Definitely not a place I will come to again. Staff is very uneducated on food and drinks, and also not very personable, with the exception of the bartender. They apparently have 25 spice levels, but don't do a great job of explaining the difference between each. Just that they get hotter. Um, I knew that. They sat us near the bar and we asked to move since the music was blaring Pitbull from the TV. She said the other section was filled, when it clearly wasn't. We should have left at this point, but we were here and hungry and had high hopes for the food based on the previous reviews. 30 minutes more of Pitbull blaring, our food came out. Was it good? Yes. Was the order correct? No!! I ordered a Chicken Curry dish, and my friend ordered the lamb korma. Well I got a chicken korma, and he got a lamb curry.. FML... Never again!

Excellent service and food. I like it better than the one in Dothan. Been here a few times and tried most stuff on the menu

The outside and inside decor does not really match anything about this restaurant. What it doesn't have in decor it definitely makes up for in taste. I had an amazing meal that was piping hot as it literally was still sizzling on its trip to the table. I enjoyed every bite of my meal. The wait staff was curious and was sure to chat with you about life and if you needed your drink refilled. There are so many choices on the menu that it may be inconceivable to try them all.

If it wasn't for the food I don't know if I'd ever come back. When it first opened I loved the place. It wasn't the most authentic Indian ambience, but at least they had Bollywood music and videos playing which helped. Now your food is accompanied by the weather channel, shopping channels and loud dance club music on certain nights. Last time we went there the music was so loud our table and dishes were vibrating and I could not converse with my husband sitting next to me. The food though as always was delicious. I do feel that the place is somewhat confused in what it wants to be and who they want to cater to.

PERFECT! Butter chicken curry is my favorite but I haven't had a bad thing here yet. The staff is very knowledgable about their menu especially if it's your first go around with Indian/Mediterranean dishes. The beer list could be better. But the atomphosere and seating in the back is swanky and sexy perfect for date night or a first hot date. Moreover, I'm pretty sure they are offering hookah service here now!

Went there for the indian food and I'd have to say Taj in Enterprise did not disappoint. The food was authentic and on point. The indian menu has a pretty good spread. Taj serves a variety of dishes that many indian restaurants don't have on their menu, which was another plus for me. I'd have to say, I will be coming back again.

Combination of flavor and heat were spot on in all the dishes we tried.

Excellent food!! They adjust the spice level for you. I like level 8, just above jalapeño hot! Staff are very friendly and accommodating!!! Recommend highly!!

We have been to the enterprise location a couple times. The food is really good; however the service is extremely slow. Our group included 6+ people and it took forever for refills. Not to mention, it took 20 minutes to get our bill (we times it.) The cocktails drinks like jack/coke or vodka/soda are served in basically shot glasses. If they improved the service we would consider coming back. Oh and don't watch a sporting event here.... Music blaring in the background and strobe lights put a major glare on the tv.

I thought this location would be identical to the one in Dothan, which I have thoroughly enjoyed in the past...but let me say that it is NOT! Slow service to say the least. The food took almost an hour to be served. The lamb gyro is my favorite at the Dothan location, so I was expecting a delicious meal. But my lamb was dry, over cooked and almost burned. The toppings were pathetic and the flavor was lacking! My husband'a meal was equally gross. We won't be returning:(

This was horrible. Went for drinks and apps with family and friends. The first round took over fifteen minutes, and it was just kamikaze shots. It seemed like the bartender has no idea what he was doing and had to be walked through it. Then it took another fifteen minutes just to get our drinks which were terrible. The mango margaritas were heartburn in a glass. Pure sour mix, a dash of mango purée and some ice. No tequila to be found, not even a like to garnish it. Next, the two long islands came out completely wrong. Usually we will take what we order but these had to be returned. They tasted like 100% lemon juice and were painful to drink. We declined their offer to remake them, afraid of what we would get. Instead we ordered two kamikazes on the rocks which were bearable so it was ok. One person in the party then attempted to order a beer to which three of the four he ordered were out. Basically everything on the drink list was out of date and out of stock, so he settled for a blue moon. We only stayed for three rounds of drinks because it took a minimum of ten minutes to receive the drinks we ordered and even longer for the waitress to check on us. She was terrible. We would sit for ample amounts of time with empty drinks before she would even think to check on us. Lastly, at the end of our the visit the manager approached our table to tell us they had used the wrong juice to make the awful long islands they served us after the bartender argued with us that I was a Long Island and did attempt to compensate with a couple appetizers. They were both terrible but can't complain. At least the manager tried to make up for our visit. I would not return.

