I was served the absolute coldest Negra Modelo beer on earth! The service was impeccable and friendly beyond experience. I ordered the Carne Asada, and while the meat wasn't quite as thinly sliced as it should have been, it did not lack flavor. The portions were huge and rice, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, and salsa were awesome. The meal was served with 3 warm and soft tortillas and the meat was nicely topped with a grilled fresh jalapeño. All in all, a great meal with ice cold beer and friendly prompt service!

Very good restaurant, my husband and I really like this place. I recently had the blackberry margarita, it was delicious and of course the food was too!

Pretty good Mexican food. Close to a couple hotels and well worth the walk to grab a beer and some food. The salsa is flavorful but not spicy at all. I think a little pricy for the amount of food you get.

Not a bad Mexican restaurant! Great service, and great prices. It's a little bit of a weird place (behind a strip mall on the back side -- you can't easily see it from the main road), but it's worth the look. They have probably the best margaritas and fried chicken flautas in town!

Tried a little of everything on the menu and haven't been disappointed yet. They always have specials but never anything too impressive. Alcohol specials are generally always the same. Service isn't always the best, but it's not terrible.

The perfect spot for drunk college students who cannot determine the difference between roadkill and actual beef or chicken.

Very good food and fantastic service. They even have the same week day lunch specials on the weekend.

A pleasant surprise! I strayed from the typical fare and tried the house special Pina Loca. Chicken, shrimp, scallops in chipotle sauce with onions and peppers served in a fresh pineapple half! Outstanding! Service was fast, guacamole was good, margaritas were strong!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
