The good: The atmosphere is pretty cool. It's Tuscaloosa's only rooftop bar, and on a pleasant evening it's nice to spend time outside with a great view of The Strip, Bryant-Denny Stadium, and other Tuscaloosa landmarks. The bad: You have to go downstairs for food. Not a big deal, but one would think that having a runner to bring food up wouldn't be that much of a challenge. Depending on when you go, you may also run into a sizable college crowd. Maybe that's your thing, but even outside it can quickly get loud and crowded. If you're looking for a semi-quiet night out with friends, keep looking. The ugly: Admittedly I've only been once, but the bartender seemed a bit incompetent. I started by asking for a gimlet, and while it's probably not the drink of choice for the college crowd I was told they "didn't have it". Either the bartender wasn't worth his salt, or they actually didn't have gin and Rosie's. Either way, it was a bit of a turnoff. Bottom line: If you're looking for a party and are content with beer or a more popular cocktail, you'll be right at home. If you want quiet or have a more refined palate, maybe keep looking.

The upstairs deck is 2nd to none - since there aren't any other rooftop bars in Tuscaloosa. In college it was a great place to drink, fraternize, make a fool of yourself, find a woman, and give people high-fives. Went back last weekend for the Tennessee game - Funny how none of the above listed activities have changed one bit. Roll Tide.

Decent food, though a little overpriced. Drinks are great, good bartenders, always a good time. Sitting on the patio listening to live music at night during the summertime can't be beat. I always have fun here.

When it's warm outside, this is a great bar--upstairs deck overlooking The Strip. Not a bad bar inside either. Food is okay. Don't bother with the hamburgers, but the appetizers and other entrees are good.
