Like a previous reviewer noted, the end of Highway 72 where Which Wich is is becoming over-run with sandwich shops. Not that I mind - I love a good sandwich - but I just have to wonder about the future business wise. That being said, Which Wich is decent. I like the ordering system since if something isn't quite what you wanted, it's your own fault because you're the only person that filled out the order sheet. I got the TBR (Turkey Bacon Ranch) on wheat and added avocado. The entire sandwich tasted fresh but it just wasn't something that overly impressed me.

First check in and most likely the last. First, the sandwich was good...not great, good. Certainly no better than anything else out there. Second, there is no way it should take 30 minutes two fix 2 sandwiches. One was a club--how does one screw up a club sandwich? They found a way. When we complained that we had one, not both sandwiches (like the three other people in front of us.) the staff just rolled their eyes-no apology even. This process kept repeating its self while we were there. We won't be back. Picking a bag and writing my name on it, and checking off toppings is not cool enough of a gimmick to make up for an average product and poor service!

"Much better than Subway," my wife says. We ordered a large Wicked, their signature sandwich, to split. And two small chocolate shakes. Our bill was $20.07. The large sandwich was 14", a bit too much food for the two of us. Next time we may split a medium.

Very clean and friendly environment, workers are very nice. Food is good and it doesn't take long to get your food. Your food is never messed up sense you write down what you want. It's a cool little restaurant

I had the Elvis. What is not to like! Peanut butter, banana, bacon, and honey. New owner made a point to say hi and introduce herself. She is a local. We also got a Monte Cristo. It is nice to have fun (and delicious) choices, vice the normal boring selections. Milk shake was too good. Nap time. Next time I will try the gyro.

First of all, the staff here are always so kind and helpful. I eat here 2-3 times a month and I've never had a negative experience. I'm not a fan of the music or the sterile, industrial decor but that's just me. If you're a first time visitor, you might get a little confused by the ordering process if there's not someone standing up front to explain it to you. You have to pick which category of sandwich you want by picking the corresponding bag off of the wall (ham, turkey, chicken, seafood, classics, Research and Development, etc.) and then mark all of your preferences for cold/hot/toasted, veggies and other toppings, dressings, etc. From there, it's a pretty quick process. I've never had to wait more than about 5-7 minutes for my party's whole order. I usually order the Hulu (ham and pineapple - because I'm a sucker for pineapple) but I've also tried the Chicken Parm, the Wicked, and the Monte Cristo. All are good choices. I look forward to seeing what the R&D sandwich is each month but so far, it hasn't been anything I've wanted to try. Someday.... And, can I just say, I so appreciate the places that offer Mr. Pibb instead of Dr. Pepper. Thumbs up for that! And, you get $1 off of your drink if you bring in your old cup from a previous visit. Add that the the discount punch card and you've got a pretty sweet deal. They have the option to submit your order online, which I love. Now, if they'd only deliver all the way up to Toney, I'd have it made!

Once you eat here, you'll never go to Subway again! I absolutely love this place, happily give it a rare 5-star review from me, and will return soon! The ordering process is downright fun; you can take your time and design your sandwich exactly the way you want it.. You can even "Skinny" it, which means they scoop out some of the breading in the middle. The bread itself is delicious, and I'm not a bread lover. Unlike Subway's "fluffy" bread, Which Wich's bread reminded me of a bagette. Loved it. For those who don't want bread at all, they offer a "Lettucewich", which is wrapped in lettuce. I'm going to try that next time. The sandwich filling choices put other places to shame. They don't just have 1 vegetarian choice, they have about 5. The toppings include the standard ones, in addition to unique ones like caramelized onions and cole slaw. The cheese options include the standard ones, in addition to feta, blue cheese, pepper jack, and even Cheez Whiz for the "kid in you" (hey, that alone would get my kids to want to go there!). My black bean patty with blue cheese, spinach, caramelized onions, mushrooms tasted fabulous and was unlike any sandwich I'd ever had. As I ate it, my mind was racing with possible flavor combinations. I literally couldn't stop thinking about what I'd order next time, thinking that the Caprese sandwich with feta cheese would be amazing... or maybe the tuna with Siracha. Gosh... so many things I want to try! The staff was super friendly and smiley, which put me in a great mood. The ambiance was... happy! If you walk in there grumpy, I'll bet you'll walk out happy! They even had newspapers on the wall to read - local paper and also USA Today. I love to read while I eat, so that was a super nice find for me. Truly everything about Which Wich was fabulous. I'm not easy to please, and I can't come up with a single negative. I wish when the new owner took over earlier this year, the old Yelp reviews could go away, because this is a 5-star place. The lower ratings are the older ones from the previous owner. TRY IT; you'll love it!

