One of my worst dining experiences ever. With a group of six, dinner took two and a half hours even though we ordered no appetizers or desserts. Our waitress took over fifteen minutes to come by and take our drink orders, and took 45 minutes to bring us salad and breadsticks - things that are not made to order. When our main courses arrived, almost all of our food was cold and the plates hot - an obvious sign that our food had been sitting under a lamp for way too long. Our waitress wasn't even that friendly.

Was hoping to make a change in the previous reviews about service. But after my experience? Next!!

Actually I am not the fan of Italian food. But this one I loved it. No complaints. The service is also good. Great job

Learned about endless soup and salad at The Olive Garden. A date and I went yesterday and paid $6.99 each. Apparently, they had lunch prices. Unaware. So today I went again and happened to arrive about 5 minutes before 4 o'clock which is the end of endless soup and salad for lunch time. I told the hostess that I wanted to get that before we were even seated. She told me that endless soup and salad is all day, but she failed to mention that it's almost 4 o'clock and the prices are going to change. Out of courtesy, she could have forewarned me. When it was time to get the bill, $6.99 turned into $10.99. I was shocked! Not to sound cheap or anything, but I talked to the manager who came out with no intention to help me out . She said there was nothing that she would do for me, because when the time switches to dinner, she can no longer select choices for lunch. I think that what she should have done was sympathize with my situation. Obviously if I told her that we came yesterday, that means that we probably would have come again another day soon. It was clear that she did not want me to be a repeated customer. I even told her that if I had known there was a difference in the prices, I would have gotten a regular entree for that price. She said that there's nothing she could do, said roll tide to my friend who was wearing an Alabama shirt, and walked away leaving me looking stupid. You know, after that, I'm not going to Olive Garden again for a while unless it is for an event or very special occasion. I mean, we were really going to make them the place to be, going to try everything on their menu. If I were her...I would not have done nothing for the customer. I would have at least tried to offer $3 discount or something on the next visit or even have taken one of those soups off for the purpose of me being dissatisfied. She just didn't want to get an error on her end on my behalf and basically said the hell with you. I told the waiter who was very nice that I was going to go on YELP and post a not so lovely review about Olive Garden's service, particularly that great manager who was very rude since she would prefer getting a negative review as opposed to a positive one.

I've never experienced service quite this bad. 3-5 Employees walked past my table talking on the phone, one appeared to be a manager who seemed like he had no clue what was going on. We waited close to 30 minutes just to get served WATER. The establishment was near empty and my party of 5 got seated at one the smallest tables available. I was forced to put appetizers in a to go container just so we could have room to eat. We finally got served salad and breadsticks 40 minutes later, my entree arrived cold and I never even got the soup I ordered with my meal.. I would go ahead and pass this one up. Absolutely dreadful

Came here this past weekend for unlimited soup, salad & bread-sticks while my friends got unlimited pasta. Our bread-sticks were a bit over-seasoned and 3/5 baskets we got were cold. I got the chicken & gnocchi soup as well as the minestrone. Both tasted like they would at any other Olive Garden. My friend's got pasta but a lot of times, it came out sort of dry. Our server was quick to know and got us extra sauce ahead of time. Great service, food was sub-par.

First of all, they gave away our tables after we'd called ahead. We were *early* but they'd already given them to another large group. Refills were severely lacking, bread sticks and salads were slow, and multiple people didn't get their appetizers until after the main course. Finally, several others didn't even get their meals. It was a supremely disappointing mid-week lunch when it wasn't even busy.

Tameka the manager is great! I just came to pick up my online order that wouldn't let me apply my coupon online but she took care of it! Thx!

Food was good like any other Olive Garden but stuff or waiters need to change their attitude. At least they have to get good training so they can serve better to there customers .

Awesome service. Charlette is an amazing server. Food was fine. Hot and tasty. Served promptly with lots of attentive care.

Service is way below zero stars and there's not a manager to be found. Can't comment on food cause we hadn't got much and hard to eat salad without silverware.

After reading all the negative reviews my dad and I decided we just had to see if those reviews were accurate or not. He had the chicken scampi and I had the Italian sausage and peppers with penne. We were both quite pleased (and stuffed) with our entrees and brought home tomorrow's lunches. Dad, a 94 y-o brought home enough for two meals while I, at a mere 70 years will easily polish off my left overs in one sitting. We got to the restaurant around 6:30 on a Sunday night (two days before Christmas) and were promptly seated. Our server was taking our drink orders within a couple minutes and we placed our food orders at the same time. Our salad and beverages (iced tea and ice water) were brought to our table in less than five minutes. The salad was made with fresh vegetables and hit the spot. Complaints? Well, the menus should be replaced when they start to get dog eared and our waiter could have given us a bit more personal touch but everything else was great and I'm pretty sure we'll be back next time I visit dear old dad!

