In the last year I have gone there 3 times. Each time I was disappointed. The service is always a bit off. It takes too long to order and they tend to mix up the orders. But that could be forgiven if the food tasted better. Here's an example: their Italian beef panini was cold with the bread stale. I doubt they have a panini press in their kitchen. And their smoothie seemed to have been made without a blender. Three times I tried. But it's three strikes and I am out of there.

Great lunch spot! Very clean, extensive menu selections, and the prices are great compared to other deli-style restaurants.

Tonight was my first time going here , I won't be back either .. I got my food to go and before making it home realized they didn't give me my soup . I went back got it got home and my boyfriend realized his chicken salad ( which wasn't much diced chicken just a small chunk of chicken) didn't come with the extra dressing he asked for it didn't come with any at all.... So back we went. The salad was pretty pathetic so I gave him half of my club which wasn't great it was super dry. I can whip up a better sand which at home which is what we will do next time... I only gave on star because i have to ..

pros: - restaurant is clean - I like that they offer the University and local Lagniappe papers - tomato soup is good cons: - placing order took too long and person didn't know what they were doing - food was awful - turkey sandwich looked like it was made by a child. The chicken in wrap was chewy and cold. Our meal was just an all around disappointment. Nothing exciting or good about it - it's expensive This place used to be really good but it's gone down hill fast. Stick to the tomato soup because everything else is very underwhelming. There's just too many good options in Mobile to eat here. Get back to basics and we'll possibly return.

Yeah, not much worth reporting here unfortunately. My tuna fish sandwich was ok and the pasta salad but everything else my lunch companions ordered was bland or worse. My daughter ordered her favorite grilled cheese, promptly took one bite and refused to eat any more of it. We had to order a second meal and get her a cheese pizza. She did manage to choke down a slice before she gave up on that as well. The pizza was the worst I think I've ever tasted with lingering hints of plastic or some kind of cleaning product I couldn't quite put my finger on after every bite. My mother had the Ruben which she declared was "obviously not their specialty" along with other assorted grumblings of discontent. My girlfriend was not enthralled with hers either but manage to complain less then the rest of us. Over all not worth revisiting.

My wife, son and I stopped here one day, and now Camille's has become a a family joke... "Make A's on your report card, or we'll take you to Camille's!" The service was terrible. You could hear the employees ridiculing customers. My wife said her chicken quesadilla tasted old and stale, like it had sat in the refrigerator for a few days. The only reason I gave Camille's 2 stars is because my son liked his pizza.

The food here is excellent with a large variety of sandwiches, wraps, pizzas, soups, salads, desserts, coffee, etc. The price is comparable to any other high end sandwich shop. No $5 footlongs here - only great tasting freshly prepared food. Even the sides and the salsa are excellent. I use them to cater a lot of lunches and also eat there when I'm nearby. It's always great. Everyone always loves it. Do yourself a favor - go here!

Good wraps. Have a tasty specialty tea available that is not extra. Do coupons. Clean and friendly. Across from USA on old shell rd.

The place reminded me of Moe's ---- 10 basic ingredients and a million ways to combine them and give it a name. I had a coupon that I had received in mail; the girl at the register said it would be valid after 4 p.m. only; it didn't say so on the coupon though (is that what they call "bait&switch" ?), my friend and I placed our orders anyway. She got some kind of a wrap with brie and apples (which sounded great on the menu but looked pathetic in real life) and a green salad as a side; her comment was that the wrap didn't have much flavor and was overpriced for the quantity and the quality of the food. I ordered chicken salad which came on a bed of YELLOW lettuce that should have never left the kitchen in the first place and lots of shredded carrots; no crackers or bread to go with it. Needless to say, most of that lettuce went into trash (by the way, you clean your table yourself - just like Moe's, McDonald's and such like). The chicken salad was ok; the only thing I liked was raspberry vinaigrette. After that lunch, we concluded that that would be our first and last visit to that place and that we should have gone to Pickle Fish or Mellow Mushroom instead. There are lots of places in Mobile where you can eat much better and pay a more fair price. Camille's is a waste of money.
