I originally thought it was a big chain restaurant down here in the south and figured it was not authentic Mexican, but we heard such good things about it from the locals that we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did! Upon arrival, we were promptly seated at a booth and given menus. Within seconds, our complimentary chips and salsa (2 bowls - one for me and one for the hubs) arrived at our table, followed by our waitress to get our drink orders. A few minutes later, our waitress returned with our drinks and took our dinner orders. I ordered the Pollo Loco w/ a side of refried beans (additional cost) and hubby ordered a shrimp burrito. We only waited maybe 10 minutes for our food. My dinner was delicious (every bit as good as the Pollo Loco I get at my favorite authentic Mexican restaurant back home, although the beans come with there) and our waitress was very hospitable, letting me know that my plate of beans was super hot. Hubby and I don't usually get dessert when we eat Mexican, but this time opted to share an order of Fried Ice Cream. It was the cornflake style with honey and chocolate drizzle. We were pleased. Great dining experience!

Food is really good here...and I would edge this over Ruby Tuesdays as the best in town. Ingredients all seemed fresh and food homemade. They have a little patio to sit outside and enjoy one of the many Mexican beers, tequila (other liquors as well) or margaritas. Service was fast and friendly but it was late on a Tuesday night. Terrible service. My waitress forgot about me, and also forgot my request for more salsa and chips twice. She brought out the wrong food (she also did this to another table right next to us), and made a racist comment about the cooks in the back. I was so turned off by this, and will never be coming back again.

Who would of thought I would find good Mexican food in Jasper AL!?! Food was tasty and the margaritas were huuuggeee and equally delicious. Service was spot on. The decor is a little overwhelming but it was clean which matters most to me and after a fish bowl of margarita who cares what the place looks like. Definitely my pick for for mexican food/drinks over the other mexican restaurant in town.

This place is always packed. Bar none this place has the best fajitas I've ever eaten. You must try the ultimate chicken fajitas..bacon, onions, and all that cheesy goodness. The salsa is pretty tasty too!

This is my favorite in Jasper... Food is always hot, fresh, and tasty! The service is always fast, friendly, and attentive! The Margaritas are the best! Highly recommended

My husband and I came here tonight for the very first. We've heard rave reviews about this place so we figured we would try it. Upon walking in we could see it was busy. We stood there waiting for 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Then a lady just pointed to a table sent us to it. Our waiter came over, asked if we wanted chips and cheese dip. Never once did we know we had to pay for it, until the bill came. Our food came out at the same time as our appetizer. Then our food was burnt to a crisp on the veggies and steak for our fajitas. I was really hoping this place would be great. However their lack of customer service and poor food quality means we will not back.

We had the fajitas and the service and food was great! Margaritas are large and were average tasting. Meal size is generous and chips and salsa were refilled without asking. Great place for a date night or family night.
