To start, I only give a bad review based solely on the service I have again, and again had there. I have been a regular for years since I noticed it in the old KFC on oak. Now, I have never had a bad dish, drink, soup, exct. And that is very good. This all starts with the service, or better said one waiter. I eat there multiple times a month and every time I go I just hope to not sit at his table. They have been through countless very good other servers but he remains employed through everything. I am unsure why month after month a new server has taken the place of the good attentive wait staff but he remains. Anyone who eats there regularly knows whom I speak of. As an example, I went today on my regular lunch date with my best friend, and my daughter joined us for this laugh fest. Let's start a clock and see if John Tafford would explode. 12:00 walk in the door, manager welcomes us and tells that one certain server there is customers waiting. 12:05 manager notices we are still standing at the front while he is doing something in back, she seats us at our table and apologizes for not being seated sooner. The whole time we are all three hoping it wasn't his table, and unfortunately it is. Now keep in mind we have not spoken to our server once yet. Since we sat down a young couple was sat by us and a woman and her son sat at the table next to ours, and the manager sat us all with menu and cutlery, which we didn't need menus being regulars we already knew what we wanted. 12:20, he came and asked what we would like to drink and we gave him our full order, then he turned and got the woman and son's drink order, meanwhile ignoring the young couple who sat after we did. They didn't have menus or anything yet. 12:30, finally returns with our and the Mom and son's drinks and took their order and still ignored the young couple. The whole time he had tables closer to the front that had sat after all of us and they were already getting their main dish. Keep in mind, we haven't gotten our appetizers yet, and the young couple had not even been asked what they would like to drink. 12:35, the mom and son get their dish, he finally took the young couples order, and the couple who sat by the cashiers station , who sat down 10 min after us was almost done eating their meal. 12:45, our appetizers finally came to us, cold like they were sitting in the window for a while. The young couple still only had drinks. 1:10, our main dish finally came to our table and not only was I already 10 minuets late back to work but he completely got my friends dish completely wrong, well take that back at least he got the category of dish rite. He ordered spicy basil beef with steamed rice and he was given spicy basil chicken with fried rice. Keep in mind the young couple was just finishing their appetizers. 1:25 we eat and are ready to pay and can't find our waiter, so being so late to return to work we decide to go to the register and pay, no fortune Cookie, no nothing. I don't want to say I will take my business elsewhere but am getting close. I really think he should be reassigned to dishes or something. I don't want him fired I just never want him as a waiter again. I will go back but I will no longer be polite about my displeasure with the service. I also ask everyone who reads this please do the same and make it a much better eating experience for everyone.

Very pleasant ambiance-quiet and calming. Efficient, friendly service. Nice oasis amongst BBQ & fried Southern. Spring rolls crisp, iced coffee tasty as was V16 Pho w/rare steak, tendon, brisket and meatball. Great broth! Enjoy!

Food would have been good but I can only rate it as "ok" since it warm and no longer hot. Biggest problem was that they were short staffed and you could tell by the level of service and that the food had been sitting for awhile cooling before they had somebody to bring it to us. Had to also get up and get my own spoon and ask for refills. I think if they would have had two more people working it would have been fine.

We live in Southern California near one of the largest Vietnamese communities in the world, outside Vietnam. We know our Vietnamese food. So we weren't expecting much at this restaurant (which also serves other types of Asian food), but the Pho was quite good. The staff was super friendly and we were grateful to have this option for both dinner and lunch!

Really like this place!! Vietnamese is like they serve it in Saigon!! Portions are generous and ALWAYS right on. Thai dishes also are done well but not enough Basil and peppers for me .... Probably toned down for central Arkansas tastes. Good for lunch, dinner or a quick satisfying afternoon refill :)

Well, all I can say is, this is the only place you can get PHO in town, so this leaves me no other choices. But they actually do have some decent food ! worth the money to try it

I love this place. The recipes seem very authentic and it is a unique experience with only one other oriental restaurant in the state (which is in lr and not conway) that is as good. The red curry is fantastic and i love the aloe vera drink which is totally unique. It is a place for adventure and not for boring conventional americanized food. Service is usually pretty good, cooking is always amazing. The menu is deep and i have loved most of the dishes i have tried and felt the few ones i didnt were done well and just happened to be dishes i dont like no matter how well they are cooked. There are some good healthy options also which are very rare in conway restaurants.

One of Conway's best kept secrets! Peaceful atmosphere and awesome oriental food. Lots of spicy food, but you get to choose your spicyness scale (1-5). I adore the panang and the fun Dim Sum menu! Great deals on beers too ($2 bottles!).

I ate here last night, and I spent $17.55 on an a plate of chicken curry and an appetizer. Therefore, this restaurant is way over priced. The food was terrible just ask my stomach the whole next day, and the service was horrible. It took over 10 min. for the server to talk to me for the first time, and they weren't even busy. This is my second time to this place, and I will never go back.

Do not be fooled by the menu. These people do not know what boba is! I also ordered the thai tea and could not take more than two sips as it was so sweet it was undrinkable. Pho was okay.

Huge menu and friendly service. We had the spring roll appetizer and it was two large spring rolls and they were delicious. I had the Thai hot and sour chicken soup (menu item T7) and it was served in a hot bowl with a flame underneath to keep it hot. Very good flavors and the portion was huge. My boyfriend ordered the chicken pad thai noodles and they were also very delicious and also a gigantic portion. We both got to go boxes.

