty meaty and tasted good, especially with the ranch dipping sauce. We also had fries, they were pretty good - good seasoning on them. Coke products on tap (my favorite).

Ate here 8/11/10 Slim Chickens is exactly what it says it is. Its a chicken joint. I had chicken tenders, fries, and bread. The sauces were good, the fries well seasoned, and... yeah. It was good. I will say that the brine or marinade they do their chicken imparts a nice flavor, though the breading is of the sparse variety (as opposed to Zaxby's, which has a more substantial breading). Its good chicken. Its not terribly convenient to my apartment, so i probably won't go very often, but if i'm on College, and i feel the need to enjoy some chicken tenders, i'll go. I should note here that this review would have been four stars, but the guy working the drive thru window was frankly kinda surly and rude, and at 2 pm on a Wednesday, that sort of thing isn't necessary. But other than that, the food was good, and if you're in the neighborhood, and in the mood, you should check them out.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night as he had fallen in love with the creepy chicken logo the first time we drove past the place last summer. It was busy, but the service was great. We each had a 3/3 platter which consisted of 3 Wings, 3 Chicken Tenders, fries, a drink, and some Texas Toast. The food was great, wing sauce and fries were delicious. The only complaint I had was that two fast food dinners were a little over 20 bucks.... but hey you get what you pay for, we will definitely return (hopefully with a coupon!)

I've been coming to NWA for the past couple of years, as my daughter is going to UARK. Of all the chicken joints I've tried (and that has been at least half a dozen), this one is the best. I usually visit NWA 3-4 times a year and this is the only place I've been to every time I visit. The price is very reasonable for what you get. I actually like the breaded chicken tenders, but being from southern California and ingrained into the health conscious mode, I usually order the grilled tenders. I like very spicy food so I usually get the inferno sauce and order a second sauce to try something different. While the inferno sauce is hot (an 8 out of 10 on my hotness scale) it still has a very good flavor. The fries are better than most places while the Texas toast is very good (eat it while it is still warm). I like what the owners have done and will continue to support them on my occasional visits to NWA.

Best "fast food" ever. The chicken is always fresh, ranch is amazing, etc. This one is newer than the other location and has several nice TV's in there as well. Good for a quick stop on a Saturday while watching a game.
