I love this place. I try and stop there whenever I'm in town. The place is dated. Its a dive! I dream about the hot kitchen sick all the way! Not the healthiest options... Good for an occasional delicious treat!

The service here is terrible. The guy at the counter was extremely rude which made me want to walk out immediately. It was very dirty and gross looking inside. All I can say is the food better be good enough to make up for the fact that everything else is severely lacking. Update: The food was some of the worst I've had. I'm amazed this place has so many positive reviews. I got a sub with steak, mushrooms, onions, and provolone cheese...I forget the actual name. It hardly had any meat or cheese on it and also had no flavor. The bread was completely dry also...no mayo or anything. Completely disappointing. It's hard to believe a sub could be so bad seeing as how it's pretty basic stuff. I will not be back again.

First of all the place needs updating. I understand that this establishment has been in the community for a long time and it looks like it. Me and my wife ordered the Kitchen Sink and we were very irritated that the guy at the register was taking money then went and prepared our food with no gloves on. After I brought it to his attention, he gave us a coupon for a couple of free sandwiches in which he could have given our money back because the sandwiches wasn't that great. I won't go back!

Well it was ok. Got the Kitchen Sink hot but it wasn't what I thought it'd be. The bread was mushy and it wasn't really that large. Not worth $12 with a drink and tip. The ladies were nice though.

This place needs some renovations and should consider taking hot dogs off the front ad side menus if they aren't pig to sell them

This is a Huntsville tradition that always satisfies. The hot kitchen sink and the steak kebab are my favorites; and I strongly recommend asking for the chopped jalapenos on the steak kebab.

Honestly I give Stanlieo's zero stars. Worst steak and cheese sub ever no flavor toughest meet and now I'm sick. My boyfriend ordered the pastrami which he took one bite and threw it away but I was so hungry I ate mine anyway. The entire inside was Extremely dirty and needs updated. We should call the health department on them. We will never go to a Stanlieo's again. Highly recommend not eating at that establishment.

The "Kitchen Sink". I wouldn't care if it was the only sandwich on the menu. I never get anything else. Sometimes I have horrible thoughts about this place going out of business. The condition of the place isn't that great, but hey, I'm not eating the table.

The food here is ok. The restaurant however is really really a dingy looking. I had the Reuben. It was OK but I am not certain it is really a Reuben. It isn't on rye bread, there is no Russian dressing on it, it had mozzarella instead of Swiss, and it had chopped pickles, onions, tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Not terrible but definitely not what you expect when you order a Reuben.

My husband and I stopped by this location yesterday and needless to say we have no clue what the hype is about at this establishment. We walked in and were immediately shocked at how dirty the inside was especially since the health rating was so high. the soda machine was coated in disgusting built up gunk and the floors and counters were absolutely filthy. We still proceeded to order our food which took over 20 minutes to make. I am still baffled as to how three subs can take so long to make especially once we found out that there were barely any toppings on them. After a long day out we chose to take our subs with us and head home to enjoy them. If only we would have enjoyed them though. They were tasteless and lacking in the topping department. I am not sure if they do not know what salt and pepper is or just chose not to use it, either way tasteless is not a way I prefer my food. To top it all off there were pickles on everything that we ordered. I looked at the menu in depth and I do not remember anyplace on there saying that they were going to load everything i ordered with cut up dill pickle spears. Maybe the person working the counter should be more worried about what the customers are actually getting. After completing our lack luster food yesterday my husband and I both looked at each other and said that we would never be going back. It was definitely not worth it for the money and in fact had I still been in the restaurant I would have sent it back to the kitchen.

There is truly not another sub shop like this one. The food is great, but it is the incredible ladies that run this place that make it worth going to. ( Also note, I have visited the one on Jordan Lane and was disappointed each time. ) The one on Governor's however, has been my go to sub stop for almost three years now. They have awesome sweet tea and if you haven't tried their signature Kitchen Sink do it NOW!! The food is on point, but I have to say if it weren't for the fantastic group of women working there I may have looked elsewhere for tasty food. They are always smiling, cutting up with customers, and get your order ready fast. I hope they are paid what they are worth, because you cannot buy the work ethic or genuine warmth that those gals posses. Keep up the wonderful work!! :)

Came for a cheesesteak. She'd never heard of that but they have a steak and cheese. It's NOT the same and basically inedible. We threw it away after 2-3 bites. Sorry, can't recommend for any reason. Didn't seem clean, poor service, run down, bad food.

Not bad! I was confused at first- the menu said their mom learned to cook in Italy, so I expected to see Italians working behind the counter, which was not the case. I'm not a sub person, but the nice lady who took my order said they made their own bread. I ordered the Italian sausage, which came with tomato sauce, grilled onions, bell peppers, and provolone cheese. I would ask for more onions and peppers next time, but the sausage was good and the portion put me in a lovely 3-hr food coma.

Stumbled upon Stanlieo's while walking in search of food and was pleasantly surprised to see that they served veggie meats! Tried the reuben and was not disappointed! Also got a veggie club to go which was even better at 2AM. The only thing that would have made things better is vegan cheese! Worth the walk for a lonely vegan in the south.

I have now made my final visit to this location. The place just looks kinda grungy and the service is laughable. It should NOT take 20 minutes to make a "Hot Kitchen Sink", it doesn't at the Jordan Lane location- which is where I will go from now on. I have given this location every chance to impress me and bring my attitude up, and they are just not capable of doing so.

Haven't had a sub this good in awhile and I was stoked to see a whole page of veggie options! The service was real and they weren't putting on any act to impress anyone. Loved it. If you want a sandwich go here, even if it's out of the way. You won't be disappointed!

Hm... I ordered a steak and mushroom combo, and disappointingly, there wasn't much steak or mushroom in my sandwich. The flavors were still there, but the meat and contents were lacking. Maybe it'll be better next time?

I love the cold kitchen sink! I usually go to the Jordan Lane location, today we ate from the Governor's Drive location. It was MUCH better than the last time I was there!

Great local place I've been eating at for years. Their bread is great and I love the sandwiches they make on it. Try anything and you won't be disappointed. My favorite? Corned beef with the onion, pickle and tomato toppings...ya gotta love their toppings.

Excellent subs! Try not to mind all the road construction right now!
