Probably only bested or (worsed) by it's sister store on College Ave. Nearly inedible. Decent service, drinks, chips/salsa, decor. The Chili Relleno was, all joking aside, the worst I've ever eaten. We tried a couple of combo's so to get a taste of a large portion of the menu and can tell you that nothing other than the chips/salsa was even okay. The tamale, with out any doubt in my mind, was from a can.. If the flavor didn't prove it, the shape of a tamale shoved in a can did. I would love to like or love this place, but it was just bad.

Even for Arkansas there is much better Mexican food up the road in Springdale. As mediocre as Walmart, but if you have a couple of their big Cadillac margaritas you won't care. Cheap cheap cheap! Give it a shot.

Fast, Friendly, Serice and giant margaritias. BUT, it's American-ized Mexican food. That is to say, take some seasoned ground beef wrapped in a totilla and cover it with cheese sauce, better bring the rollaids as a back up.

Actually a nicer and larger location that the La Huerta on College, but I have to take off a star for being located in a part of town I seldom made it to. Still, good food that is cheap.

Yummy! What makes this place different from the one on college is the huge back patio. Shaded by a large tree, it's a great place for margaritas during a warm day/evening.

Horrible. The cheese enchiladas I ordered had no melted cheese on the inside whatsoever. It's was still shredded! It was like someone took a tortilla, threw some shredded cheese in it, rolled it up, and served it thinking it would actually be good. There's no way we would be giving this place another chance.

I work near this restaurant so I keep trying to like it despite its continuous tendency to disappoint. Today I went and ordered a fish taco on a corn tortilla with beans and rice and no chips to go. It took them a half an hour to make it, they messed up my order by putting the fish taco on a flour tortilla (I have non-celiac gluten sensitivity so this doesn't work for me). There was nothing on the fish taco except fish. No lettuce or cabbage, no sauce of any type, no lime to garnish, nothing but greasy blandness. They included a huge bag of stale chips (which I had asked them not to) which are almost brown and taste like dirty fryer oil. The beans are grossly bland. Thankfully the rice and salsa were edible. Unfortunately my experience today is pretty typical. I'm writing this review to remind myself not to go there again.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