I am fortunate enough to have been rerouted to this dimly lit establishment. My server was excellent and his up due did wonders for his personality!I had my doubts because of a review about bland non authentic food...but it was a business trip and figured my client was starved so I took the chance...again being my second try for dinner I was famished. The prices are blaring of over priced but when my food came it was big enought to feed me for two days...as for bland you just order extra chili oil until it burns your uvula and then you might taste something...I thought the 15$ appetizer was a bit pricy until I tasted those meaty morsels YUM YUM. All in all I recommend if you need deliciousness with no ambiance

Great spot with a lots to choose from on the menu. Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese dishes. The spring rolls and sauce are to die for if you like fresh and unconventional!

I love this place. The lunch special is amazing for a person on a budget. I always have left overs. The staff is always great and friendly when I pop in and they really know the menu. Definitely recommend. Just make sure that you know going in that the building is a little older so some cosmetic things are a bit out of sorts, but the food is worth it!!

Order: Red Curry Report Appearance: It didn't look like red curry, it was a weird candy-apple red. Taste: Very Salty, an sometimes it reminded me of red curry. Truly not red curry. I don't think they used cocoanut milk, now that I think about it. Perhaps that's why it was a weird color. Staff: Guy was friendly, while the Asian owners watched tv behind the counter.that was weird. price: $11, nope not worth it.

The place looks gross and not worth mentioning from the outside, but everything I've eaten there is delicious. I'd been looking for a decent Thai place when I moved down here and my friend introduced me to SaiGon one day for lunch. I've been a customer for over 3 years now. The in-store service isn't stellar or anything, but they're polite and friendly. I usually get take-out or delivery because the atmosphere isn't very appealing (and I'm a homebody anyway). Delivery is on point every time. I recommend the panang curry with chicken if you like spicy or pad woon sen with chicken if you like noodles. Those are my go-to dishes! The portion sizes are huge so I can get 2-3 meals out of one dish.

Be prepared to pay a 20% tip automatically added to your bill whether you like it or not which is kinda unusual for an Asian restaurant.

This place had horrible service and my family and I went on vacation so we stop by this place and once we left and we walk a crossed the street where my dad was getting gas. My brother realize he didn't have his phone and he quickly ran back to get it but IT WASN'T THERE! How could we leave for 10 mins and then it be gone! So he had an iphone so we located it and it was in that restaurant and they still denied it. So she refuse to let us check her waiters and told us to get out we had no RIGHT TO LOOK ANYMORE!

This is my favorite place for takeout or delivery in Conway. I haven't tried a ton of the dishes, but that's only because I love the two I first ordered so much. The Spicy Basil Garlic Chicken is amazing. Again, I can only recommend based on that dish and a couple others, but those have always been great. I also have never dined in, so consider this a recommendation for takeout/delivery. I only count off because of the issues I have seen with order accuracy. When ordering with other people for either work or home, someone has always had an incorrect dish. I think that's unfortunately typical for most restaurants around here, though.

Over priced lame excuse for Asian food. So much stuff on the menu I'm not surprised it tastes as uncultured and basic as it does. Paid less and had 10 time better food; and in Conway no less! Don't waste your money, the food is like mall Asian food with a price tag that makes you think it's elevated. Never throwing my money away with them again... just saying, go somewhere else. Maybe it's a hipster place where people think it's the jewel in the rough I dont know or get why. As for me, my money goes to pay for something better than questionable meat and horrible failed attempt at fried rice. It's a rip off.

My husband and I headed to Conway for a change of scenery recently, and perused through the list of restaurants that were either closed on Sundays, shut-down permanently, or didn't fit our dietary needs. I came across Saigon Cuisine (which I had been wanting to try in Little Rock - unfortunately, they also closed their doors permanently.) They met all of the above requirements, so we decided to try them out. So glad we did! Our waiter was a hard worker, and very cordial. The one negative is that he didn't seem to really understand how to explain the dishes, or make suggestions based on what we were describing. With that being said, I opted for the chicken pad thai (with some extra spice), while my husband tried the thai street noodles (with chicken). He asked that they make his spicy - a 7 on a scale of 1-10. Although the dishes were both delicious (I particularly enjoyed the pad thai), mine was much more spicier than his. His wasn't spicy AT ALL, but was still very flavorful. Both were large portion sizes, and were $8.95 each. A few things to keep in mind - *The menu is LONG! Which is a great thing, as they offer Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese dishes. Just be prepared to be reading through it for a good 5-7 minutes, if not more. *They have happy hour from 3-6, with varying drink specials. Also, they have a pretty large drink list in general. *Lunch specials run from 11-2:30 during the week.

We were traveling and decided to stop in Conway for food. This place had nice reviews and was open on Sunday. However, we weren't sure if the restaurant was even open when we pulled in. All the interior lights were off and the open sign wasn't on. The first thing the server asked was "How can I help you?" I mean don't people usually go to a restaurant to eat? Anyway, onto the food. For starters, the menu is HUGE...(this is not always a good thing). We got the Vietnamese egg rolls for an appetizer and while they looked strange, the taste was good and the sauce was excellent. For lunch, I had the Pad Thai combination (beef, chicken and pork) with a spicy level of 10. What I was served was not Pad Thai. The noodles weren't right (too wide), the sauce was runny with no tamarind, and there was egg. They also put NO spice, not even a little. The server did take the food back and have them add spice, but they added chili paste instead of dried, crushed peppers. With the addition of the spice, it was at least edible. All in all, I gave three stars because the egg rolls and accompanying sauce were great, but the "Thai" was awful. Maybe their Chinese or Vietnamese food is better. I wouldn't go back.

Started the meal with tea - when we poured the first glass, a dead ROACH came out of the tea pot and poured into the cup! Should have left then but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake! Shrimp in the fried rice was not cooked properly - was cold and rubbery and not the color or consistency you would expect of shrimp. Other dishes were ok but overall would not go back here.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
