I had the Calzone and it was delicious. Server was friendly and restaurant was very clean. Only thing is each topping is about $1.79 so it can get really pricey.

It's your standard Mellow Mushroom. Good pizza, and a great craft beer selection. In Elmore/Autauga Counties, Mellow is really the best option for craft beer selection. Expect to wait on the weekends, and the parking lot fills rather quickly. However, never had an issue on weekdays.

I came here with a large group of people. When we called to make a reservation they said they were not sure if the could seat us because they were busy. When we got there the place looked super busy from the outside, but the inside was relatively empty. When we all got seated the service was just average. The guy took forever to take our drink orders. Our drinks did show fairly fast after ordering. Though when it came to ordering food he took forever again. The time it took for us to receive our pizzas took forever as well. All the pizzas we ordered did not come out at the same time as well. This meant people did not get to eat at the same time being we almost all of us got personal pizzas. I got the Bayou Blue pizza which had way to much cheese and made a big mess. One of the guys in the group asked for tomato sauce on the side two or three times because the waiter forgot. There seemed to be many other people complaining about the service they received as well. I know this because they were very loud about it. There did seem to be a lot of people working in the kitchen being that it was open for you to see, but not enough people serving. My overall impression of this place is just average. The pizza was just ok for me and the service is very slow. They need to pick up there game. I would be willing to come back here in a smaller group to see if my experience is any different.

This place was great when it started out. I'm not sure if it went under new management or what but it's no where near as good as it used to be. Not really sure I'll be going back.

I've tried about 5 different pizzas in the last weeks at this place and each one was delicious in their own right. You just can't go wrong here. OUTSTANDING selection of craft beers and a nice selection of rotating drafts. If you really want pizza, you have to want you some Mellow Mushroom. Tuesday kids eat free and 10% military discount.

Great service and cool local vibe for a chain. 12 rotating craft beers on tap. Daily happy hour from 2-6 p.m.!The food scene is Prattville is underwhelming so this will be a go to place..

This was my first visit to the Mellow Mushroom. I was in town ( all the way from Maryland) visiting my sister, and she thought it might be a place I'd like. Right off the beginning everything was wonderful. The hostess was really nice and seated us quickly. The pizza... Wow. It was pretty wonderful. The crust was soft, with a bit of a crisp, and tasted so fresh. Melt in your mouth good. The waitresses were super sweet and attentive. I know for sure, I will be back here. Loved it loved it!

Good service and pretty good food. Wide selection so you can have pizza or a salad it a sandwich and you can count on whatever you order being pretty good. Also a good place to take kids. It can be a little bit if a pain to get in and out of because it is in the parking lot of a shopping center with no direct access on or out from the main road but that is the only drawback. People there are always friendly, especially to kids

Stopped in here by myself from out of town (from Atlanta) on a Saturday night and had a try at a couple of the craft beers from an impressive selection. Also had the Hummus that was average and a House Special pizza that was on par with what I've come to expect from the Mellow Mushroom chain (fresh, hand-tossed, authentic). Certainly, one of the more spacious Mellow Mushroom restaurants I've been in. The staff was genuine and super friendly. The service was efficient. And even had a little live music by a young lady performing mostly bluesy acoustic versions of popular contemporary rock, pop, and country songs. Good Experience and I'd probably come back in if I find myself in town again.

I ordered 2 full sized hoagies to go, a steak and cheese and spiked sausage. Both looked good, bit messy and not presented very well above chips in same container that were soggy from the steam off the sandwiches. I tasted both so I could write the review, but just ate one half of the spiked sausage, it was zesty but was wishing for some wet condiments because who likes a dry sandwich? I had a WSFA $20 for $10 voucher and they seemed to not skimp on quality because of coupon and each half had slice of tomato and lettuce, I am glad I had coupon. I would go back if there was a special, but not full retail.

Great beers on tap. The Step hold is my favorite. Love the options for creating your own pizza!

Cravings for a good pizza are the staples of the human psyche. And what makes the pizza here good is the dough. Hot and buttery with some remnants of... yes... cinnamon! This place is pretty popular. They seem to have every kind of beer. Came here twice and each time the pizza was good but it's also kind of pricey. At over $20 for a medium pizza, it damn well better be good. Expect to be stuffed and overcharged while cringing at the mostly obese clientele, with a sinking feeling in the pit of your pizza dough beer filled stomach that someday in the near future, this too could be you.

I personally thought the crust was great. My wife and I both love a crunchy, not burnt crust. I got the meat pizza. Thought my toppings were like a frozen pizza. My wife had a veggie pizza and really liked the toppings. I would go back if she wanted to go again. Service was good. Friendly staff. I read reviews critical of the staff but I didn't see that. In fact I will say some people may come back because of it.

Food was really good, pesto was excellent on the pizza and closest style of Mediterranean pizza I've had in years. Kinda pricey but not to bad.

The beer selection is amazing and the pizza is my favorite in the prattville/montgomery area. The crust has parm cheese on it and is super good. I always want to go here, much to thr delight of the bf

This location offers lots of room for friends to get together, including a private area in the back. Their patio is nice too; overall, a clean, fresh atmosphere. Great pizzas, and their vast beer selection should satisfy the connoisseurs. Perfect for lunch and dinner!

Yum for the Greek salad...the Lil salad is plenty big and could be an entire meal. We had the Mediterranean pizza that was absolutely delicious! We went on a Saturday evening and to our surprise there was a solo guitarist performing. Great environment and food. The service was great and all were very attentive.

We went to Mellow Mushroom for dinner on a Wednesday night. 3 adults 2 kids. We were promptly seated and served. Waitress was extremely efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is great.. very laid back. We got to sit and watch the guys toss the pizza, which was great entertainment for the kids. We heard their pretzel appetizer was amazing so we ordered 2 full orders (6 pretzels in each order). They were HUGE so one order would have been plenty. The pretzels were to die for.. hot, soft, not too salty. My kids ate almost 2 a piece. My mom ordered a calzone which she said was great. My kids split a cheese pizza and they LOVED it. My dad and I split a mushroom pizza. The crust was a little well done for my taste, but I assume that was a fluke since the kids' cheese pizza was perfect. The crust is more of a wheat maybe, definitely not a traditional white. It was really good. We stuffed ourselves, all had sodas, and had TONS of leftovers and the bill was only $60. We will definitely go back.. and probably on Tuesday when kids eat free =)
