It's pretty good no complaints. Service was good.

In an American restaurant landscape chock-full of steakhouses, LongHorn does a pretty good job in staking out its little corner of the world, er, pasture. The Cowboy Pork Chop, LongHorn Salmon, and Renegade Top Sirloin are all good choices. The accompanying bread loaf and butter will fill you up before your meal arrives if you don't pace yourself, but it is good nonetheless. I'm also a fan of their chowder; it's not a New England clam, but still very good. Still hungry? Two words: Chocolate Stampede. This is a huge dessert, but worth every delicious, chocolatey calorie!

Service was horrible our waitress talked so quiet we could barely hear her and she had no personality whatsoever. She didn't know the menu and did not go out of her way when we asked questions regarding the food. She was slow and never refilled our drinks not till we asked. It wasn't very busy so there isn't an excuse. My steak I ordered was cooked perfectly medium and was excellent, my families two steaks where way under cooked and the sides were not very good. Which is inexcusable for 85 dollars for three steak dinners. Will not be going back to this location as the one on university drive is so much better. Seriously where is the love and care into the food. When you charge someone 25 dollars for a plate it should be spot on.

Amateurs, from the management on duty, to the servers, to the bartender. They fumbled over an 8 top and 10 top and another "big " table all at once and seated our party at two different locations after I asked them to please seat us three. separate. times. At 5 PM on a Monday. Really? It's a franchise. Coporate training is available. And, I hope they look into that. My wine was served lightly poured into a lipsticked-rimmed dirty glass. (Not my shade, ha ha!) Kudos for comping my colleagues messed up burger, for not adding the 18 per cent gratuity for our sized party, thanks for the smiling faces on nearly all of the server's faces and the flat iron steak that I got was cooked correctly and tasted good! Too bad service is beyond sub par. For the same price point, next time I'll go to mezza luna in the same strip mall. Much better value and professional staff.

I had the 6 oz filet, sweet potato and salad. My wife had the strawberry salad with honey mustard dressing. Both were excellent. Waiter did a fine job and head waitress came by to ensure all was fine. Hot wheat bread was served too. Ate early at 515, not crowded at all. Will go again!

For the moment if this is your first visit you can get a free appetizer. We tried the Wild West Shrimp. It's a long boat of lightly battered popcorn shrimp served with peppers and ranch dipping sauce. It was a good choice! Our server recently moved here from Denver and she was very attentive and never let the glass run dry. I had a 1/2 rack of ribs with Vidalia Onion BBQ sauce and seasoned fries. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and had just the right amount of sauce. It was a great meal at typical prices for this type of restaurant. We'll definitely return.

First time at a LongHorn Steakhouse, probably the last time. The food was acceptable, not amazing, but not bad either. However, the service was definitely on the poor side. Given the time of day (4pm on a Sunday) and how not very filled the restaurant was, I'd have a hard time saying just exactly where our server was the entire time. From what I could tell, we were the only table she was serving, but I could be wrong; perhaps she runs a car detailing service out of the back and was spending most of her time there. We saw her periodically at first, but when you get to the point where you start debating whether or not you need to physically get up in order to notify the hostess to get your waitress then I suspect there's a real problem there. If the food had been outstanding I think we could have overlooked the poor service, but as it stands, I don't believe I'll be back.

Well back again to see if this place can redeem itself. Ordered flo's filet. Waitress totally ignored us for 2 mins not even acknowledging us sitting at bar as she serve people next to us and going back and forth. Finally got drinks. Had to wait another 10 min to just get a menu. Hello? I'm just sitting here to drink water. This server needs to be trained better. Bring in Robert Irvine to get this staff up to par. Flo filet had no flavor but was tender.

We just left there for the second, and last, time after sitting at our table for five minutes or more without so much as someone taking our drink order.

Quick seating. Tall cold beer. Good steak and salad. Excellent service and overall good value. Our family's favorite restaurant.

Our server was nice, she kept our glasses full at first. But after our food was brought out we didnt see her again till she brought the bill. But the food was a big disappointment of all. My husbands steak was overcooked, very dry and the bottom of it was black. Seemed that they just left it on that side for a while. I had the Salmon, it was good but I had veggies with it and they were uncooked. It seemed like the staff was avoiding our table like the plague. There are better steakhouses in Huntsville to go to that have better prices.

I went out today for Fathers Day, but was very disappointed at the quality of the food. The staff was somewhat friendly, but the prices were very high for this trash. Their bread appetizers were great as always, but the entrees were disgusting. I've had the steak before and it was as tough as a rock---overcooked. This time I had the baby back ribs. They didn't exactly "fall off the bone" as described; they were tough and flavorless. The barbecue sauce on it was almost 100% sugar and no flavor. Then the sides... The salads were made with cheap iceberg lettuce and they are flooded with what tastes like store-bought dressing. You can find better cheese at a school cafeteria. Their "fresh seasonal vegetables" would have been okay if they didn't dump an entire container of salt on it. I couldn't take another bite of these "vegetables" because they were so salty. I'm surprised that I didn't get a heart attack from the one bite I took! I would not recommend this place to anyone who likes to eat decent food. Their prices are high and the quality of the food is low. Don't come here.

Tonight we were seated promptly, but waited 15 minutes before a waitress appeared. It wasn't her table but she noticed we had been sitting there a while. We ordered and received our salads and drink promptly BUT THEN a 30 minute wait for our entree. We received the entree and neither of them were warm! Our waitress was the best, but the cooking staff and the waiting time not so much. I you go, you're taking a chance. Second time it's happened out of the last three visits.

I have better meals at a longhorn before the service was well below par and the food could have been better for sure

We started off with the mushroom appetizer, which was nothing special, but tasted good. For our entrees, I was very disappointed. We got something different than what we ordered, which the waiter unabashedly admitted to doing. I have no idea why. My steak was overcooked and the taste was not great. I love a good steak, so I will definitely not be spending my money here again. I felt ripped off.

Longhorn was our favorite old standby place. Whenever we wanted a place to go that we knew well and had something for each of us at a good price, this was it... until we moved from Maryland to Huntsville last year. This location (Jones Valley, Huntsville) has served us more raw or burned food than we've ever had anywhere else. I never order steaks anymore because they just can't get them right. We kept going back in hopes they'd come around but they just aren't the sure thing we were used to. I guess we'll have to head to the Outback. Too bad.