This place is horrible for dinner. Very loud pit bull music in an Indian restaurant? This place is very strange. We were seated in a small area behind the bar when the rest of the restaurant side was wide open. We had to ask 3 times to turn down the RAVE music (and they never turned it down to any normal levels). I don't understand the concept of this place. Its a restaurant with a night club on one side (were we sat) and they serve 3 different cuisines. If you need 3 different cuisines to round out your menu, chances are none are good enough to stand on their on. I think they are hoping for quantity to beat out quality. I have to say I thought the food tasted pretty decent. But they completely dorked up the order. They mixed the meals up. this might be because there is just so many different things on the menu they can't even keep track. I also ordered regular Na-an bread but gave me Garlic Na-an instead. When i told the waitress that's not what we ordered she said "well, you'll like this more. your welcome"....WTH? It was cold. so i am thinking they had an extra order and was just trying to give it out to someone. Avoid this place.

New to Enterprise and thought I'd check this place out...happy I did! Ordered grape leaves and a lamb gyro. Everything was perfectly seasoned and really enjoyed the rice that came with the gyro. I recommend this place for anyone looking for Greek food. Oh, and it's open late which bests fast food in my book any day!

Great Clean and Very Friendly atmosphere. I've eaten here about a dozen times now and everything that I've tried so far has been excellent.

All food I have ever had has been great. Order a bit on the hotter side as it tends to be a little toned down. Drink specials are usually there and the coat is as expected.

Visiting a family member from San Diego and decided to eat here for Indian food. I wasn't expecting a lot as far as taste goes considering that its a small town. I was surprised the Indian food was really good! Tasted very authentic. We ordered Chicken Tika Masala, Garlic Naan, Poori, Eggplant Bharta, Biryani and Methi Paneer. Better than most Indian Restaurants I've been to in San Diego. So needless to say I was impressed.

Great Indian Food for a small town! Love the naan, gyros, and Chicken Tikka Masala. This place also has lunch buffet for those who want to experiment with some new flavors.

Not to bad...a little expensive and but good food. Decor leaves a little to be desired but good staff and they're friendly and helpful with a first visit if you're not familiar with Indian food

I've been to the Dothan restaurant several times. Dining here you need to understand that it is a whole new restaurant, with a whole new staff. The owner has been there every visit (his wife is running the Dothan one for now), and he is monitoring everything like a hawk and trying to make this work. He values customer input and makes things right. My first visit my food was subpar, my wife's was quite good. I usually order Vindaloo and it should have a spicy and slightly sour/vinegary taste -- instead it was sweet and the spices were off. I believe they used the wrong kind of peppers. I mentioned it to the owner as he came around checking -- he said he is still working on it with the Chef. I returned again and ordered the Tikka Masala -- which is their #1 dish in the Dothan location. It's also a pretty easy to execute dish compared to Vindaloo. It turned out pretty good and my wife's dish was pretty good too. My third visit I had the vindaloo again -- it was markedly improved. It was on par with the Dothan location and again my wife's good was good too. My fourth visit some time later now, I tried the Vindaloo and it was out of this world good. Simply one of the best vindaloos a have had in a restaurant. The service was great as well. Fifth visit: great waiter and great food! My wife tried the Italian here for the first time and it was actually pretty good too!

So happy this has opened in Enterprise. I'm an Army spouse transplanted from Brooklyn so I need food variety in my life, and this is DELICIOUS Indian food in a very relaxing atmosphere. Can't believe it's in Enterprise, AL, the land of the corn dog. The staff is not as familiar with Indian food as I wish (I asked for mushroom saag and our waitress didn't know what saag was) but they'll get there. In the meantime: amazing spiced meat samosas! great chicken tikka masala! shrimp methi curry to die for! The bread was pretty good (we had garlic naan and aloo paratha) not as fluffy as we hoped, but the papadam and amazing onion chutney made it worthwhile. Go go go!

