Due Amichi's finally closed on the other side of town and I was looking for another Italian place in Conway. WOW i was not disappointed. I had the three pasta combo with extra sauce on top and it blew me away. I will be going back to this place again.

My go to meal for Italian. Everything on the menu is delicious! Staff is always kind and the environment is nice and clean. I recommend to anyone!

Was very very good. Garlic bread was awesome, had their White Cheader dill soup and it was fantastic. I decided to try the garlic chicken cheesecake and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Deninatly a must try

Pretty solid Italian, and I like the atmosphere (feels a bit more upscale than most Conway places). I have heard, though, that they don't cook their food onsite, so I wonder about quality.

Delicious food. Average wait on a Friday night. Waiter was nice, but slow. Almost was charged for an extra meal. Double check your tickets!

Have been here 3 times, so far the food has been good and have returned based on this. Service is decent, however, each time I've been here we've had reservations and not seated for 30-45 minute past reserved time. One take out order and sat in their waiting area for 30 minutes past time given to be here to pick up order. Probably wont be back. Come on man!

Great food & greater service. Got in when they opened, treated us as if we were the only customers there even when the house was full, and the house filled up FAST!!

Love it! My husband and I have been several times, and the food is always amazing! Sometimes the server is a bit slow but the food makes up for it.

Decent house salad. Avoid the steak if you don't want well done. Ordered rare plus and got well done on first try and medium plus on second. Low quality meat, lots of gristle. Ordered the NY strip.

I have never been disappointed when I go to the Pasta Grill. I love their lunch specials. My favorite entrée is shrimp and grits or the New York strip. Both are excellent. Get there early if your eating in the evenings because they usually are packed!

  • Cyrilla A.

A Conway favorite!! We always get the chicken carbonara and chicken Alfredo. YUM! If you're ordering take out: tip, don't have to order bread because they'll pack you some already! We've never dined in only because it's a small venue and always packed when we try to go.

Excellent food! Terrible hostess. We left for 10 minutes even though we made a reservation and she gave it to someone else when we got back. Waiter was attentive, and overall would go back for the food.

For the price, not particularly impressed. Had its pros and cons and I'll detail what I thought so bear with me, if you want - Went with my father and my boyfriend. My father was in town to help me move and it was his first time meeting my boyfriend so we wanted somewhere a little nicer since it was a special-ish occasion. My father ordered calamari and cheese bread as appetizers. We all agreed the calamari was average and the cheese bread was severely underwhelming. It was like they cut a loaf in half and melted a swirled cheese stick on top. With our entrées, we all had salads - my boyfriend and I had Ceasar salads and my father had the lemon. The Ceasar wasn't anything exceptional as any Ceasar, but the lemon was pretty amazing! My father even asked for the recipe. The entrées were plated nicely, but lacked in flavor. I had chicken parmigiana with fettuccine alfredo. Why? I don't know, that was definitely my bad. The dish was dull and had very obviously been sitting for some time. I did not mention this to the waiter because I thought I could move past it. I couldn't. My boyfriend had lasagna, which he said wasn't that great but not bad either. Something about the way it was put together with the sauce being mostly on top and not within the layers was unappealing to him. My father's dish was once again the superior dish. He ordered the maple balsamic glazed pork with grits and broccoli (I think it was broccoli, I don't remember). The pork was very tender and flavorful, and the grit cake was as unappealing as you'd expect - though not as unappealing as regular runny grits. As far as atmosphere, it's dimly lit and the booths were uncomfortable wooden benches. We kept getting knocked by the people behind us and I could barely reach the table, however I'm pretty small. It was also kind of cramped and the couples across from us wouldn't stop staring which made for a very strange experience, but that's not the restaurant's fault (LOL). I can't not shout out our server. Our server was fantastic. He was friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. He was able to recommend items and explain dishes we had questions about. He was also very patient when I told him I was kind of bummed about our meal. He said we hadn't ordered their signature pieces, which were much more exciting, and that we might try some other dishes on our next visit. It seemed genuine so we agreed we'd give them another shot in the future. He and my father even had a nice conversation about their similar interests which was fun! All in all, didn't meet my expectations but not so much that I wouldn't give it a second chance or recommend that someone try it themselves. Especially because I'm kind of a food snob from being raised by a classically trained chef in a big foodie city :)

We dine here about 3-4 times a year. I've had several of the pasta dishes, all delicious. Hubby always has Southern Most Pasta, which he loves. We eat about half of our entree, and bring home the rest. That allows us to save room for dessert (and we're not usually dessert people) because they are all made from scratch in house, and they're phenominal! The only one that we've been disappointed with is the canoli, it was okay, but not traditional Italian canoli.

The shrimp and grits plate is amazing and a large portion. The potato egg rolls are a great appetizer.

Portions were perfect for the lunch entree. I ordered the Portabella Alfredo Raviolli and spouse ordered Manicotti. Overall we spent no more for the two of us than we would have had we gone to Chic Fil A or some such fast food establishment. The total for just the two of us was $20. We were too full for dessert, though the white chocolate cheesecake sounded tempting!

