This is a nice place to stop in and eat. The staff was great and the food good, too. I will say, being from Texas the fajitas were a little on the bland side. All in all, stop in and enjoy your meal.

Sometimes, it is hard to find restrants with real Mexican food that actually tastes good. La Rosita is one if those places. Especially for such a small town like Clinton, La Rosita's food is exceptionally good. Thier service is great and they serve you chips before you order so you can enjoy yourself even before you get the main course. This place is one of the best restrants for Mexican food.

Food was burned and greasy. The waitress did not speak English, food was overpriced and mediocre, overall a horrible dining experience. We will not be back.

On our way to Branson we stopped off to grab a bite and stretch our legs. My family are lovers of Mexican food (or mexilious as we call it) and La Rositas did not disappoint. It was cheesy, beany and flavorful. The tortillas were fabulous! I only gave it 4 stars because it wasn't the very best Mexican food I've ever had but it was delicious!

Our family frequents this delightful restaurant with regularity. The food is pretty standard fare, but the service has always been excellent. The staff is friendly and food is prepared quickly, which we find very appealing for our restless children. They have a few very large tables which accommodate large parties well. We enjoy the fresh salsa, and the tacos de carne asada is probably the best I've had. Prices are good, and the all-you-can eat lunch special is an excellent deal. I have had better Mexican food at a couple places, which is the only thing holding back a 5-star rating from this great eatery.

My Husband and I ate here tonight. I had the chimichanga and my husband had tacos and an enchilada. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was prepared quickly and it was delicious.

Staying in Clinton for the 4th. The outside can kinda throw you a bit, inside is very bright...rwminds of Casa Bonita in Denver. Stayed pretty busy while we ate. The service is outstanding. The salsa is also very good and fresh. Chips are subjective....I prefer a light crisp chip but the fam digs the crunchy heavu chips! The beef in the Chimichanga was very tender. Not my favo ever...bit definitely not the worst hy far. Tamales where a bit bland...but I figure hey it is the middle of the Ozarks!

This restaurant has typical Mexican American food but its good quality stuff. I had the carnitas, mom had the beef fajitas. The service is what i liked best. I used to visit another restaurant and the manager here worked there. He came over to ask us how our dinner was and recognized me from seven years ago. Of course i thought i was sneaking out for a bite after having worked in my yard alll day. Ramon (mgr) was too nice to say anything about my dirty fingernails and smell of sweat. Ha! His recognition and casual conversation made me feel like we were having dinner with friends. Thanks guys.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
