After church we went to grab a bite at the only restaurant in Oakland, AL. The Oakland Gas Station and Restaurant. I love these country places. Friendly service, Good food, low prices. I had the Jan's Burger. Mozzarella cheese, bacon, grilled onion, special sauce and some tater tots. My wife had chicken fingers with fries. Mother in law had chicken and dressing (the special). All these were very tasty. The regular salad was typical for a place like this, lettuce, tomato, ranch. Nothing special there. They do take Visa here. When you are done, you can gas up at the one pump, and if you need it, grab some Off Road Diesel.