Get the Butter Chicken (Level 7) with Garlic Naan. You'll be back the next day. Yes, it's that good. Unfortunately, other than those two items the food is just okay and the menu is overpriced for lower Alabama - hence the 3-star rating. Make no mistake though, the butter chicken is a 4-star dish. Best times to get this meal? When it's raining or if you feel a cold coming on.

I was visiting from California and was surprised to see an Indian restaurant in little Enterprise, AL. This was a welcome surprise for me after having spent a week of eating strictly southern food. I have to say the food here was better than any I've had in my California hometown and we have at least 10 Indian restaurants! I can't say I will be back since I don't live in AL but I do have to recommend this restaurant to y'all southerners. If you haven't checked it out, you need to. The food was outstanding and the service was friendly and attentive.

My family and I had dinner here the other evening. It's obvious they are a new restaurant and still working out the kinks in service and the menu. It was quite interesting to find a restaurant that featured Indian, Italian and Greek food. My family and I stuck to the Indian food and ordered a small soup, beef samosas (a little dry.. next time I will stick to the potato samosa), a full tandoori chicken, two types of naan and a curry. My husband, three children and I shared all the dishes family style. The flavors were authentic and very tasty, but the servings were rather small. I was particularly disappointed in the portion size of the tandoori chicken, which to me seemed paltry for $14. $2.59 for my iced tea, which to me seems a little high. Our bill totaled to about $50. Our server seemed a little disoriented and didn't check on us after our food had arrived to see if we needed anything else. I overheard another worker telling another table (three Indian males) that she didn't know much because she was just the bartender. The owner did stop by towards the ending of our meal and I let him know my concerns about the portion sizes. He inquired if I had ever had Indian food before, to which I informed him yes, we just moved from Hawaii and we have several great Indian restaurants there. He informed us they are still new (other location in Dothan) and working things out at this location. The menu doesn't explain much about the food, so anyone that is unfamiliar with Indian food may have a hard time or have to rely on your waitress to explain (hope you get one that knows the menu). They offer heat level on a scale of 1 to 10, or you can get Indian hot, which would be a 12. Since I was dining with my children, I ordered a heat level of 1, which was just fine for them. I thought the food was delicious but will wait a few more weeks until they are settled and have things figured out. I think this could be a fantastic restaurant with improvements to their service, menu and perhaps a little adjusting to their prices that correlate with the portions they serve.

Very solid Indian food especially for rural Alabama. The fresh baked na'an was on par with some of the best I've ever had. I tried the Tandoori Chicken at spicy level 7 as I wasn't sure where the scale ranked based on my personal preference. I'll probably go with the 10 next time I'm there, but I'm from Texas and enjoy spicy food. Excellent blend of flavors and spice. You also get a good amount of food for the money. I'll definitely go again. ]I'll probably try the buffet some time in the near future. (7 days a week during lunch)

The food is great and the service is too! I am very happy that we can add Taj to the list of good places in Enterprise. I only wish they were open on Mondays at lunch.

I had never really experienced Indian food before coming here and I'd have to say, Taj has made me a huge fan! I've been multiple times with large parties, as well as with two or three people and the service has always been wonderful. Very courteous, quick, and attentive, especially on top of refilling drinks and checking back to make sure we're not in need of anything. The garlic naan is amazing! I've had multiple curry dishes and each was more delicious than the last! I even was adventurous and tried the Goat Korma Curry and was surprised at how delicious and tender the meat was and how the curry complimented it so nicely. The Butter Chicken Curry was also very delicious, but the most surprising menu item would have to beef the gyro! I've had gyro's from all over including various parts of Europe and I would have to say it ranks right up there with some of the best. Absolutely delicious!