It has been a while since I had good italian food. This place takes the cake. Good prices and even better food. The lasagna is the best I've ever had. And they serve awesome garlic bread with marinara sauce before the meal. This is a fabulous lunch place and I would love to try it for dinner too.

It is rare for me to give a perfect score but this place earned it 100%. The food was outstanding and the portions are huge. My wife loved it as did I. The service was fantastic. And the Cannoli was to die for! This just became our new favorite local.

We tried Pasta Grill recently when my husband had an interview candidate in town and we wanted to take her out with colleagues to good food in a relaxing, pleasant environment. We had never been here, but a few people my husband works with suggested it, and we were so pleased! We made a reservation for a Tuesday night in Conway for seven people, and we were glad we did. By 6 p.m. the place was filling up, and when we left after 7 p.m., there were many parties waiting. And we can see why it's popular! The food was DELICIOUS. I had the portabella mushroom ravioli, which came stacked like a beautiful, creamy napoleon. I was halfway through it when I realized it is the kind of food I'll crave in the future. There will be mornings I will wake up and dedicate my day to getting back to Pastra Grill's mushroom ravioli. My husband had the chicken cheesecake. He was intrigued by the idea of a savory cheesecake, which the waitress explained to be like a quiche. The portion was HUGE. But it looked delicious, and he said it was. I had a glass of the Coppola Claret, which was reasonably priced, too. A few in our party had dessert as well, and they looked amazing, a huge piece of chocolate cake and the lemon tart, both of which I hope to try in the future (when I can split them with six or eight friends). The food is delicious, but it is heavy and rich. There were even vegetarian options. There is no caprese salad on the menu (sadness) and they don't have club soda. I can live with these issues. We'll definitely be back, maybe the night before I have a 20-mile long run.

My husband and I have enjoyed several meals here. Their fried ravioli is a great appetizer, huge ravioli stuffed with LOTS of cheese, our waitress recommended these to us on our first visit and she was right - amazing. We have tried a few different pasta dishes, my favorite being the portobello stuffed ravioli and my husbands favorite is the scallops over angel hair pasta...we have never disliked anything we have tried. The wait staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I know some reviewers on here have had a negative experience but I would urge them to give it a second try, it is a fairly new restaurant and I'm sure there are some kinks to work out. But overall it's good food, fair price, and awesome atmosphere.

Great atmosphere. Really great remodeling job. OK staff. Food: Wife ordered the fillet which is their premium $35+ item on the menu. It was uneatable. I questioned if it was even beef. I have never tasted a piece of meat so bad. My dog did eat it when I went home. My spaghetti was not fully cooked. When talking with waitress about this she just said she was sorry and went on her way. We politely left and fed Fido at home having to eat somewhere else that evening. Big wallet hit with bad food. Salad was OK though. Good looking atmosphere though...

Two visits. First was a late lunch. Lasagna for her, fettuccine for me. Fresh baked bread with individual dipping sauce cups. Generous sized portions. Service was acceptable. Second visit was an early dinner. Again, fresh bread and sauce. Again, lasagna for her, Cajun shrimp for me. Absolutely delicious on both. Service was very good. I seldom give five stars but when I can't complain about anything, its "gotta" happen. Will try again. Maybe we can find something to complain about :)

Upon arriving, we were skeptical if they were open, but as we neared the entrance an employee opened the door and welcomed us in. We had arrived right around 6pm, and there was only one other table (a party of women enjoying wine and conversation). We were promptly seated and greeted by our server and drink orders taken. We ordered the fried (cheese) ravioli as a starter, and bread was brought out as well. The ravioli presentation was great, and the taste even better. Fried to perfection, not greasy or an overly cheesy mess. For an entree, I ordered the Cajun or Jambalaya Pasta (can't remember the name), and it was amazing! Penne pasta, a creamy cheese/alfredo sauce with a little spice, chicken, and andouille sausage. I opted to leave the mushrooms out. My partner ordered spaghetti and meat sauce and was pleased. Each meal comes with the choice of salad, but we opted out after such hearty appetizers. The space is small, but the way they've set it up really adds room without patrons being cramped. It's also beautifully and eloquently decorated. We didn't have any beer or wine on this trip, but will next time. I recommend anyone to at least try this out. It's a little pricey, but totally worth every penny!

Very pleasant experience with family. I had the Shrimp and Grits (not something I would normally expect to find at a pasta place), and it was delicious, well portioned, and beautifully presented (though perhaps just a touch on the salty side). Everyone else was very pleased with their meals as well. There were a couple of minor issues that prevent this from being a 5 star experience. The tables were very wobbly, and someone decided to clean the table next to us with a smelly cleaner that did not mix well with the meal.

  • Robert B.

Need to learn to manage their tables a little better. We had a reservation for six at 7:30 one night, were not sat until after 8:00. The mash that I ordered was pretty good, but my wife did not fare as well with spaghetti (a staple that cannot be messed up if your Italian restaurant is to survive). Likewise, our dining partners steaks were all over-cooked. Wine selection is decent, but they had far too many offerings by the bottle and too few by the glass, a mistake in Conway, I think.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
