WOW! Alright, so you walk into this place and you are greeted by everyone working there. It honestly looks like a fast food joint the way it is set up so I was a little nervous. Do they put some sort of addictive drug in this food because honestly I can't stop thinking about how many ways I can smother, cover, scatter, go country all up on my hashbrowns! The cheesy eggs, what the heck! They put cheese slices on the eggs to make them cheesey. Tried this at home the other day, they really don't turn out the same - more proof there is something in their food! Their waffles are delicious as well. I don't like waffles but just had to try them here. I was impressed, nice crunch on the surface and soft in the middle. The pecans and chocolate chips made it that much better. The waitresses we had were such sweethearts. They were on the spot refilling coffee and making sure we were completely satisfied. Honestly, I think that every single person in food service should take note from this place. They made my breakfast so enjoyable and pleasant. Pricing - how are they making money? For how much food you get it felt like the meal should cost twice as much. Can't wait to head back out there again to get my hashbrown and cheesy egg fix!

I've become a regular. The food here is more consistent than Denny's. They could use larger coffee cups though.

I firmly believe you have to judge a place based on what it is... ie... you can't expect a Waffle House to be 5 star gourmet restaurant.... I am judging this Waffle House against other similar restaurants. I thought they'd get a 4 hands down (I was the only patron to their 3 employees and it was 5pm... no 3am "I was sooo tired")... but alas they stumbled and barely eeked out a 3. The good: Clean Friendly Attentive Low prices Scrambled eggs Toast Toasted biscuits in biscuits and gravy. Regular customers they know by name. 22 steps from the back door of La Quinta!!! The mediocre: Smothered and covered hashbrowns were still breathing and only scantly dressed. (I couldn't tell there were onions in them until I used forensic science I learned watching CSI and one slice of american cheese does not invoke images of "covered") The bad: Gravy... of biscuits and gravy fame... was more like the cold paste you ate in 2nd grade. (Yes, you did!) The ugly: How do they make every Waffle House in the world look so dingy, nicotine covered and old? This site isn't any worse than every other Waffle House.... just something I had to get off of my chest. I feel better now.

I am not embarrassed to admit that I love Waffle House. I don't eat it very often because it isn't exactly the healthiest option but sometimes I crave that deliciousness from the grill. We went recently on a Sunday morning so they were pretty slammed. We waited a short time to sit at the bar and we did have to wait a short time for service, but it was just long enough for us to look at the menu and decide on what we wanted. I don't think I've ever actually had a waffle at waffle house. My favorite is the chicken sandwich with hashbrowns. The hashbrowns are so darn good. I like them all sorts of ways. If you're really hungry you should get them with chili (MMMM!). I also like to throw on some jalapeÃ±o peppers and some cheese. Lee S. is right, you're not going to get 5 star cuisine, but IT'S A DINER. I rate based on expectations going in, and that's why Waffle House for me is a solid 4 stars.

The worst service I have ever had at a Waffle House and they weren't busy. Four waitresses and I was waving my coffee cup for a refill--and the waitress who finally saw me went and got my waitress in the back rather than bring the coffeepot. The over medium eggs were spot on but the tomatoes were about 4 days past their prime. I stayed in the La Quinta next door so it was convenient but it has got to be THE WORST Waffle House where I've ever had a meal. No wonder it was empty at the height of lunch hour.

It's Waffle House. I don't go too often, but when I do my food is made correctly and comes out hot. I do prefer Waffle House over Denny's though. It's funny but I've never had a waffle from Waffle House. I normally get an omelet, super fancy hash browns, and OJ. The amount of food is great for the price. Waffle House is good for after the club or after a party so some of the other patrons are half drunk when they come in. Great for people watching, just don't stare.

Members of my family eating at this Waffle House occasionally. Until recently we have always been pleased with the food and service. The two times there were minor things wrong about the food - and we would have to ask two or three times for missing items/refills. I'm sure we'll be back... eventually... maybe. There is another one a couple of miles east...