My family went in here tonight, excited that Taj has opened a restaurant near us, as we love Indian food. I have never been to the Dothan Taj so I can't compare the two. They do pre-broken fried papadum with a couple of dips to start . I enjoyed the chopped onion dip the most. We also had the app platter - I was quite happy with everything and the cilantro chutney was great with the samosa. For our mains, we had a mix of vegetarian entrees. The restaurant has a heat scale of 1-10. We got Aloo Gobi at a 5, Paneer Makhani at an 8, and Veggie Korma at a 3. Now every dish was delicious. The korma wasn't my favorite ever korma but it was still quite good. However, the aloo gobi and the makhani were just as we like them and a pleasant surprise. We also had Garlic Naan with our order and it was very nice. My husband, myself, and our 10 year old daughter were pleased with everything. As for the review stating that the serving sizes were small, I personally found that they were about the same size and price as they have been at every Indian restaurant I've ever gone to. (except for delivery which always gives a bit more bang for your buck) They even used the same types of serving dishes I am used to seeing - almost identical to the ones I often saw in Toronto. As a bonus, they played a variety of Indian music videos on the various telies and the seating was quite comfortable. small issues: I would recommend that if you truly enjoy spicy foods, you ask for things at a 12 on the 1-10 scale. The item we ordered at an 8 was more like a 4 or maybe a 5 on my scale. I can certainly understand why they would heat things conservatively but everything was quite mild. This in no way detracted from the excellence of the meal - but now I know for next time. Our waiter struggled a bit at understanding our order but he was very sweet and he did eventually bring someone in to make sure everything was correct. (and everything came out exactly as ordered) So, although he has a bit of practice to do, you can clearly tell that he very much wants to give you great service and he makes sure you get exactly what you ask for. Overall, this place is an awesome addition to the area restaurants if you are vegetarian or if you love meat and just enjoy a good Indian meal. They have lots and lots of meat dishes as well. We will certainly be returning to try out the buffet and give it a review.

E'prise Scores It's First Indian Eatery--It's a great first start! We dined during a mild lunch rush with my older parents who were up for something different. The touted breadth of choices--Indian, Greek, Italian--fit the bill! Pros: - The interior decor looks much better than the outside. - The large flat panel TVs play fun Bollywood movies (yes, lots of random singing & dancing). - Tremendous menu variety. - The tikka masala curry had a great flavor. - Free app from 11 am-1 pm & Indian "chips" with mint sauce & tamarind sauce. - Nice, friendly staff. - The tandoori chicken was the best in town. Granted I've had much better elsewhere and this is the only tandoori chicken in town. - Kids grilled cheese sandwich was served as cheese in a folded over naan--wonderful! - Dad's steak panini was overloaded with great stuff! - Mom enjoyed her chicken tikka masala curry & had never eaten Indian food before. - The server was willing to sub fruit from the salad bar (turned out to just be standard canned fruit cocktail) in my kids' meals since they don't really like fries for no additional charge or fuss. Cons: - $2.60 listed for cokes. Really? - The lunch prices are still $9-15. - Overall prices are quite steep for E'prise. Family of 4 including 2 kids meals: $30+ including tip--remember, this is lunch time. - Drinks were a long time coming and the meal arrival timing was way off. My half dinner portion of tandoori chicken came first, then my rice, then two orders of chicken tikka masala curry, then..., then... It all came out in waves. This is a major dining faux pas. If it came out in two or even three large tray-loads, that'd be one thing. - No naan with a dinner portion like mine? Whatever. - The steak panini came with no side dish. So did the lunch portion of tandoori chicken. So for $2 more I sprung for the dinner 1/2 portion--so basically I ended up paying $2 for a small bowl of basmati rice with curry sauce over it. Not worth it. It's rice, people. Granted the basmati rice was good, but basmati rice should be good--but not $2 good. - Apparently they (and the Dothan location) used to have a buffet, but no longer. Overall: - A great start for Indian food in town. - The food was good--not great, but good. - The prices are steep (lunch prices are $9-15; dinner $9-20) and you may have to try a few things from the menu before finding stuff you like if you've never had Indian or Greek. - I would've much preferred a buffet.

