Ok I ate there for lunch today. The good things, they actually use wood, you can smell the smoke and today we saw the smoke inside while eating. The pork was moist, and smoked well. The sauces... well I tried only their Hot Sauce. You need to ask for the pork to come without sauce. A friend that was with us had the sauce on it and it was way too much. Their sauce even in small quantity can overpower the pork. As sides I had dirty rice and beans with meat. The rice was not very dirty and the meat was hard to find in the beans. Overall a good experience and I suggest that if you are close by, drop by. I don't think I'd drive out of my way however.

We are really tough on BBQ... This place is great... The sweet sauce is ok by not great.. The ribs are the bomb!!

As good as the other Hook's locations! I had the BBQ potato, which was monstrous and monstrously delicious as always! Hook's also has great ribs and sandwiches!
