My husband and I just got back from eating here tonight, and let me tell you that you are better off spending your money elsewhere. When we first walked in, they were very busy which was fine; the hostesses at the front station didn't even look or acknowledge our presence when we arrived. We ended up standing there for a good 2 minutes before someone asked how many were in our party - we should have walked out right then. So we finally get to our table 45 minutes later and our server arrives; he is VERY soft-spoken to the point where I keep having to ask him to repeat himself which seemed to irritate him. We get our food and it is BEYOND BLAND. The pasta reminded me of something that came out of a Michelina frozen meal, there was absolutely no seasoning on anything including the steak that came in my pasta. My husband's pasta was very watery and bland as well, and most of the clams/mussels in the pasta were still closed either from not being cooked long enough or because they were bad to begin with. Our server asked how everything was and I told him all of this and he apologized but that was about as far as that went. And while we are on the subject of our server, aside from the soft-spoken trait, he spent more time catering to the party of 10 beside us and barely came over to our table. He came over maybe twice (once to get our drinks and the next to drop our check, he didn't even bring our food). My husband and I left the restaurant beyond dissatisfied and mutually agreeing that this was the biggest waste of money! We definitely will not be returning!

I am biased this is one of my favorite of the chain restaurants, I particularly like family own restaurants over all chains but I have a weakness for Italian food so Olive Garden gets a pass with me on this one. This particular Olive Garden is pretty descent, close to home and the mall, its a popular one cause of the location so it can be busy, the service is ok it just all depends as most restaurants. But all in all not bad as I come here often enough!

My food was great but that's about it. Our service was terrible. My boyfriend ordered a double whiskey on the rocks. How hard is that? Apparently extremely hard because he had to get them to fix it THREE times. Our waiter acted nice to our faces, but blatantly made fun of us to a table like 10 feet away from us for asking him to fix our drinks. Every single employee was so rude. We went to the bar while waiting on our table. Keep in mind, it's an extremely small bar and there were 3 workers behind the bar. No one ever came up to us. We had to ask a manager to get us a drink. The manager told one of the bartenders to take our order. She did, but never made us our drinks. Just stood there goofing off with other employees. Our buzzer went off, we handed it to the hostess and she told us to wait there for a minute. Five minutes later the hostess walks up behind us. I turned around and she was just looking at us with a rude look. I asked if our table was ready and she just walked off. I assumed that meant yes and it did... Seriously? And then the horrible waiter who made fun of us for asking for the right drink. Horrible horrible service. Will never return and will discourage anyone I know from going there.

Worst waitress, Christin. I got all you can eat salad and soup, she never asked me if i wanted seconds in soup. We only got salad seconds because my husband asked. Never refilled our drinks until we asked. We watched her walking and I have seen snails walk faster. Gave us our bill never asked if we wanted dessert.

Actually, it gets a 2.5 There have been times that I've gotten real good service, but there have been times where they really haven't tried. I was once there with my now ex and the waitress paid very little attention to us. She didn't even refill our drinks until she gave me the check. I would have asked her...if she had been anywhere around us! My guess is that because we were young, she felt like we didn't know how to tip, so she didn't try too hard. For the record, I leave 15-20%. Ive even left more than 20% when they go above and beyond! They just have to make me real mad for me to tip less, like this girl did. (I didn't stiff her, I just didn't tip well. She got the tip she expected to get!) A lesson to everyone out there, never assume someone is going to treat you badly. They may just surprise you!

One of the several restaurants ringing 'round the Galleria, Olive Garden brings its standard Italian-themed fare to the shopping and/or dining crowd. The meal was pretty decent, but it was less-so due to stale/overwarmed breadsticks. You know how they're breadsticks are supposed to be, right? Warm, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. These were tepid and a little tough and dry. After dipping them in my chicken gnocchi soup (which was excellent, by the way, and helped tip the scales toward three stars instead of two), they were palatable, but not delicious.

Unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks dinner for $10 is a great deal. Tried the chicken gnocchi and the sausage tuscana soups, both were very good. Salad was good and the breadsticks were awesome, especially when dipped in the soups.

Went to this Olive Garden with a large group last night. Our waitress, April, was awesome! She was very polite and worked very efficiently to ensure our party was well taken care of. No ones glass was ever empty and there was a constant flow of salad, breadsticks coming to the table. Everyone's entrees came out warm and in a timely fashion. Would certainly recommend visiting this Olive Garden location.

After working a long day today, my girlfriend decided Olive Garden to go was in order! She texted me, telling me she was picking it up and would meet me at home! Olive Garden at home after a long day, and those breadsticks! Who doesn't think of breadsticks when they hear OG?! One problem, there were no breadsticks. Even worse, my gf said the girl even double checked the bag after she waited a long time on it. No big, we will just call and go get them, we live about ten minutes away. My gf called back and talked to someone and was put on hold, and remained on hold the whole time we ate. I would just swing back by, but if getting it right doesn't happen, and you don't care to fix it, that's pretty much it. I guess what I had hoped would happen is that when the girl answered the phone and told her she was transferring her to the "to go" section, maybe go the extra mile and tell them something like "hey, this call I'm transferring you is from someone who just picked up and something was left out" I guess anyone could just push a few buttons and throw an already paid customer in line like cattle or sheep or something. Kinda disappointed would be the best way to put it. Friday night dinners are supposed to be special not stressful, or disappointing. Olive Garden without breadsticks is like michelin without tires or nike without shoes, just doesn't make sense.

