Although we usually get really good food at this location and the health rating is also usually pretty high, I can't give a good review to a place that is RUDE to people, especially women. Our office was ordering out (approximately 10 sandwiches, chips, drinks, etc.) and the manager on duty informed our Office Manager that he "was NOT going to hold up the line for her large order and that SHE would have to step out of line because the other people in line were MORE IMPORTANT than her big order". He then proceeded to embarass her simply because her (our) order was going to cause his little assembly line some grief, which, I might point out, should be FULLY CAPABLE OF HANDLING A LARGE ORDER DURING LUNCH HOURS IF MANAGED PROPERLY and STAFFED WITH COMPETENT EMPLOYEES. One person with 10 orders is apparently not equivalent to ten people with one order. The truly sad part is that all was required was simply to step in and help the "sandwich technicians" complete the order. There was no need to embarass anyone. Unfortunately, this manager was apparently only marginally capable of managing to find his way to work, much less doing his job. His skills in mathematics and customer service appear to be particularly deficient. Since he was so rude, my only desire is that the franchise owner sees this review and has some very difficult to answer questions for him, alhough I suspect it is a relative. Women may not be respected in his country of origin, but in Sylacauga, Alabama there is an expectation of professionlism and courtesy that is required for continued patronage. You will not receive any further business from my company or from anyone in my sphere of influence. Enjoy your negative review!
