My husband and I decided to eat here after reading the reviews. I was hoping for a decent hole-in-the wall restaurant. It wasn't. The food wasn't bad...it just wasn't good either. I ordered the much talked about chili burger with the cheese and bacon fries. The fries were old, the cheese was just regular shredded with salad like bacon bits on top. My burger was mostly bun, not much meat, but the meat that I did have had a lot of grissle. We decided we won't go back and we don't recommend this place.

All I have to say is: It tastes like Sonic. So, pretty good. Reasonably priced. Except for drinks. Okay service, could've been better. All in all. I liked it.

It's fine food. Nothing spectacular except the fried pie is pretty awesome. Reminds me of the old style McDonalds pies (when they fried them).

Ron's is a great burger place. I would recommend the sausage cheeseburger. Yes, I know, sounds odd-sausage and and beef but it quite good, especially loaded with fried onions. I'm not crazy about the chili although many swear by it. I would rather chow on some bacon cheese fries-get the small fries no matter how you like them. Its enough for two! The only downside? Bring back the cold bottled beer!

I was lured to Ron's with a coupon and I'm glad I went. The jumbo burger is a nice size and very delicious. Onion rings come in a decent sized portion and the medium chili with beans and onions really hit the spot. All three items are very moderately priced and an excellent value. There are a lot of things on the menu I'm anxious to try. They almost earned an A+. Now the bad stuff. The staff was two very unenthusiastic waitresses. Service wasn't bad but I'd hate to be there if their load exceeded five people at once. I had the Root Beer served in an ice cold mug. It was full of ice. The reason for a cold mug is to avoid diluting the Root Beer with ice. Last, the burger was cut in half. No one has cut my sandwich in half since I persuaded my dearly departed mother that I could handle a whole sandwich on my own. Who ever thought cutting burgers in half was a good idea?

My kids have now discovered the cheese fries, chicken bites and the hamburgers. Hasn't been too crowded when we have gone in for dinner, but at lunch time it is usually standing room only. I love the chicken bites (real chicken) and the cheese fries. Another nice benefit is the drinks are large and they have large to go cups. I hate going somewhere and paying $2 for a drink and you get a shot glass for a to go cup.

Best chicken in town, although I'm disappointed they don't serve it with cream gravy anymore. Spanish fries are outstanding and if you add cheese, they can almost be a meal by themselves. If you are in the mood for a burger, I recommend the Ron's Special.

HELL to the YEAH! Stopped here while on a motorcycle ride in the area and stopped on a whim. Worth it! The service was sweet as could be and the food was FANTASTIC. Received my burger covered in chilli and thought it was ridiculous until I cut into it and WOW! Stop, you can thank me later!

Came here last night. It is in a little strip mall. Basic good ole diner. I was surprised to see that they offered a Veggie Burger on the menu. I eat mainly vegetarian, so this was great! It was a pretty good burger with grilled onions and added jalapenos. I also ordered the Spanish Fries. I was expecting the fries to have a different flavor, but they were normal fries. The difference however was that they added in fried jalapenos and onions - which were very yummy! My husband had the Ron's special and liked it. He also had the cheese tots. My daughter had the kids chicken and fries - she liked it as well. The waitresses were very nice and helpful. Overall, good experience.

Not a bad place. Reminds me of a family owned hole in the wall in a good way. The chilli is great and the burgers have a good flavor

Definitely my favorite. Burgers are oh so good. Half ground beef and half breakfast sausage? Oh yea. And the chili is quite good. If you can get past the ambience, you will have a good burger.

Went there last night. The inside has an unusual feel, not bad just different. Basically a square room with a square hole that overlooks the kitchen. Very casual atmosphere. The food? Burger was juicy and flavorful. I ordered the chili cheese fries and onion rings as sides. Got a very large order of rings - enough for 2 people. The fries were not crispy and not because of the chili (I got that on the side to pour over the fries). The fries were soggy with grease. I would probably go back if I found myself hungry and in the area but at almost $20 you can go to Red Robin and have a better meal. I would put the burger on par with 5 Guys, but the fries...no.

Always looking for great burgers. The burgers remind me of the gresy burgers my grandmother used to make - delicious and juicy. What really blew me away was the Chili and cheese tater tots! I honestly think I've could of ate my weight in those! Fantastic Chili, and the tots were cooked perfectly. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! Can't wait to go again.

My first visit... food wasn't bad but not great either. Had the sausage burger, half n half beef n sausage. Tasted good but the bun was soaked in grease and melted cheese so was messy to hold together even for a small burger and the first bite was a huge glob of melted American cheese, almost choked. Wasn't impressed and could have eaten a huge burger with endless fries at Red Robin for the same price. My only reason to go back for me will be my fiance... he really enjoyed his chili cheese burger.

Good Greasy Burgers. If you really want to know what is best here, order the Spanish Fries with chili and cheese on top

Sometimes I want a cook and not a chef making my food. This restaurant is great place to go when you want simple amazing food. This restaurant doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. It is filling, affordable, fast, and delicious. I have eaten at some of the highest rated restaurants in the world but that isn't always what you want, sometimes you want this and you want this done right. Ron's did it right. I had the sausage chili cheeseburger and the bacon cheese fries. I was 100% satisfied and 110% full. The server was friendly and the food came fast. Ron's delivered completely on what I hoped for and I will go again for sure if I am back in town. P.S. I have lived in Los Angeles for a decade and the In and Out Burger hype has never lived up to its billing. If they think that place is amazing Ron's would blow their minds...and their skinny waist lines.

I love Ron's. The only thing, is they can't seem to co-ordinate the fries and the burgers. You get them at different times.

Hubby wanted to try this place - he'd read good reviews. Burgers just OK - nothing special. You can get a WAY better burger at The Station on the Bentonville square. Son had popcorn chicken basket - chicken tasteless. Dipping in ranch makes it almost OK. Cheese fries - nothing special. Chili tastes like Sonic's chili - so pretty good. Girls working there were really nice - but forgot a request we made and overall slow service. Not a bad place to grab a bite - but not good either.

I found it to be very greasy and the service wasn't very good. I wasn't impressed and probably won't be back. The only positive thing was the rootbeer was pretty good.

Good cheap food. But most of it will raise your cholesterol or give you heartburn if you aren't careful.

Chili, fries, burgers, desserts...it's all good at Ron's. They still serve Root Beer in an ice cold Mug and the Sausage Cheeseburger is fantastic. I was reluctant to try it at first, but I was hooked after the first bite. I've been to two different locations (many times to each) and I've never had a bad meal. For a good lunch or dinner eat at Ron's.
