It's my favorite place to get chicken salad ever. There is no place that will give you more than 10 different flavors of chicken salad incase if plain wasn't enough for you. Going back to eat regular chicken salad is difficult because I'm so used to having nuts, fruits, and other zesty flavors in mine. The service and restaurant are nice. Good thing about ordering is that you don't have to wait more than a few minutes. They seemed to get the hint that it only takes a second to dump this hearty scoop of fat onto a piece of bread, and you're on your way. The creepy thing about all their products is that the longer you store it in your fridge for, the tastier it becomes the following day.

Ok let me just say that I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I am an extremely picky eater & I NEVER eat chicken salad outside of my kitchen. However my mom wanted to try it. I decided to go with her & I'm glad I did!! She ordered the classic carol (basic chicken salad). Let me just take a second & say that this chicken salad must have been prepared by angels!! It was THAT good!!! Very very basic chicken salad and it was just very delicious!! Moms meal (the thrifty chick) came with one scoop of chicken salad, crackers, chips & a cookie. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but well worth it!! Now, I had ordered a turkey sandwich. It was okay. A little too much bread & the turkey wasn't the best in the world, but it was a decent sandwich. Lastly, the staff was very friendly. The cashier offered to give me samples of any type of chicken salad ( there are TONS of options!!). The waitresses were very friendly as well! The family that sat behind us (we sat outside) waited about 5-10 mins for their food. When the waitress brought me & my mom our food she said: "Y'all have been waiting a while. I'll go see if your food is ready." Less than 5 minutes later she returned with their food. I was very impressed with this place (decor, service, quality, etc.) & can't wait to go back!!!

I went there for the first time today with a group from work. I understand that this is a franchise that began in (gasp!) Auburn, AL. They have 15 different kinds of chicken salad ranging from fruity to spicy to the Classic Carol, a no-frills, basic chicken salad. They also have a few deli sandwiches for dining companions who are not chicken salad eaters. The restaurant is in the shopping center next to Winn Dixie, behind Applebee's. The dining area is cute but a little noisy. They also have 2 tables outside. You order your food at the counter, get your own drink and are served your meal at the table. They had a large table for 6 so we didn't have to push tables together for our group which is nice. They will give you a sample of anything but I ordered the Chick Trio which allows your choice of a combination any three chicken salads and side items. It comes with a handful of packets of wheat crackers and a pickle spear. I ordered the Fruity Fran (apples, grapes, pecans), the Sassy Scotty (ranch, bacon, cheddar cheese) and the pimento cheese. You get a good-sized scoop of each which I found to be a little too much food for lunch. I enjoyed each of the chicken salads. The Fancy Nancy is sweet and has just enough apples to be crunchy and whole grapes. I've had chicken salads like this before and really enjoy them. I went out on a limb with the Sassy Scotty and was happy that I did. It is not what you expect from a chicken salad. It's more savory than the Fancy Nancy. It's bacon-y and has a little bit of a spicy kick with definite chunks of bacon and cheese in it. I also got the Pimento cheese which I really liked. Cheesy, a little kick, not too much mayo. Just the way I like it. The unsweet tea is good also - brewed and fresh. My co-workers ordered and liked the Classic Carol, Cranberry Kelli (dried cranberries & almonds), Buffalo Barclay (kinda like chicken wings made into chicken salad), and Fruity Fran which is the Fancy Nancy with no nuts. Their only complaints was lack of chip and cracker choices. The chips are Mrs. Vickie's Kettle chips which they say are "too crunchy" and you cannot get plain club crackers. They also have a cookie of the day. Today it was a chocolate chip cookie which I was told was "moist and chewy." I will definitely go back again. I will probably order a Original Chick which is a sandwich or one scoop of salad with a side and pickle spear with a cookie since 3 scoops of chicken salad is a little too much of a good thing.

What a great little find! Cute little cafe tucked away in a shopping center. It's literally just chicken salad and a few deli sandwiches, but they do it well! There are 10+ types of chicken salad, and the trio plate I tried was great! Don't be afraid of the buffalo chicken one...it's not as spicy as it sounds :)

This is the best chicken salad I've ever had! Generous serving on the sandwich-the bread was very fresh! No complaints from this picky eater.. A little pricey but well worth it!!

The best chicken salad ever. We split the Trio--the Classic Carol, Fruity Fran, and Fancy Nancy. All fresh and delicious. Wish we lived closer so that I could dine here more often.

Friendly service and they always offer a sample if you can't decide. My favorite is the take home tubs. So convenient after a long day at work.
