The parking situation at Coffee Loft is pretty dire at times, but the fantastic espresso made up for any vehicular difficulties I ran into. Coffee is important to me, and it is always a little depressing to drink mediocre coffee while on the road. My usual drink, a quad-shot latte, was outstanding and fairly-priced. I'll be back whenever I'm in Fairhope.

This is a cool coffee shop! Love the staff, unique drinks, and non-dairy milk options. I haven't stayed and hung out yet, but I hope to soon! Everything I've had from there is made well, and the staff make sure you are happy. Coffee Loft has a rewards program, and they will store the card for you! So every time you stop in, you find it in the little box and have them stamp it. It's a good system for those who don't want to keep up with so many cards.

I want to like this place. I really do. It's so cute and old and funky. And it's a Fairhope institution. You always see someone you know. But the parking is always a problem, the service is slow, and the seating is almost as scarce as the parking. They even had a power failure the other day and someone from the kitchen shouted for everyone to unplug everything from the walls. It's good coffee, but to me, it's just not worth the hassle.

Great atmosphere and the coffee is borderline jet fuel. I seriously had panic attacks the first few months of drinking their regular coffee. I'm actually still having the caffeine induce panic attacks but I'm learning how to harness them for good.

Very cute place! Excellent coffee. They have lots of "fancy" coffee drinks like almond roca. We stuck with basic soy lattes and we're not disappointed. They also have some fruit smoothies and baked goods. Very obviously a hit place with the locals-everyone seemed to know everyone.

Back in the day, I would have given Coffee Loft 5 stars. Sam was the bomb and made sure you had a relaxed and awesome time. They put Ice Rageouses on the map. I have so many memories here. Their Ice Rageouses are amazing, and their quiches are also really delicious. We always used to come here to support our local businesses and to get a wonderful cup of coffee for much cheaper than any chain. The last time I came in here, I paid $6 for a regular sized Ice Rageous. They have significantly upped their prices and have done away with selling a ton of local art pieces. Now they feature one or two artists rather than providing rotating expos. They even got ride of the old red lumpy couch! I will still go to Coffee Loft because I don't want them to go out of business. I'm afraid that these outrageous prices are because of bad business. Who knows. I love the ambience and atmosphere of hipster chic, but I think they are trying to lose that vibe now.

The coffee loft is definitely a gem and has become a staple for my visits home. It has firmly established itself as an institution in town and I love that it has kept its kitschy and funky atmosphere in the yuppie sea that is Fairhope. My only gripe is that the wi-fi is often down and that the drinks are crazy expensive. I don't mind paying more to support local business, but my last purchase (a single large latte) came to $8 after tip.

This is my go to place when im in Fairhope it is appropriately located on the outskirts of the downtown area. It is a pleasant change from the more upscale feel of downtown but keeps the artsy part of Fairhope intact all while making a high quality coffee without the pretentiousness of Starbucks. The first time I went in I asked for a recommendation and have stuck with my order to this day. They have grown accustomed to me. As soon as I walk in they are able to start making my drink without any hesitation, I love that kind of service. They even sell cool art created by locals. If you plan on visiting Fairhope I recommend you stop off at The Coffee Loft

This place is very cute! We came here after a Mardi Gras parade and felt comfortable enough to spread out on the sofa and count up our moonpies. The staff were very friendly, made some great recommendations, although a bit spacey. The prices are a bit steep for any of the specialty items and mine didn't taste particularly amazing as I was hoping. But with enough trial and errors, I'm sure they do make some amazing blends and next time I might even try the brewed creme brulee coffee which sounded delish and I don't know why I didn't get it. The place is decorated kinda off-beat and has cute sayings up that we ended up taking pictures with - as we were on vacation and this is a great place when stopping by. Or if you live here, I'd definitely visit often, kitschy coffee shops like The Coffee Loft are the best!

Nice local coffee shop with free wifi (ask for the password). Friendly and knowledgable hip staff. Nice cup of non-corporate coffee - stop by and hang. Good music too!

Cool place. If the coffee pot is low, just say something and they'll brew you a fresh one. Chill atmosphere for locals and tourists. Read a paper or a book or browse the interweb for as long as you want. Leather furniture. Friendly chicas behind the counter.

Friendly staff....good coffee...food was eh...decor was 'distressed minimalist' HUGE round tables w/ two chairs...perfect for taking on the New York Times crossword, if it was printed in size 64 font...that's how big the tables are....sat down and the music playing quite loudly was the entirety of The Rolling Stones Tattoo You albumy...great record...but not for my first cup of the morning...though my first cup was at 9:30 today...I'm sure the staff had been buzzing for hours by the...not a bad joint...it has potential...

Best coffee shop in town. A great place to hang out or read. Ask for a neapolitan icerageous. You'll thank me.

Great coffee house hidden off the main route. Great latte, many favors both regular and sugar free. Had our breakfast items to go: very good quiche, cinnamon rolls and bagel (though ours was toasted a little too much). Fun place to sit on a couch or outside table. Customer service was great and very enjoyable...wonderful way to start the day.

Never disappointing, always good! LOVE just about everything here. My latest favorite is an iced mocha..it's rich and SO good! I'm also a fan of just their coffee. Always hot and fresh. Dont forget to ask for a card to punch because the more you buy the closer you get to a freebie. The staff is always nice and the atmosphere is very cool and laid back. Love checking out all the local papers at the door to read.

Nice local coffee shop with free wifi (ask for the password). Friendly and knowledgable hipstery staff. Large shop with local art on the walls and lots of room - plenty of couches and tables. Strangely, bathrooms are cramped - ok, tiny. But for a nice cup of non-corporate coffee - stop by and hang. Good music too!

I am impressed by how well managed this coffee shop is. The only negative is the Wi Fi seems to always "be down" I will re-rate coffee loft with a 5 star when the Internet works

Very cozy and comfortable atmosphere, and I love the hot vanilla chai tea here. It's the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. I don't drink coffee, but my husband is a huge coffee fiend and always wants to stop here when we're in Fairhope.

After having owned and operated a coffee shop, I can honestly say the Coffee Loft is one of the best coffee houses in the Mobile-Baldwin area for coffee and espresso. Their focus on quality beans (Illy) and consistent technique means that your drink is always good. The espresso shots aren't bitter and your milk is not scalded. The atmosphere is very relaxed and they make pretty good wraps.

coffee drink was fine. bunch of kids hanging around. paid $4 for drink and then they wanted 25 cents for a small water. It use to be much better than it is now. I suppose wanting 25 cents for a water is intended to ward off the kids but it did not appear to work.

This is truly my favorite coffee shop of all time. They have a wide variety of coffee, espresso, and tea, all of which are excellent; the staff is laid-back and friendly and knowledgeable; the atmosphere is enticing, as it feels like home, but more fun- always packed & buzzing with energy. I frequented the Coffee Loft practically everyday throughout high school- it was pretty much my friends' and my #1 hang-out spot, and our band even played a few great/surreal shows there. Whenever I am in town, it is the first place I want to visit.
