Angel's is officially my favorite coffee shop. They are cheaper than chains (Yeah, Starbucks. I'm talking about you) and the atmosphere is super chill and relaxed. I always get Fiji Tea in the biggest possible size and my total is never more than $2.50. I love to hang out with friends here, or just come and study. If you like super-sweet drinks remember to get your coffee "Angel Style." They also have little punch cards that will earn you free drinks and sandwiches, so if you come here regularly be sure to pick one up. Also there's free WiFi. So. Much. Win.

I've been coming to Angel's since 2011 when I used to live in Madison, and I usually return whenever I visit. Without a doubt, the best coffee in the Huntsville area (used to be Kenny Mango's in Madison). In fact, I would even say that Angel's is better than Cafe 153. First, the drive-thru is actually reasonable on time when you consider how busy it gets inside. The one downside of the drive-thru is that upon making that left turn, you'll find yourself almost in the lane of the back of the building of the adjacent strip mall. Another small downside (and I stress small) is that Angel's is further down Memorial Parkway than you think. You would hope that it would be closer to the Drake Mall, yet its so-so. Now, for the product. Absolutely outstanding! I've never had an issue with her coffee assortments, yet here is the thing: she actually gives almost a double the portion size of what is expected. For example, if you get a double expresso at any Starbucks and compare it to Angel's double expresso, you'll see a major difference in both quantity as well as price. This is one reason why I keep coming back. And the snacks from the vendor that she is contracted with brings in the freshest brownies and muffins. The brownies are a must-try. Huge portion size, and succulently moist. Further, if you want a good sandwich or wrap, Angel's makes a good one. For a coffee place, this alone is a welcome surprise, and reasonably priced. The WiFi is good, and the decor is quite comfortable. The leather sofas that she has in the front make you want to sit and lounge for hours upon end with a good coffee, snack, Kindle & Ipod playing whatever and without a worry in the world. Huntsville, you have a good one with Angel's Island Coffee!

This is my favorite coffee shop in town. I spend way too much time here. Okay...no I don't! But I do spend more time in this shop than any other in town. Friendly staff, great environment and I love the coffee. My favorite? It's a toss-up between a classic caramel macchiato or a "snickerdoodle mocha" (which I order all year 'round.) I'm a big fan of the fresh fruit smoothies too. :) Oh, and the wifi is some of the most reliable I've used outside of my own home.

I introduced my sister to this place and now every time we go to Huntsville we stop here. Fantastic place. :)

I just stopped in because our building on the arsenal lost power for an hour. I don't like coffee, so I had them make me a Dingo without the espresso. It was very tasty. The ambiance is very nice, and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I have also come to Angel's for a lunch a few times. The Angel's Choice salad is excellent. The vegetables are very fresh and flavorful. I added both chicken and turkey to the salad which was great. It will certainly fill you up for lunch. They have several type of sandwiches and wraps which look good but I am one of those gluten free types so I don't order those. They look good from what I have seen.

Awesome service every time! The only coffee shop that my wife and I go to away from home. Fair prices, awesome coffee, if you want an original awesome place to have coffee, this is the place for it. On a hot day a nice "dingo" is the way to go! Enjoy!

Awesome! Great coffee place, will be back whenever I'm in town. I really appreciated the almond milk option. The store was very cute and relaxing, service was top notch and lattes were excellent!

I always have a good experience at Angel's Island! My favorite hot beverage to drink year-round is their white mocha. Today, I tried their veggie wrap on sun-dried tomato with sriracha sauce for a kick, on recommendation by one of the staff. Fresh ingredients with a burst of flavor. And the delicious savory heat from the sriracha. Yup, I am really glad I decided on this as my supper! Thanks, Angel's Island, you win again!

Angel's is awesome. Great service, amazing staff and the coffee is outstanding! One day, my mother-in-law had our children and drove past Angel's on the parkway. They started screaming because "YOU PASSED ANGEL'S". Clearly, they know our car stops there every time. ;)

I spent some time at one of Huntsville's top coffee spots this evening catching up with a friend. This was not my first visit to Angel's Island Coffee but, as always, it was a very pleasant visit. As a matter of fact, I have never been to Angel's and left unhappy with my visit. Even if my company lets me down, the visit to Angel's is always grand. Of course, like today, it's best when the company and the drinks are good! Don't let the small orange storefront fool you! Inside, Angel offers plenty of tables, high tops and comfy sofas for just yourself or even a group of friends. It's also a great place to read, study or surf the web (free wifi!). I can't say enough about how pleasant the atmosphere is or how friendly the staff is. The menu offers plenty of hot and cold coffees, hot chocolates, sodas, juices, teas and more. Feeling creative? The unique flavor selection allows you to create your own signature drink. Cheesecake Mocha? Almond Joy Hot Chocolate? My personal favorite is the Blonde Americano next visit! If you get a twinge of hunger, there is an assortment of pastries, as well as a sandwich selection. The sandwiches are good, but the pastries are just run of the mill: okay but nothing special. If you want to play a board game, they have some available and it's pretty common to find some local art on the walls to enjoy and even purchase. This is one of my favorite places to meet friends or sit by myself and surf the web. My only real disappointment is that they close early on Wednesday night and are closed all day on Sundays.

Really like the atmosphere at Angel's Island. The staff is friendly. I would like to see a little more robustness out of their bold style coffee selections. However, overall, I highly recommend this coffee shop.

I'm someone that really likes to fast my the espresso in my espresso drinks. I don't know if it was what I ordered or if the barista was just off (many people gave Angel's 5 stars) but my coffee was very weak. All I could taste was milk and sugar.

