Holy hoppin' jalapeños! This was a great find! We split the Steak a la Mexicana and the Shrimp and Rice between two of us. Both dishes were delicious, with fresh ingredients served hot off the grill. Lots of crisp jalapeños in the steak turned the heat up. The service was great as well. My only disappointment is that we were just passing through and this place is so far from home that I won't be able I come back again soon. I will definitely time my next trip to make sure we stop here for a meal.

Very good and priced right. I had a 32oz Margarita and the Chile Colorado. Both were very good and service was excellent. Tried several places in the area and this is the best Mexican restaurant I've found. Will be back next time I'm in the area.

Stopped by on a Sunday evening. Restaurant is close by the highway and nice and clean. The door was excellent! I had the camarones a la diabla. My wife stole one and said it was the best shrimp she had tasted.

For Foodies only!! OMG when we thought it couldn't get any better it did! Traveling through from The Panhandle home to Nashville! Read a couple reviews and one said amazing margarita on the rocks and one said get the guacamole if you like cilantro so we stopped and the reviews were right on! ( I know my margaritas no sweet fresh lime perfection). We started off with the margarita on the rocks and ordered the special guacamole that is chunky and fresh with tons of cilantro!! Next we ordered the fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimp did not disappoint again! Very fresh and clean. When I thought it could not get any better as I said before YES it did! Then ordered the poblano with ground beef and cheese (no batter) simply amazing. Tons of meat and tons of cheese! Gustov was the icing on the cake or the tortilla!!!! A very kind man and a gracious host. If you don't go here you have truly missed it!

Best Mexican food I've eaten in Prattville or Millbrook. Everything is tasty and the staff are enjoyable. I've tried and liked most of the menu and although just a side, the black beans are phenomenal. PS- If you base your decision of how well you like the establishment on the cheese dip you just don't understand food. That's not what makes a Mexican restaurant good or bad.

Good place to have dinner! Large portions and very reasonably priced. Went with a larger party of 14 people and the service was great. I ordered the mega ultimate three-meat fajita platter and it came out sizzling on the hot plate. The meat was plentiful but there were way too many onions and green peppers for, just a little overwhelming. Overall, great experience.

Stopped by at the end of a long day of driving home at the end of vacation. Chose the restaurant based on Yelp reviews. The menu reminded me of a place back in FL that is just ok. It far surpassed that level! First, I ordered a margarita on the rocks and it was perfect! I ordered a combo (#6) with an cheese enchilada and chili relleno. I love rellenos and try them as often as possible. This was definitely among my favorites! Perfect pepper, not too spicy, no breading, and full of ground beef and cheese. My husband ordered the Camarones a la Diablas and generously shared one with me. Smoky, perfectly cooked and just the right amount of spice. Our boys ordered steak tacos and loved them. Their dad got a bite of the steak and said it was quite nice! Overall a wonderful experience. Fast service, hot and fresh food, and very reasonable prices!

My family eats here frequently. The salsa is the best! We usually order cheese dip and I love that you can order it with or without jalapeños. We always get it with but nice to have the option. We've ordered Burritos, tacos de carnitas, chile rellenos, chicken soup, fajitas, nachos, enchiladas, and more. The tacos de carnitas have a great flavor and are seasoned well. The chicken soup is absolutely delicious. There was a ton of fresh avocado. My husband loves the chile rellenos because they aren't breaded or deep fried. The nachos are big and way more than I could eat. Everything we've ever ordered has always been good. If you're in the mood for some good Mexican food I highly recommend eating here!

Best & most reliable Mexican food in the Elmore/Autauga county area. Family owned, friendly & fast service. Recommend the Pork Carnitas, Choizo rancheros & fresh yummy Mexican style Guacomole. fish tacos are good too. Large portions of food so entrees can easily be split amongst couples.

Great place to eat Mexican food. Buffet on Friday - Monday where you an make your own fajitas, tacos and get all the cheese dip, enchiladas and desserts you want. The service has always been excellent too.

The service was outstanding. The chips and salsa were delicious. It was a busy, Sunday lunch time, yet I received personalized service. Many people were eating off the lunch buffet, but I enjoyed a scrumptious bowl of soup.

No heartburn from foods on the menu. If you are hungry try the shrimp and rice dinner. Don't eat your child's hamburger, you won't give it back! They are great!

It was a wonderful meal! I had low expectations, since a number of the other Mexican restaurants I tried in Prattville and Montgomery were a little lackluster, but it was great!! The burrito with steak and a creamy cheese sauce on top was especially addictive. The service was very fast and attentive. Will definitely come back!

I placed a to go order fast friendly service. My only complaint is that they are high . I paid $7 more for the same exact order I placed at another restaurant and the food was not any better. I will be sticking to my regular.

Been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in the Tri-County area. This was our first time here. Simply the BEST margarita on the rocks I have ever had anywhere. Love the food. Salsa was wonderful and their house made special hot sauce hit the spot. You have to ask for it special. Everyone was really friendly here. We will be back, many times!

Very good Americanized Mexican food. I highly recommend the house-made hot sauce: it's fantastic.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