Good service and draft beer. Salad was ok but had too much dressing. Wife said potato soup was very good. Greasy bland calamari. Very bland pasta Primavera. Meatballs were horrible, previously frozen and very mushy and flavorless. Good place for soup and salad but skip the main dishes. Health score 88.

Pretty standard Olive Garden fare, I've been to quite a few around the country. You can't really go wrong with all you can eat soup, salad and breadsticks for only $6.99. Good stuff. But! Yes, there is a but (hence the three stars).... the all-you-can-eat pasta bowl is served with over-cooked pasta.... that's a no-no in my book. Al-dente please!

Love the angel hair pasta with meat sauce! The lasagna is good as well. I also like their alfredo dipping sauce for the bread sticks.

Ranks among the worst restaurants I have EVER eaten at! Bad service...terrible/cold food...not to mention the charred sausage they tried to hide with meat sauce...Do NOT waste your time with this Olive Garden...And I am a huge fan of the Olive Garden usually!!

SLOW and held HoSTAGE!!! Came here for Veterans Day as an active duty member. The entire visit from the time we sat down till our checks was over 2 hours. In the meantime: delayed drinks, bread, dinner that never came out till our check was delivered. Waitress disappeared and even the manager thought we had tons of time to spare late evening. Will not return.

No matter which Olive Garden I go the food is the same. The only reason I would come here is for the unlimited breadsticks, salad and soup combo because it's the best thing they have in my opinion. Ooops I forgot that they do have a good dessert item...Dolcini (6 different types of flavor/dessert on a shot glass)

I've been to this location twice. The first time service was good, but the food was terrible! The second time it took half an hour at the table to even get a salad, but the food was better. The second meal was comp'd because of our complaints on the first visit, so I gave it a second star. There will not, however, be a third visit. Terrible.

Good food but took a long time to get to the table. Service was friendly but slow (can I get some water over here?). Clean inside. No real complaints. It was just OK.

I used to love Olive Garden, but the past few times have really caused me to never desire to come here. Staff was slow. Food was average. I'm surprised it's still open. But there are better places, even better chains, to go to rather than spending your money on such mediocre fare. And last two times I went, the place was dirty, reminded me of the fast food chains that don't clean up the dine-in area after lunch. Just not worth it to me.

Typical OG fare, which is what we wanted. My daughter ordered the Mixed Grill, which was way over cooked and sent back with no problems. Staff were very prompt.

My family recently stopped at this restaurant halfway through a four hour road trip. We were hoping for a nice "sit down" meal and a break from the road. The restaurant looked very busy and the parking lot was full, but we were told the wait would only be 15 minutes. We busied ourselves looking at their menu and anticipating the good food we would soon be eating. Thirty minutes later, we were still waiting. The staff at the door were now telling people to expect a 50-55 minute wait. Now in normal situations 30 minutes isn't long to wait for a good meal, but this was twice what we had been told, we were on a road trip and didn't have forever to wait, and we had no idea how much longer the wait would be. So we asked to see our position on the list. And we were not on it. Despite showing up, telling the staff our name, and receiving one of their coaster/pager devices, we weren't on the list, or the second page. No, our name had already been marked off and was on an old page. The coaster never "went off," no one ever called our name, and none of their staff wondered about the six people who had been standing in the door for the last half hour. They just marked us off without ever showing us a table and left us standing their wasting our time. Of course once we discovered their mistake, they offered to get us a table ASAP, but having already spent 30 minutes waiting for nothing, and knowing how busy they had become, we could not afford another 30 minute wait, and frankly couldn't trust them not to forget us again. The area has plenty of restaurants and I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere. This restaurant has so much business they are unable or unwilling to serve their customers.

My wife has turned me into an Olive Garden lover. My favorite entree was the Tour of Italy (because I could get chicken parmigiana and lasagna) until a friend turned me onto the Mixed Grill. The Mixed Grill is described as 'skewers of grilled marinated steak and chicken with a rosemary demi-glace, served with grilled vegetables and Tuscan potatoes' and I highly recommend it! It is not on the lunch menu but they will make it if you ask for it. They have a good menu and I have never had anything that was not good. There never seems to be enough workers because you ALWAYS have to wait at least 15 minutes even though there are always open tables.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
