    The food was good and just enough! A sirloin 6oz with a baked sweet potato and house salad. Some cleaning is in order. I frequent Longhorn but it is starting to smell like sour milk. Leann was a great waitperson.

    I rate 0 stars. They do not hold reservations. We called a week ahead, they told us to call back on the day of our family dinner, we did and they said they will hold our tables for a group of 25. When we got there, our tables were not ready and we was told we should have to wait until the family that we're currently eating got up and left. The manager told us that they do not hold tables, but in the phone they told us they will hold tables for our family. Well we got so upset after talking to the manager, so we left. This Restarunt ruined our birthday party for our 90 yr old grandmother. We will never be back.

    I am angry while I write this review!! Because I want it to rank higher than 2 stars but the service here SUCKS, at least tonight did! One of my peeves, In my opinion the drinks should arrive first to the table, then the complimentary bread and butter, then appetizers, then salads, then your entrees, and if you order dessert it should be served last! Am I the only one who thinks dinner should follow this order? Well if so, this location constantly screws it up! You may receive your entree before your salad or get served the rest of your food in any order!! I would feel sorry for leaving a less than average tip if the waitress would even acknowledge or apologize for this mistake. But she could care less, her attitude was to get you in and out as quickly as possible. Okay I feel better now! The Flo's filet is my favorite steak here.......Maybe I should order takeout and just eat it in my truck. Ughhhhh, damn chain restaurants!!

    Friday September 19...long story short..my granddaughter & I attempted to have dinner at Longhorns Steak House for a treat. My granddaughter was served her salade and entrée before me. The server actually placed a plate with chicken tenders and two pieces of HALF EATEN ORANGES...I thought it was a joke ..so i waited to ask the waiter or server if they realized what they had served! No one came back to the table so I snapped a photo and walked out telling the hostess about the nasty fruit that came from the trash or from someone else's plate. I POSTED THE EXPERIENCE ON FB. With the picture and some of my fb friends could not believe it ...others informed me it was one of the NASTIEST RESTAURANT IN MOBILE. I CLEARLY BELIEVE IT NOW... WILL NEVER EVER EAT THERE AGAIN. MY 6YR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER SAID...KK I CAN'T EAT THAT! I chose not to create a scene because I do not want another opportunity to come and eat trash!

    Longhorn is usually a stop after arrival from the airport when I visit home. It's always a safe bet for a steak. I typically stick with a filet to ensure that it's tender. Last time I tried the prime rib but was disappointed although it's apparently a crowd pleaser there. If you want a nice steakhouse, go elsewhere. If you need a casual experience with consistent good meat, this is your spot.

    My experience here was excellent. I came here with my family after my brothers high school graduation and I am happy with the service I received. My servers name was Marvin. AND I MUST SAY HE IS THE BEST SERVER I HAVE EVER HAD. He was pleasant and was on top of his game. He tended to our table in place of he person who was supposed to. He saw my family and I waiting and helped as soon as he was available to do so. The food was good. And the drinks were superb. A+++

    I normally do not eat at chains like this one but I ended up having a lunch there with 2 friends several days ago. What a waste of time and money! Service was ok'ish, could have been more prompt; the food, however, was waaaaay below average. Their burger had absolutely no flavor, mine supposedly had blue cheese on top and I did not taste it at all- I could have eaten a piece of cardboard as well and would not know the difference and I assume the patty was cooked in the oven; fries that came with it had more seasoning than the burger. Trout was overcooked and rice that came with that was ok. Overall impression - bland, overcooked, overpriced low grade food. Prior to trying the restaurant in Mobile, we dined at their Daphne location 2 or 3 times (not our choice) and hated it also. And to those who love their steaks - no offense but you do not know what a good steak is; their meat is a low grade stuff and I would not feed it to my dog.

Also for letting me know this is not the way things should be handled. I appreciate receiving a gift card towards our next dining experience. I will keep you posted.

    No WiFi. Got here a little after 5pm on Saturday and there was a 35-40 min wait already. We got seated in just under that time, everybody had steak and they were all cooked the way they were ordered. Mine with the truffles and mushroom risotto on the side was just delicious. Our waitress was friendly but practically non-existent. Other people whom we'd never met were bringing our plates to the table, and if we needed anything else, that was just too bad. A little frustrated, I called to the open air the name of our waitress and a short time later she appeared from around the corner, having thought she heard her name! It was a little embarrassing for both of us, but it worked. I will come again, but not very often. It was pricey, it was busy, we waited a long time to get a table, to get served, to get waited on more than once/twice in the very beginning of our dining experience...just too exhausting to deal with if we've already had an exhausting day (and we had). It seemed like we would get pampered for a bit when we decided to stop in, but we would have had more fun stopping by the meat market and just pampering ourselves at home.

    This is our favorite place in Mobile to get steaks , I love the sweet potatos ,and bread too. When u need an affordable steak this is the place to go.

    I rarely eat at chains. Once a year, however, I make my husband take me here to get prime rib. It is Fabulous. Everything else is typical chain stuff.

    Have not been here in a while. The reviews on Yelp have been mediocre at best. Our friends wanted to eat here after an evening of listening to politicians so we went along. Like most of these experiences your server makes or breaks the evening. In this case we had an absolutely delightful, chearful, pleasant, warm and friendly young lady named Faith P. (on the receipt). She knew the menu, was professional in her timing and as a result the meal was a success. The food has always been good but if served on time with someone checking that the order is correct always comes out seeming even better than it is. The carmel apple cinnamon pie with ice cream desert is a winner (I think that is what it is called). Two of our party complained the food was a bit salty and the new tomato chicken soup is spicy (Faith warned us and...yup spicy it was, but excellent). The restaurant is busy for a reason. It is worth the wait and turnover is quick. It reminds of the Yoggi Bera comment..."NO ONE GOES THERE BECAUSE IT IS ALWAYS BUSY!,,".. For this strata and class if restaurant it leads the pack...enjoy. I am giving it 5 stars to raise its average...it is better than the 3.5 average I see listed. Its not a Ruth's Chris....but neither are its prices!.....

    Lunch wait staff is absolutely TERRIBLE! We have been for lunch several times and waited 20 minutes or so for drinks(by drinks, I mean a water and an unsweetened iced tea). The hostesses were rude and the waiters had no idea where their assigned sections were. The bar area is good, they have a decent bar staff. If you want to go, we definitely recommend sitting in that area. If this is an accurate representation of Longhorn these days... then Longhorn really has gone downhill, the food is more expensive and the service and food has gone down too... :( so sad...

    WTF!!! This is two in less than a week. Are all Longhorn's starting to suck? Service for a Monday night at 2000 was SLOW! I ordered a bowl of French onion soup and it came out half full, warm and the cheese was barely melted. Maybe I need to give LongHorn a break. Like I did Outback... I have not been back in a while. When I got out of the rental I looked across the street and there is a Texas Roadhouse. I thought,"HMMMMMM, I should go there." Dang! I should have gone there. This LongHorn Sucks! One star is too good.

    My husband and I often go to Longhorn on Sunday's after church even tough they are usually busy the staff and waiters are very kind. I love the way the waiters work together to see that every one is served in a timely manner. You don't see that in most resturants. I love the wild west shrimp appetizer after eating it you don't need much else. If you have not gone you should try it. Dorothy M.
