Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

If you are a diabetic, you should also avoid Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich and Whataburger Patty Melt at Whataburger. Chicken Fajita Taco is also off-limits for diabetics. High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. You should also avoid Avocado Bacon Burger and Monterey Melt as both these burgers contain a high amount of fat. Sweat & Spicy Bacon Burger will add extra 1080 calories in your diet so skip that as well. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

I've been away from Texas for 2 weeks, and after shopping, needed some sustenance, and saw that orange "W". Ahhhhh.... Was ready for some of that spicy ketchup! Used the drive-thru, so not sure of service or facilities inside. I stopped by around 12:45, so the line was long, but moving. Got the patty-melt. Nom-nom. Whataburger is my favorite burger joint, so I'm happy to see one close enough for when I have a hankering for some amazing fries, but far enough to (hopefully) save a few calories ;)

Very good food. Got my favorite #12 chicken fajitas soft taco with spicy ketchup. I rarely eat fast food but they cook to order here and it is always fresh. My honey always gets the double meat double cheeses. It was really good. Note, since it is cook to order it is not your typical wait. It takes a little longer but the quality is outstanding. Try the pancakes, taste like homemade. Not bad for fast food done right!

I drove 20 miles out of my way to stop here and have one last Whataburger before heading home to Chicago, land of no Whataburger. As always, it was worth the stop. Hot, fresh, and made to order.

Although I find it humorous that they call this "fast food," I really love whataburger. Their food is made to order, hence the wait. It is always fresh and hot, and I love that they toast their buns! I always get the bacon burger. I've never had anything other than burgers, but honestly, why would you? They are awesome! A little heavy on the onions unless you tell them to go light, but that's hardly a huge problem. Their spicy ketchup is awesome, too!

Drove 2 hrs. for what what I call fast food perfection. I had the Monterey melt hamburger. It was simply magnificent. The blend of peppers and cheese were a match made in heaven. Two all beef patties wonderfully cooked on toasted buns. Simply awesome. The service we received was exemplary. Overall experience was great. Totally worth the trip. My wife and me had a bet about the trip being worth it. She totally won and I'll be glad to pay with another trip later.

The absolute best fast food in Trussville! This is the cleanest, friendliest, best quality fast food place I have ever been to. I frequent this hidden gem adjacent to Sams Club weekly. In all of my visits here I have never experienced 1. bad service 2. Incorrect order 3. Bad food 4. Unclean facilities 5. long lines 6. Cold food For fans of chicken strips and gravy, sonic no longer offers it. Dairy Queen is the only other place I can get white gravy with my strips, and they are decent. Open 24 hours a day... What's so great about that? They have a full menu in the morning! If I want a burger at 6AM, I will get one. And they make it fresh! Sure chick fil a is across the street and offers similar customer service and quality, but they are always packed, closed on Sunday, and closed at night. The chicken strips are always soggy and not southern fried at all. Do yourself a favor, check out Whataburger in Trussville, I can not find one single negative thing to say about this spot. It's a bit pricier than McDonalds, but you get what you pay for and Ronald's molestation palace is garbage. If you had a bad experience at a more "urban" Whataburger, remember that Whataburgers are not all created equally. Anne Marie will get your order right the first time. Need to sober up at 2am Saturday morning? Come enjoy the full menu, party with us, and give your keys up!

Texans on the road. Got a hankering for Whataburger! What a find, right off I-59, just a bit north of B'ham. Place is super clean. Efficient and friendly service. Stop in for a small slice of Texas!

The food is always good, cooked to order. However, they are not giving the correct $10 groupon credit. They are charging tax twice. The registers appear to be programmed so that the one only gets $9.28 credit regardless. And then they charge tax on top of the order. So they are charging tax twice. The manager was at both trussville & centerpoint when I went in and the same thing happened. I tried to contact the local office by calling the texas headquarters but they refused the office number. So I called alabaster just because I thought getting the office number would be easy. They said they would call me back. That was a half hour ago. Im still waiting. Finally, I reported the problem to the whatburger corporate website. I understand its a programming issue but nevertheless the customer is being gyped.

Whataburger - savior to the late-night eater in the Trussville area, because it's one of the few non-Krystals places to eat that's still open in the wee hours of the morning, and the food doesn't frighten you regarding what you might physically feel like the next day as a result of eating it (I'm looking at you, "Small-Hot-Square"). The place is lit up like Zoo Light Safari during Christmas-time, and is probably that way to help guide planes in from out-of-town back to the Birmingham area... and of course hungry patrons that are trying desperately to avoid having to go get gutbusters from said Krystals establishments. (Don't get me wrong - there's a time and place for the square magic - just not all the time...) Burgers, chicken sandwiches, breakfast foods, cinnamon rolls - all good and all available late night @ Whataburger. Being a nite-owl, the big W has been a godsend for me on numerous occasion; I'd imagine if you're in the same boat, it will be the same for you. And I'd even wager the food's just as good when the sun's still out. :)

Yeah yeah, this is a fast food place... and a chain restaurant at that, but it's WHATABURGER! If you read my reviews with any regularity at all, you know I am a huge fan of Whataburger! It's almost always my first stop when I travel to Texas... it doesn't matter if it's lunch or dinner! I was so excited to learn that there is a Whataburger here. We don't have them in my hometown of Chattanooga, so of course I had to convince Girlfriend to stop here for lunch. I was not disappointed. That big, beautiful Whataburger on that big, beautiful bun just put me in heaven. And those french fries never tasted so good drowned in ketchup, just how I like them. This location is clean, well-lit and the employees were quick and friendly... just how I like my Whataburger. If you're on the fence about coming here, stop WAFFLING and just go get a Whataburger already. Yes, I am fan!
