Our server was AMAZING!! We had a party of 8 and asked for a lot but he seemed happy to bring us anything we needed.

Pretty bad, especially as IHOPs go. I had to make a late night stop in Tuscaloosa after attending a funeral in MS, so this IHOP was the only restaurant open near me (other than fast food and Waffle House). Probably should have stuck with tried and true Waffle House, but live and learn. The service was very so-so, and the food was even more so-so. No one was rude or anything, but I got a general sense of "I really don't want to be bothered with you." No matter; I got something in my stomach which was what I needed and it wasn't horrible. Like the two-star rating indicates - Meh, I've experienced better.

Please read the other Skyland Blvd reviews for this same restaurant, appears they've spun up two locations to perhaps hide bad reviews.

This place is good for when you have the late night munchies. I have ordered there Monster Cheeseburger at 12am before and it was GOOD. Also good for if you are traveling and need a bite to eat super super early in the morning. The waffles are extremely over priced so just stick to pancakes. Stay away from the chicken tenders because they are extremely small and over seasoned.

THIS IS THE ACTUAL ADDRESS! 724 Skyland Blvd Tuscaloosa, AL 35405-3931 United States I spent 20minutes trying to find this IHOP because it doesn't have the street # Hope this helps some people. Didn't actually get to go but I'm sure this IHOP is great.

If your preference is "Quantity over Quality" IHOP just might be a good choice...well, not really cause there are AYCE breakfast buffet places where one can have endless portions of breakfast fare that is better than what you get at IHOP. They do a nice job of dressing the plates so that the food is presented well when it comes out of the kitchen. but, that is about it. overpriced, under quality, not impressive. Now I remember why we NEVER go to IHOP.

I had breakfast at this location this morning and it was a better than average experience. The service was great, bathroom clean, staff was friendly, and the food was on point. Though it was crowded, it didn't take long to get served....FOUR STARS!!!

For late nights or late mornings after late nights, I find IHOP to be a little classier than Waffle House to quell late-night munchies (keep in mind the relative "classier" scale being used here: Waffle House and IHOP). The plates are generally huge, piled with moderately good pancakes, any of sundry toppings, and accompanied by breakfast meats and eggs, if that's how you roll in the [morning]. Overall the place is fairly clean and not especially sketchy. With a little finagling, groups 6-8+ can be accomodated. Parking on Saturday morning gets pretty tough to find, but the restaurant next door (a Lonestar, maybe?) doesn't open until later in the day, so its lot may be used for convenience.

My experience here can be summed up in a few words: When you overhear a waitress saying "It's still the 30 second rule!" not too far from the kitchen, it's best to just leave.

Took 30 min to get order for 3. Not crowded. Salad was wilted & turning brown. ( Didn't get salad at first.) Didn't get topping on entrè. Refills not offered. Waiter hopefully was new. He didn't listen to a request for more to drink.

I have been to several ihops, this is one I would have liked to skipped. Food was decent but I should have known the experience was going to be bad when they force you to prepay your food after 10pm at night. The atmosphere brings you to a Flint/Detroit style vibe. The Police officer kept me feeling as if I would not die at this location but at the same time making me feel that the Prison system has decent food. Oh the things I do for stuffed French toast and hash browns.

Went here late night with some friends. It smelled like cat pee.. The place was nearly empty and they seated us RIGHT NEXT to a nasty older couple who were making out. Our waitress seemed depressed and uninterested. Our food made us all feel sick. I've definitely had better iHOP before.. not here.