We had a party of 4 couples, 3 children and 1 infant. Arrived at 10:45 and told greeter how many people in our party. At 11:30 we were finally seated. We placed our orders and received our drinks, after waiting over an hour we finally had salad and bread sticks put on table. When food arrived several of the plates of food were cold, the pasta was sticky as if it had been sitting in pot all morning. Shrimp plate was not good. We did not send anything back due to the long wait we had already encountered. Servers apologized for long wait, said order had been misplaced. When the meal was completed we were told they were rechecking the bill and when it was brought by one of the servers, the one at our table took it, looked at it and started back to the kitchen. At this point we asked for a manager. After at least 15 minutes a manager came to the table. She was totally uninterested, blamed servers for not placing order, never gave an explanation for cold food. Stated she would take 50.00 off the bill, one person was picking up the tab, yet when he paid she had only deducted 30.00. This was a Birthday Lunch and it was a huge disappointment. As we left there were 5 workers standing at the greeters station and not one acknowledged us or said come back. Too busy laughing and talking. We have eaten at Olive Garden many times in the past but will not go there again. Besides the poor service and food the general dismissive attitude of the manager when approached about our complaints is unacceptable.

We eat at Olive Garden on a very regular basis and travel for our jobs, so we've eaten at them all over the country, this was subpar. The food was "okay", not great. There were four of us and each one of us had an issue. We are VERY forgiving of servers and give lots of benefit of the doubt and are understanding if they are busy, etc. It's just easier for time and space if I list a few of the problems: (It was 9 p.m. on a Sunday night, NOT busy at all). - When we walked in we all thought it smelled like a veteranarian's ofc. or a pet store, not sure what that was about. - Took a long time for the server to get to us and then a long time to get our water. Minor issue as we weren't really in a hurry. - Had to request the menu for the advertised Italian Duos promotion going on as none of us got the full menu. - Waited a loong time for water. - After he dropped off the water he disappeared for an extremely long time and it was about 15 minutes before he came back to take our order. - Brought the soups and salad and forgot a soup. - Forgot to give us silverware and we had to wait awhile for him to come back so we could ask him for some. - Soup (zuppa toscana) which I get EVERY TIME was watery and had one tiny piece of potato in it. - The food was pretty bland and barely acceptable, nothing like the quality we are used to from O.G. Several things were flavorless and two were burnt. - We ASKED how much soup/salad as a meal was and were told one price and when our bill came it was $4 higher than the stated price. - The only time our waiter came back was at the end of the meal and walked up to four empty water glasses and asked if we needed water. We were done eating. - When we were brought the bill he asked if we needed to-go boxes but none of us had food. - When we saw the extra charge we questioned it and he said he was wrong about the price he told us. Our daughter in law had decided on soup/salad because she wasn't very hungry and price had made her decision on what to order. For the SAME price that was on the bill she could have gotten the Make Your Own pasta bowl AND had soup, if she had been told ahead of time when she ASKED (the soup/salad option wasn't listed on the menu). - We asked if they could adjust the bill and the waiter said the asst mgr couldn't do it. We very politely asked for the mgr and she was uninterested in making it right but eventually took $3 off. - The table behind us told her it took them 20 min to get their bill and she apologized and said she had been handling another customer complaint in another part of the restaurant (not us). We were there an hour and 45 minutes, which is excessive, we weren't just sitting and talking, as I said, we were in no hurry but did want to just go in, eat, and leave in a reasonable time as we had to pack. We observed four separate customer complaints in just that period of time, I suspect there were more and that it's a fairly common occurrence. Idk if it's bad training or bad mgt but the svc was not great food not great, our particular waiter and the store mgr are definitely in the wrong industry. We usually tip 25%, 20 if it's average, if it's great we've tipped 50%, we left 18% this time and that was ONLY because we felt sorry for him for being so bad. Do yourself a favor and pick another location, especially if you have time constraints. As I said, we are very forgiving and we don't expect perfection, but do hope for at least average service.

Went to this restaurant with me team . I ordered soup and I got it last . I asked for it several times and I didn't get it til everyone got their food. One of our waiters was rude when I told them my drink was wrong. The food was good. But I got bad service.

I visited this Restaurant on a recent business trip to Pelham, Alabama. I usually eat at the bar when I am alone so that I could have some friendly conversation. I was blown away at how responsive and friendly the bar tender was at this establishment. Of course the food was good, what Olive Garden does not have great food. They handle every special request I gave them down to making sure that there was a lot of Gnocchi in my soup ( I Love Gnocchi). It was definitely the waitstaff that will keep me coming back to this Restaurant.

I finally gave my friend R a break from trying the interesting yelp places to eat some good ol' Olive Garden. I must admit the Soup, Salad and Breadstick meal is always a winner (available for dinner for a slight upcharge, btw). My soup of choice is the Zuppa Toscana. If they ever did away with this soup, I would honestly have no reason to ever go back to OG. R got the Lasagna Fritta app as her main course - she gets this regularly and thought it tasted the same as at home in Ohio. It was our waitress's first day, which she told us AFTER we'd paid the bill (and I'd worked her over, asking her if she'd see if we could sub the Shrimp Scampi Fritta in the Make Your Own App Combo - unfortunately no - and asking her all kinds of questions about the boozy drinks). Large parking lot. Busy area. No wait the weeknight evening we were there.

Overall, the average Olive Garden, with sometimes good food and sometimes bad food. Just recently finished a complete remodel, which I love. The atmosphere of the place feels more high end and casual, with the prices being reasonable. The prices have increased a dollar since the remodel. The service is average, nothing spectacular. The food is hit and miss, and they now have smaller plates with the same portion of food. Overall, would come back again, but it depends on luck on whether it is good or is bad.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
