Decided to go for some Chinese food. This was the busiest of the few options we had. Turns out it's another Chinese buffet. Price was 9.99 since it was a Friday. Fridays and Saturdays are seafood night. Drinks not included. Huge restaurant. Quite a few options. Food was average. Don't bother with the fried shrimp, all breading. It's like salad shrimp breaded over and over and over to look like there's a decent size shrimp. Nope. There sesame chicken was good, lots of nice white meat, not a ton of breading. There were definitely a few items that should have been pulled and replaced. Staff was nice enough, but, there were two waitresses (?) at the front register who were so loud it was distracting. Dessert items to choose from very limited and no vanilla ice cream. Would not make a special trip back to this restaurant.

Great food at a great price. Perfect for a quick lunch for me. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Chicken wings on the lunch buffet are great.

We have been going here for over 10 years, and it USED TO BE a good restaurant but then the quality of the crab legs went from sweet to salty a while ago so we stopped going on crab night we then found JADE GARDEN down the street which is owned and run by a part of the family that owns peng garden and apparently they took the cook and heat with them. The quality of the food here NOW at is unacceptable and the temperature is warm at best the flavors are bland and all tastes the same not like MSG but like old deep fry oil WE WILL NOT BE BACK unless they do a 180* until then its not worth the measly $5 Nothing personal the service is fair the place is nice enough and prices are reasonable if the food didn't suck

Food selection was poor. All food was warm at best. Leaving even 1 crumb on a plate subjects you to an additional meal cost. One of the worst places to eat in my opinion. Any other place in town will provide better food. Avoid this place or risk a poor dinning experence.

We were in the Gulf Shores area for a few days and were looking for a Chinese restaurant. We happened upon this one on the main drag in Foley, S. McKenzie Street. It was a Monday night and there were only a few people in the place, but the buffet had ample food and it was hot and tasty. I especially liked the beef with peppers and onions, the chicken with vegetables, the chicken skewers, the barbequed pork and the green beans. It was inexpensive and the staff was helpful and friendly. We'd definitely go here again.

I called to get pricing before went. They said it was 7.95 for the buffett. When I went to pay they charged me 10.95. I complained that I was told 7.95 on the phone and they basically said oh well. I won't be returning there again. The food was ok. Tastes like every other Chinese buffett place. Our waitress was nice.

We've eaten here for close to a decade. A few years ago, crab legs were dropped from the buffet. Maintenance of the food bar also declined, so we looked elsewhere for oriental food. Over the last 8 months we have visited Peng Garden several times and each experience was pleasant. Today was no exception. The lunch buffet is $5.95. With drinks and tax our lunch for two cost $18.00 before the tip. Our server was polite and attentive without being obtrusive. We both like the hot and sour soup. The fried selections included standard fare and were all good, as was everything we selected. I finished my meal with some fruit, a cookie and a little ice cream. We left well satisfied with our meals and the price.

We went at 2:50 and lunch schedule ends at 3, so maybe that's why the selection wasn't great. A lot of the food was soggy and bland. Cheap meal ( less than six dollars per person). Quite some fried stuff (chicken, shrimp, fish). Service was good, as well. If you want Chinese food, not the best Chinese place, but if you want cheap food, it's better than the average fast food joint since it's cheap and you can eat as much as you want. I noticed that the dinner buffet was only $9.99 and included crab, shrimp, crawfish! They brought them out right before we left and it looked pretty fresh.
