My take on 5GBF is slightly different from Derek's. Nothing on In N Out's menu (secret or not) comes close to that of 5 Guys. The burgers and fries here are 100 times better. They are the way you would make them at home after years of practice. In N Out is good, but you can easily tell it is fast food. Not the case at 5GBF. Note: each time you eat here you're most likely taking a year off your life, but you will be happy until that heart attack comes, so enjoy it.

These burgers are huge! I had the cheeseburger with bacon which turned out to be a double patty. I definitely could have handled a smaller one. The fries are seasoned perfectly with many crispies to enjoy - the best french fry in my opinion is a crispy one. The best part about their burgers? They don't leave that nasty fast food burger preservative taste in your mouth after you finish eating it. Tastes like homemade! Now I get why people like this place better than In & Out...yes, I went there.

A very good burger and great fries. One word of caution Five Guys dont let your cooks get into the habit of Pre cooking food like they did today our burgers were ready in less than three minutes no way did you start our order after we ordered it. If I get a burger that fast I start to wonder how long has it been settIng around. If you start to allow that I will not be back there is a Red Robin in the same parking lot. Ours was good today but watch yourselves

Favorite place to grap a burger at a sit down resturant. They beets Red Robin besides the onion rings, which Five Guys do not offer, and less burger options, however Five Guys Burger are really good, they use 80/20 ground chuck which it the best for burgers. It isn't a in&out place (isn't fast food). Great for families. Manager and crew are friendly. You can get a burger big or small, and a fry is large enough for two. Coke products and tea to drink lemon on the side if you like lemon in you tea. The food is so good I never notice if they have a TV..I think they do and if so it must be on mute. They also have great reveiws from many news and food magazine publishers.

The best burger you can possibly buy without driving all the way up to Kopps in Wisconsin.

Well, Yes it tastes good, but a bit sloppy, a bit expensive for 4 stars. Better than MacDonalds and burger king, but not as good as In'N'Out. But seeing as The Nearest In'N'Out is Las Vagas or somewhere, I will probably come here once a month.....after I save up for the experience.

Hamburger were thin and dried out. While I was in the restroom, one of the cooks walked out without washing his hands

Five Guys totally buys into their own hype and then doesn't live up to it. Everywhere you look - the walls, the take out menu, the cups - you are bombarded with quotes about how wonderful this place is and how many awards they've won. The menu has a choice of 4 burgers (plain, bacon, cheese, bacon & cheese) in two sizes - reg. (2 patties) and Little (1 patty). There are also 4 hot dogs (same options), grilled cheese, veggie(?) and two sizes of Fries (regular or Cajun). Then there is a laundry list of toppings that can be added at no additional charge. Regardless of what you choose and whether you're dining in or getting food to go, food is presented stuffed in a plain brown bag. The burger was OK, but it was just a burger. I could have gotten one just as good down the block at Wendy's for a fraction of the price. The fries (I went with Cajun) would have been good if they weren't soggy. A small order of fries is more than plenty for one person and could easily feed two or possibly three. Bottom line: I may give the fries another chance if someone else has their heart set on going there and I'm tagging along; however, if it's entirely my decision, I likely won't go back.

Best burger not made by my dad in Huntsville. After falling in love with Five Guys in Atlanta, I was thrilled when one opened on Carl T, and I surprised my parents with burgers and fries from Five Guys when I showed up earlier than expected. The burgers are generously sized (I get the junior because the regular is just huge), and the selection of toppings is impressive (lettuce, tomato, pickles, jalapenos, grilled onions). Additionally, the fries are delicious - the cajun really does make it spicy - don't be fooled. Everything is so fresh - this is the East Coast's answer to In-N-Out Burger - with fresh potatoes, fresh beef, and fresh toppings. So delicious - definitely worth the extra dollars!

Loved this place from the start I have never received bad food. Get the little burger unless you are very hungry. The buns are always soft and the bacon crispy. The fries arent greasy and the meat patties are fresh not frozen. You can choose from lots of toppings. Totally worth the extra money.

Best choice for us In'N'Out fans east of the West. No secret menu, but almost equally good fries. The peanut thing is a bid odd. Free refills with a GREAT selection of drinks.

What can I say, except F ABULOUS? I love that the menu is simple (Hamburger or hot dog?) and the toppings are plenty. There are two kinds of fries and two people can easily share a regular order. Peanuts in the shell are available to snack on while you wait for your food. The regular hamburger is plenty big enough, but on a few occasions I have gotten the big burger with cheese and bacon, but it really is too much burger for me. But every bite is awesome. The hot dogs are delicious, as well, if you can pull your eyes and nose from the burgers....probably, even some of the best in Huntsville.

Burger and fries were good. Completely grossed out by your boxes of peanuts placed on top of the trash cans....

The staff was very nice and my burger was out in no time however the burger wasn't that great (Bacon Cheeseburger) and I wasted my money on the fries.

Yep this is a franchise burger place but to those who have never tried it, you should. The fries are fresh cut and very tasty and large in portion. The burgers are built to order ( my favorite is Grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, hot peppers, Swiss with A-1 and hot sauce ) with fries and a drink you will come out over $10.00 but it is far better than the average fast food restaurants burgers. More like you would make at home. They put your fries in a cup and after they place your burger and fries in the bag they just go ahead and dump more fries in the bag on top of everything which is pretty cool. I would advise anyone to give them a try!

I have been twice now. The first time amazing burger, so surprised that an order of fries is enough for 2 people. But still I prefer In'N 'Out, but that is not an option here. The second time I went, the burger was so sloppy, is dissolved the bun, and it all mushed through my fingers, so was not as enjoyable, I didn't realize that 2 burgers comes as standard and you have to ask for a single burger on the bun, and I will get them to hold all the sautéed mushrooms etc. But a great place for a burger, very expensive, burger, fries and drink for $11, but OK for a treat once-in-a while.
