The food here was pretty decent and the portions were massive (so two meals in one), but we waited a good while for our food. I wouldn't be opposed to returning, but it's not somewhere I would go regularly.

This place used to be really good for a fast food Chinese place, but recently the quality and flavor has gone downhill. Not awful, but not as good as it used to be.

Okay, I've been coming to this place waaay too often, it's silly to not give them an updated review with five stars. All of my previous recommendations are still super yummy, but I'd like to add "Sesame Chicken" and "General Taso's Chicken" to my recommendation list. This place has proven to me that "Not all Americanized Chinese food are create equal." Also, they got two new cashiers. The previous cashier was nice, but the two new girls are so cute, friendly, and helpful. I really enjoy coming to this place.

Meh. That's all I have to say about the food from this place. The crab rangoon tasted weird - can't put my finger on it, but it had no flavor, and there wasn't hardly any filling. I ordered the honey chicken dinner combination and the honey chicken was completely standard, which was fine. The fried rice? Not a lot of flavor, either. The egg rolls that came with our dinner were way too cabbage-celery flavored, even though they were supposed to be pork. I sure didn't spy a piece of pork in there! Everything was just bland, I suppose. My husband liked his sweet and sour chicken, but really - how can you mess that up? Haha! The best part of the meal was the fortune cookies - they were awesome! The hunt continues for good takeaway Chinese in Madison.....

I love a chinese place where I see the flames roaring in the back, hear the tools clanging and see real food being chopped up. This place has zero ambience but has REAL food with REAL flavor. Great lunch specials to keep cost down. Good portions. It is a once a week fix for me and some co-workers.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
