Love her service and the variety of the menu. Panera Bread always seems to impress me - from the customer service to the cleanliness and quickness of food- will be back!!!!!

Panera Bread's bread isn't really that tasty, or their sandwiches that filling. They have a health-conscious image, but the standard issue side item is a bag of potato chips (and not the baked ones, either). I guess their pastries are phenomenal, because the bagels and sandwiches aren't. The only reason I eat there at all is the proximity to Barnes & Noble. Apparently my opinion is the distinct minority since this place is the yuppie and undergrad mecca.

Awful. Just awful. We did the order through the app which was great and easy; however, the problem arises when we went to pick it up. It took much longer than the time we were quoted. Although the staff knew I was waiting the just went and put it on a pick up rack. In the bag they just threw the bread bowl and baguette in the bag. No baggy no napkin just tossed in the bag. While eating the sandwich we got was the Angus Roast Beef and it was prepped horribly. Instead of slicing the meat they just hacked off two odd pieces and stuck them in. The sandwich was wrapped in a napkin and tossed in two. My boyfriend got the quinoa broth bowl and it was so salty. I love this chain but I will never go back to this location.

I've had good service at this Panera every time I have gone. It's also a great place to go and study or meet with a small group. The only star lost is just the semi overpriced nature of Panera as a whole. I do like the ability to order online and pick it up in stores with no hassle as well.

The Panera chain is one of my favorites. This location was the worse I've been to. They were out of soup bread bowls. My soup came lukewarm. My turkey & cheese panini had grease dripping on my plate-disgusting. Bacon wasn't fully cooked on the sandwich. And there was so much sauce it was leaking through the bread & overpowering the taste. The apple was past it's prime.

Great healthy breakfast options but a bit of a wait in the morning. Three people in line just left and said they were going to Chik-fil-A right around the corner. This is the third time I have been here and they weren't adequately staffed. I don't see a manager anywhere and I'm probably going to be late for work. Ugh

This is a great spot in Midtown Village to take a break from shopping and get a delicious pastry, coffee or bread bowl of soup to help you catch your second wind. The bagels--cut, toasted and cream cheesed to order--are quite good, and I'm a huge fan of the sourdough bread bowls. There is plenty of seating inside for parties up to four, after that you have to get a little creative with the tables and booths to find everyone a seat. There is a little patio area outside, too.

It's hard to go wrong with panera, but the staff here is really great. They are always throwing in extras and in a great mood.

Well I can safely say this Panera Bread location will never get my business again! If you read my earlier review, you'll probably understand why. Well I decided to give them another chance and...yep they did it again! Hubby goes in for a to-go order and when he orders dishes that had chicken in it, they were out of the chicken. Now this time he came in at around 11:30 am which is before the weekday lunch crowd comes in so we thought we had it good this time. But no they were out of something, as usual, so he told them he was "going somewhere else" and left. After he called me on the cell phone to let me know I promptly called customer service as I had done so in the past and had to tell my story again about how the workers obviously don't know what they're doing, they need new management and they need workers that want to work. I mean it's pretty obvious by now that something is off with this place so I've had it. If I ever choose to eat at Panera Bread again it will have to be one of the Birmingham locations or somewhere else. Avoid the Tuscaloosa location!

NOT AT ALL what I expected, but better. I had been seeing this Strawberry Chicken Salad advertised on TV and it had stuck with me. I didn't even realize Tuscaloosa had a Panera Bread but My Love and I happened to pass by and I saw it the other day on our way to Home Depot and I knew instantly I was going to go get that salad. It was close to being the BEST salad I ever had. Freshly made when I ordered it with plenty of crisp, dark greens (I gotta have my greens), hearts of romaine, blueberries, pineapple, mandarin oranges and the sweetest poppyseed dressing. I got a piece of Cinnimon Crumb Cake for dessert and it was melt in my mouth delicious. Service was fast, polite and the atmosphere was very posh. I will definitely be making this one of my regular places to eat in Tuscaloosa.

Awesome service. The baguettes were especially soft and delicious. Everything on the menu was available and fresh. The lemonade was outstanding and the roasted tomato and feta soufflé was the best I've had. Everything from the atmosphere to the high quality of straws used for our drinks were exceptional.

The clerk was friendly, but the rest of the staff was terrible. Ordered something for dine-in, after waiting 15 minutes, received food in to-go containers. Explaining that we ordered for dine-in was met with looks of confusion from the staff. Also ordered an iced coffee, was not told that they were out of the roast they use for it until I encountered a very grumpy off-duty employee; who then said I had to go prepare it all myself. If you want cold coffee from this place it's worth to walk to either of the Starbucks locations across the parking lot.

This place has great coffee, terrific food choices, and friendly, well-trained employees. There is always plenty of seating indoor and out. We never feel rushed. And.....there's free wi-fi!