I like that I can take my time creating my sandwich. Ever get real antsy while waiting in line to order and the person in front of you is taking forever deciding what to get? I love how I can beat said people to the register because I've finished filling out my order before they do. Bwahaha! Ahem.. If you've never experienced Which Wich before and are a bit apprehensive about the ordering process, I'll try my best to enlighten you. When you walk in, you should see a menu with some paper bags on the wall. Pick out one of the bags (which they'll put your finished wich in) based on what kind of wich you want - beef, chicken, classics, etc. Grab one of the red Sharpies and check off all the yummies you'd like to put on your wich. Choose white or wheat bread, toasted or not, make it a bowl, size of your wich, etc. When you're finished, write your name at the bottom of your bag in the space provided and bring it over to the register to pay. They'll put it on the line to get made and call your name when it's ready. I usually go for the roast beef with some cheeses, jalapenos, crispy onion strings, and garlic. The French dip wich is yummy too. Can you tell I'm a fan of roast beef? If I've got a sweet tooth, I'll do a toasted Elvis Wich. The best Elvis sandwich I've had anywhere. It's got peanut butter, bananas, honey, and bacon. Sounds weird, but it's an amazing combination. I've never been asked at this location if I have a Which Wich punch card (buy 10 meals, get one free) or if I'd like to use mine. And I've been MANY times. Talkin' bout at least a couple times a month. The only reason I knew about the punch card was because I was asked if I had one when I was at the Jones Valley location. Workers are always very friendly, though :)

First go around they tanked my order. I gave it one more try and bam! Thats the which wich I know! Great sandwich good service. It's a new location, spin by and give it a try. Then head next door to zen berry for desert. Which wich will get more stars later if they keep up the great sammies.

Which Wich is a case study in the paradox of choice. I've visited twice and left disappointed twice due to my own poor choices. The first visit I ordered the crab salad and took a flyer on adding coleslaw (which I knew was a dubious combo, but went for it anyway) and ruined my sandwich. I decided not to hold my lack of judgment against them and visited again. This time I ordered the beef and whiz and also included black olives (which I generally love) but the olives overpowered the sandwich and left me disappointed again. The problem at Which Wich is that I'm presented with a menu of like 80 ingredients (almost all of which I like by themselves) and encouraged to "be creative, it's all about you". I guess I could keep trying and trying until, like 40 visits from now, I stumble upon this magical combination that destroys anything available anywhere else and I become a customer for life. Unfortunately in the mean time I have to suffer through 40 bombs where my creative choices went amok. For me the Which Wich model is just fundamentally flawed. What I really want is someone with really, really good taste (call them a "chef") to craft like 8 great sandwiches, put them on a menu, and let me pick one. At a minimum they should add a section to their website where customers can post the combinations that work well and I can save myself those 40 visits which I will unfortunately for them not be making - I'm out.

I love this place so much! I was looking for a sandwich place besides Panera that was new and cool. and believe me if you want something new come to Which Wich! The way you order is awesome...but I am not going to give it away if you haven't been there. I had the Tuna when I first went there and it was good. I also had there special kettle chips they made, also very good. It is kinda loud but that goes with any restaurant that just opened and I was there during lunch time on a week day. The employees are nice and one guy offered to get a refill while I was eating. Very nice. Also one of the managers came out and explained how to order which was nice cause at first I was confused. Overall...I am going back and the city of Huntsville should try this place out. P.S. I am giving the place a moderate price level cause it ranges anywhere from $6 to maybe $13, again it depends on what size and stuff you get. They also cater but don't quote me on that just yet!