Great food. A treasure considering the location... Can you imagine going to rural India and finding a southern comfort food establishment that made great biscuits and gravy, fried chicken, and apple pie to boot? We've tried several dishes, we have yet to be let down. I usually get the gyro for takeout, max spicy. They have their 'spicy' scale, then they have their additional spicy levels. Tell them you want more then what they initially offer. Definitely worth your time and money.

I love Indian food and have tried many places in other states, so I was excited to see an option here in Alabama. Unfortunately it's just not the same, If you try this food and hate it give Indian food another try if you move out of state.

I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive in trying this restaurant. The facility itself isn't that great. But then again, I am there for the food right? The Indian offerings are different than what I usually get then I figured out that I usually do the buffet which was not available because it was a Sunday. The waitress was awesome. She asked several questions and then made a recommendation. She also asked about how spicy I wanted it on a 1-10 scale and even defined a five. Good job! Can you say YUMMY? The meal was large. Way too much for me to do in one sitting. I was staying at a hotel so wasn't going to take the leftovers with me but the waitress urged me to do so. Glad I did. One of the best breakfasts I have had in quite a while. Ok, so here is the bummer and it is not a restaurant issue. The City of Enterprise doesn't allow the sale of alcoholic beverages anytime on a Sunday so be aware if you want a glass of wine with your meal you'll have to go elsewhere.

Went when it first opened in Sep 2012. Service was what you would expect from a restaurant trying to find its way; awful. The food was okay, but the owner was committed and passionate. He took the time to talk to everyone and discuss the food, and what it pairs well with, and would offer small tastes of other items on the menu. If it had not been for the owner we would have wrote it off. Went back in Dec 2012, food was okay, service was still terrible, but the owner was still there injecting his passion. The problem was this: It is an ethnic Indian restaurant in the middle of lower Alabama, and no one on the staff cared to learn about the food. When we asked the staff what they liked, they said "i've never eaten here, and I've worked here three months." As a customer that tells you something. Nothing good though. No matter how much the owner cares, he will not succeed with his staff so apathetic beyond anything other than collecting a pay check. Third time is the charm, we tried one final time in Feb 2013. We were welcomed, seated, and sat there for twenty minutes, the waitress walked by us a dozen times, and pointedly did not look at us, or acknowledge our presence. During this time, the hostess disappeared into the back. One of the staff was at the front counter and was pointedly looking at his computer screen the entire time. After ten minutes, I got up to use the restroom and casually see what he was doing and ask for service. He was checking facebook on the company computer, and said the waitress should be right out. After twenty minutes of just water from the hostess, and no waitress introduction we left. It is no wonder to me why the parking lot went from packed during their grand opening to only two cars at any other peak time. It should be noted there is also another establishment in Dothan under the same name owned by the same owner, that receives great word-of-mouth reviews, but after this experience anything is suspect.

India is the birth place of Chicken Tikka Masala and Curries. Indian foods are prepared with a blend of finely mixed spices quite popular across the region. The spices develop the rich taste in Indian food enough to boggle your mind. The ever-increasing fan base of Indian food around the New York city is steadily increasing because of the large number of Indians who traveled to the land of dreams. The Indians also brought their very own vibrant, colorful, and aromatic authentic dishes for the people in the West. While most of the Indian population is Vegetarian, Indian food is great for people who are looking for vegan or vegetarian food option. If you are a Meat lover, don't get disappointed yet. Indian food also boasts of some popular non-vegetarian dishes too. Few examples are the famous Butter Chicken, Mutton Biryani and Tandoori Chicken are enough to satisfy your taste buds.

Indian food has gained reputation all over the world especially in the United States. You can find many places serving the appetizing Indian food across all major cities in the US. India is a diverse country with different food culture originated from different parts of the country. While the Northern region boasts tandoori dishes and korma offering royal taste, the Western Ghats offers sea foods that is made in naturally sweet tender coconut milk. The South Indian food servers a quality of different dishes made from rice accompanied with spicy chutneys, curries and famous sambhar. Also, the Indian sweets are a delight to relish. If you ever want to have a burst of sugar syrup in mouth, don't forget to try few Bengali Sweets. Be it spicy, tangy, or sweet flavor, you can find everything in the Indian cuisine. Be assured that the melody of spices will surely bring delight to you.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