I love this place! Service is always fast and friendly, Coffee is good quality. I would much rather support this local family owned small business than Starbucks any day! I love the white chocolate mocha,

Nice coffee house with a good selection of drinks and food available. Great ambiance. If I lived closer to it, I'd hang out there all the time.

Angle Island Coffee: a mecca of greatness in an endless, depressing sea of chain coffee shops. First of all, this place is on par with chains price-wise. They make great coffee from the bean. They make delicious, nutritious smoothies. The atmosphere is laid back and inspires creativity, so this joint is perfect if you draw, write, or whatnot. Couches, comfy chairs, wifi. ...Seriously, why aren't you here yet? Support our local establishments, especially those as great as Angel Island Coffee!

Great iced coffee drinks. Locally owned and operated. They also serve treats like muffins and bagels etc. They do offer a frequent buyers card.

Mad Acad drama dude Max Dashner and I ceased lamenting over the day-to-day grind, braved the hourly life-threatening storm, and met up at ANGEL'S ISLAND COFFEE [7538 South Memorial Parkway; (256) 319-3424]. This is a little ways down the Parkway from the Martin Road overpass and boasts a very inviting setup: a passel of comfy chairs greets the weary traveler as he/she/it enters, and I always laud and magnify coffeehouse comfy chairs. Who wants their only option to be hardback seats or backless stools when mulling life's probs over a cuppa java, for the ironic combo of sloth commission and the jitters is an unalienable right! An added plus here: daily brewed coffee includes two refills. What? I would enjoin you to color me amazed, but it clashes with my palette. I had always felt that's exactly the sort of tact I'd take were I to run such a shoppe, and harmony of thought can be attractive. As to be expected, there are a number of espresso offerings and pastries, as well, plus a welcomed selection of ice cream drinks (doesn't the "Sun Kiss" - ice cream, chocolate, and espresso - tempt you?). Oddly enough, one of the most interesting aspects is what must be the most comfortable baby-changing station I've ever seen, like a slice of Bonnie Blue's nursery. Believe me, keeping baby happy is a major PLUS when one is wired from self-caffeination...and so is the live music AIC periodically features, as it can help you shake your shakes away.

After working in a small, local coffeeshop, there's really no going back to Starbucks or Joe Muggs, and Angel's provides a stellar alternative to the major coffee chains in the south Huntsville area. In a classic "don't judge a book by its cover" scenario, ignore the brightly painted cinder block exterior of the building and head inside for friendly service, a great array of coffee, tea, Breezes (ice cream concoctions akin to a milkshake), pastries, and a laid-back environment. I really enjoyed the Americanos and hot tea, and the couple times I've been back during hotter weather the Breezes have hit the spot. I hear the sandwhiches are a tasty and popular item as well, but I haven't tried them yet.

I was working at the hotel next door and came here for breakfast to grab a bagel and to get coffee. After that first trip I was hooked. I came back everyday after that I was in Huntsville. The staff is nice and the food is good. I came for lunch and had chicken salad on a croissant, it was really good. This place took me by surprise

Angel's Island Coffee's unassuming presence on the hodge-podgey lackluster Memorial Pkwy reveals a fantastic surprise when at last you reach its little drive-thru window. The folks are nice indeed, but that's not why we make the trek. All the coffee drinks are great, but the real action are the ice-cream & coffee concoctions. I dont recall the exact name, thinking its something like the Island Breeze, but its a great combo of coffee, ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate. Yumm-E!

Great Coffee... Great Staff.... I will be back! (It's wonderful to find a true coffee shop with an individual character!)

Great little coffee shop. Wish it were closer from the client I'm working at but pretty impressed. Their dark roast is a French Roasted Ethiopian coffee which was pretty good. The atmosphere is prett

What a welcoming coffee shop! I like coming into a coffee shop where I feel welcome to stay as long as I want or need to. Angel and her workers are all very nice. The prices are reasonable and the coffee is good too.

We first went to Angel's when we were staying at a nearby hotel while we were looking for homes as we were moving to Huntsville soon. We went to the drive-through, and Angel was so unbelievably friendly and the coffee was the best ever. The next night, we went again, and Angel remembered us from the previous night AND remembered what we had ordered. Wow! Were we ever impressed! Now that we have lived in Huntsville for two years, we still go to Angel's regularly. I have never been to any other retail/restaurant establishment where I walk in, have the owner recognize me, greet me and start making my "usual" coffee order before I even get to the counter!!! It is no wonder Angel's is voted over and over as the best coffee shop in Huntsville. Oh, and the coffee is consistently delicious, of course!

One of the best things about Angel's island is that it's locally owned. That means a lot to me. The staff is energetic and friendly and always ready to offer a recommendation. When I was in college I used to study here all the time. Forget about the calories and get a coffee shake, they are to die for.

I've enjoyed coffee in Melbourne AU and Queenstown NZ and consider myself a bit of a coffee snob (Starbuck's blows! ;-) ) Angel's is by far the best coffee in Huntsville.

Great Place, great girls who work there, but for me the coffee is like dishwater, and both times I have been there it ended up down the sink. Just way to weak!

locally owned and operated, so it's a welcomed break from the chain stores. Prices are similar to the chain stores, but they have specials and frequent buyer cards, which makes it more affordable. It is a laid back atmosphere. The hours are limited; they are closed Wednesday evenings, and all day on Sunday. The caramel macchiato is delicious.

Great coffee. Excellent customer service. The prices are lower, I think, than most specialty coffee shoppes. I'm a big fan!

This coffee shop is by far the best coffee shop I have ever visited. I have been going there for four years and have always been greatly impressed. Fantastic espresso, coffee, ice cream drinks, sandwiches and atmosphere!