On a recent recon of the Sandich shop Which Wich, I had to ponder why a 6 inch turkey & swiss sandwich not toated mind you, would take over 20 minutes to make. Having neverbeen in one before, if this was the model I would say it needs to be reconfigured Slow Wich would be a better name as for the product a 6 inch sandwich price was ok. ingredients were better than subway but not as good as Firehouse or jersey mikes. The spicy relish was good. They use roma tomatoes and bagged lettuce. Oh yeah the two finishers said How old is this cole slaw? The other one said I think it the same since we opened Nice I ate it it tasted ok as not spoiled but skip the slaw. The bread really needed to be toasted my bad not a great bread like publix subs Overall not bad if you have time to kill. Just not worth the wait

It's a sub shop with a twist. Massive amounts of toppings that you don't find at other shops...blue cheese and avocado to name a few. Breakfast subs are served all day. It is a little loud, and because it's relatively new to the area it was quite busy. Overall, it was great. My family will be going their for subs from now on.

Not a bad place to grab a sandwich, although this stretch of 72 is becoming saturated with sandwich shops. Like folks have said, the combinations here are endless. The staff is not bad, not great. Sandwiches are ready fairly quickly and I haven't had a bad one yet. The interior feels kind of cramped and empty at the same time (sounds weird, I know). The real difference here is the options. And because you're writing down your selections, it may be easier to pick some outlandish

We LOVE WhichWich and went out of our way for a WW fix after traveling in non-WW territory! Please don't judge the brand by the lack of urgency and care displayed by the crew members when we were there! Not all WWs are like this. How can a restaurant in the south be out of sweet tea??? The sign stating that sad fact did not look new. Another somewhat tacky handwritten sign directed you to the open trash can which sat in front of the expensive, custom-made receptacle which was covered with an open garbage bag!?!?!? WW has a cutesy deal where you can decorate the back of your bag and hang it on the wall. Unfortunately here that area is way back by the bathrooms - doubt if most guests even kno that its there! Urgency felt by the crew is related to the busy-ness of the store. As one goes down, the other follows until neither is worth crap!

Nothing but the Coke I had tasted good here. The sandwich bread was bland. The "homemade" potato chips were horrible. The chocolate chip cookie even missed the mark... it was bland, and had the texture of a toasted stale muffin top. How do you mess up a chocolate chip cookie? If you want a sandwich do yourself a favor and pick ANY sandwich shop but Which Wich.

This is just like Subway with new ordering system, limited bread choice and OVERPRICED. Granted, they do have more meat selections and the food is edible. You can get the same at subway for less. The service is horrendous! The place was pretty empty (us and two other small party). They had 4 people behind the counter and still took 15 minutes to get our subs. Had to wait 5 minutes for 1 of them to come up to the register to take our order-bags. The others just stood around, saw us and got the girl's attention but she was in middle of making shakes or something, which we didn't mind to wait but wtf were the others workers doing? They just stood there and talked/laughed with one another... Ticked me off the most is when they prepared the orders, they actually made fun of the customers' choices while doing it. We were sat directly in front of the preparation counter and could hear them saying, "ew, this cheese with that meat. Gross." The other would laughed and agreed. How unprofessional is that? I know these kids are just high schoolers and what not, but at least show some common courtesy. The place was dirty with overflowed trash cans, paper bags (unused ones) everywhere and wet counter/floor around the drink area. There were at least 6 workers (4 behind the counter & 2 on break), and none had the common sense to tidy up the place?? Overall, will not return to this place. There are plenty of better sandwich places in town.

A little pricey but you get what you want. You fill out the form so nothing lost in translation... Sandwiches are really good. Sure there are other sandwich shops but the menus are limited or boring or you can't get the sandwich toasted. I'll pay the extra to have it just the way I want, toasted and all the extra breading taken out of center ("skinny my wich" as they call it). They even have an "Elvis" with peanut butter, bacon, honey & banana, which is popular (3 were ordered after I ordered my wich).

Good food. Decent service but can be very slow even when there is not a crowd.

Your first time will be a little confusing. Once you get it, its great. Don't go in a big hurry. The experience of building your own sandwich takes a little longer.
