I love this place! Great food, great prices and great service! They have an awesome patio with live music in the summer - so fun! They have $1.99 margaritas on Monday and Wednesday - yes please!

100% mediocre. Chips and salsa were ok. We ordered the chunky guacamole and it was just an chopped up avocado mixed into pico. The tomatoes didn't taste fresh. I had one beef taco and one chicken soft taco. The meats were bland served on a soft flour tortilla with lettuce and a ton of shredded cheese. Too much in my opinion. The food was edible, but lacked authenticity and quality. We will not be going back.

Finally, a refreshing Mexican restaurant! The food is fantastic. It's hard to find but well worth it! Ask for chunky guacamole that's not on the menu, wonderful! The gold margarita ( made by Jose) GRAND! Cindy put us in a great place and a sweet smile too!!! Got to do this! You won't be disappointed I promise!!!!!

Atmosphere was clean and bright. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were good. The bar seemed to have a wide variety of specialty cocktails, but we did not sample. Food was standard and adequate. Tortillas were not homemade and rice was under-seasoned. Those two details alone might have increased the rating to 4 stars. If you are looking for something standard & predictable this is great. But if you want something a little more authentic or unique, this might be a bit disappointing.

Let's start with the location so you won't miss it. Just west of the I-49 interstate at the Wedington exit (exit 64) turn at McDonald's onto Steamboat Drive and it's about a block. This is a nice clean restaurant with very good service. Today was my second visit and each was with three other people. The eight meals included burritos, tacos, taco salad, quesadillas, enchiladas and fajitas. Everyone was pleased with their meal and considered every dish to be far above the average. I had a special which is not on the menu called Ghost Pepper Fajitas. I don't have words in my limited vocabulary to properly describe how delicious and different they were. I've had a lot of fajitas and I have never eaten anything close to this outstanding combination of flavors. I hope they add them to the menu. The salsa is in the top 5% that you will find anywhere. The quantity, quality and price will satisfy your tummy, taste buds and wallet. My only complaint is that I live 20 miles up the road but it's worth the trip.

The food was worth the price! Prices are very reasonable. The staff was friendly and always there when we needed something. My husband and I shared a quesadilla, and we both agreed it was delicious! The only con was trying to find the location; we had to use our GPS to find it. When we return to Fayetteville, we will definitely eat here again!

This place is alright. They are not fantastic, I have had better, but they aren't terrible....trust me, I have had A LOT worse! I stopped by here with my brother and sister to have dinner last night and it was decent. They have pretty good salsa, the chips are not made fresh, they taste like they have been sitting in a warmer for a while. The salsa was not too spicy, had a thicker sauce around chunks of tomato, onion and peppers. It was good, needed a little salt, but what salsa doesn't? My brother had the Chile Colorado, which was tender chunks of beef in a rich red Colorado sauce. It was pretty good, they serve it with either flour or corn tortillas. My sister had the cheese enchilada and tostada combo, the enchilada was with that white queso fresco stuff which I am not a fan of, so it was not too good to me, but she liked it. I had the taquitos, beef and chicken, which were really good. They were served with guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo, and it was fresh and really tasty. The taquitos were rolled in a corn tortilla and fried with onions and peppers inside. There was plenty of meat, so you could get a taste of it all in each bite, I was impressed. We all walked out spending under $10.00 for a meal and a drink, which was nice. Overall, I would probably go back with no problem if a friend wanted to try it. Would I venture there on my choice? Probably not, only because there is a place down the road with better salsa and I love chips and salsa. It was good food, but nothing special.

One word - fantastic!! The Hawaiian Fajitas Jalisco come in a hollowed out pineapple and are the best I've had. $1.99 Margarita special was even better. Will return and would recommend to anyone. Awesome location that is within walking distance of many hotels. Great place and a great atmosphere. I would recommend it to everyone.

Prices are decent. Service is decent. Prices are probably low because the quality of food is low. There was four of us at the table and almost every dish had the same brownish sauce on it. Probably dipped out of a can. No cheese on anything. Just a very bland meal.

A reasonably priced little jewel of a Mexican restaurant tucked away between some hotels. Good food and good service. Deserves better reviews than others have written. Family owned and operated very friendly. Music plays in background but is not overbearing. Worth stopping in and enjoying a meal.

Tried this place tonight for the first time. Food was pretty good but service was defiantly lacking. Waitress actually told us the other server did not know what he was doing. Ordered a drink and was never asked about another. When we stop the waitress she brought over the server who told us they could not get us another drink because it was almost time to close.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
