My husband and I went to this restaurant last night for out 4 year wedding anniversary. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the service was amazing! We ordered calamari for the appetizer. Then the veal parmesan for the main course. Finally, a cannoli for a desert. They even had little homemade dinner rolls to go with the meal. All of it was fresh and hot. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The price is low. The menu is simple. We originally went to Taj and we didn't even end up ordering anything because the service was bad. We had never heard of Milano's until we looked it up on Yelp. I would recommend this place to anyone. I will return again.

Love Milano's. They have great lasagna and bread knots. The staff is very friendly. The sweet tea is a little too sweet, but other than that everything is great. I will definitely have lunch here again.

Milano's is a small, family owned Italian restaurant. They have been in the Enterprise area for about 10 years. They are planning to open another location nearby soon. I checked in at about 1:30p, sparse crowd, pleasant, casual decor...cozy, but comfortable. My first time here, so I went with the pasta daily special, which today was ziti. It comes smothered in a meat-marinara sauce, with 2 homemade, round, garlic rolls. I also ordered a small house salad with blue-cheese dressing, and sweet tea...$10 even. You order at the register for lunch, there of course was no one in line. The meal was served promptly and pleasantly. I sat outside on a nice, clean table, one of about 4. The pasta and rolls were fresh and delicious, the tea and salad were standard fare, but good. The waiter/owner was very attentive throughout, and my overall experience was 4 1/2 star. Keep in mind though that this was a late lunch, but based on this visit, I will be returning.

This was my husband and I's first time there. It started out okay, and quickly went bad. We waited 10 mins to get silverware and menus. Then we were met with attitude about being out of diet coke?... Neither of us wanted diet coke.. We ordered a fried calamari and waited another 30 mins while watching other tables wait just as long for salad and bread. When the app came to to table, it seemed weird so my husband tried them and said they were cold and rubbery. So I tried them and discovered that it was true. We had our salads and plain bland cold bread at the table so we tried to eat that while trying to get the attention of I guess the owner who was behind the bar. When we told her about the calamari she said "you don't like it? It's good." I said no we don't like it sorry it's rubbery and cold. She got our waiter and he asked what the problem was. When we told him, he said okay you don't like? And points to the door. Basically kicking us out. We hadn't even received the entries. Horrible!! We have never been here and we will never return. They have some serious ego problems and they won't be in business much longer if this is how they treat all customers.

Ate here for the first time tonight. It wasn't too bad. My husband said the turnover (calzone) was really good. I had the chicken alfredo. It was alright. It needed a little more sauce but the flavor was decent.

Had spinach ravioli with chicken and my husband had a pizza with chicken, spinach and artichokes and both dishes were wonderful! We will be back!

As an Italian girl from NJ, I like to think I know authentic Italian food. This was, by no means, authentic. Pesto was horrible, chicken alfredo came with fried chicken on top & the bread wasn't even fresh. Flavors just weren't impressive. I would rank this restaurant lower than I would even rank Olive Garden. I will not be returning...

If you are in the mood for a calzone then this is your place. I had the supreme calzone and could only finish half, I had the other half for lunch the next day. My wife had a trio of pastas and one was great and the other two where just ok. It is family friendly, but I think it would be better served as a date night place because of the cozy atmosphere. Everyone that works there seem to be Italian so that adds to the atmosphere.

I can't believe this place has as many stars as it does! This place sucks worse than Olive Garden! My husband and I ordered Lasagna, Chicken Alfredo, Ziti, Onion Rings, Green Beans, and a Large Pizza. The Chicken alfredo was disgusting! I have never seen fried chicken served with alfredo. It was so badly fried that the batter peeled away from the chicken before I could even bite into it. Also, the alfredo sauce was the most disgusting sauce ever. I swear to you, that ish was hot milk cooked with flour in it, sooooooo gross! No flavor at all. The Lasagna tasted pretty good, however there was only meat and cheese in half the lasagna, the other half was just pasta stacked on each other. Very cheap and very small portion for $11.99. My husband said the ziti sucked, the pasta was overcooked, didn't seem like the strained the pasta because there was water mixed in the with sauce. The pizza was also frozen, not fresh, you can tell because of the way the cheese on the entire pizza slid off the crust. The onion rings and fried green beans were soggy and the marinara sauce was just diced tomatoes put in a sauce container. BTW, their friggin meatballs taste exactly like the ones at Olive Garden, grey meat, super salty and has the consistency of a sponge, like it's was put through a processor. This place is NOT AUTHENTIC REAL ITALIAN FOOD...it's a damn joke. C'mon, at LEAST give an effort......

This place used to have great food and service, but not any more. I ordered a slice of supreme pizza ($3.99) and a small Caesar ($3.50). The salad came on a plate about 4" across and had a few romaine leaves, a couple of chopped olives and about three store-bought croutons topped with a bottled dressing. The "supreme" pizza slice was about the size of your hand. The crust was good, but anyone could have made a much better pizza at home from a boxed Chef Boyardee and some green olives. But the worst thing was the service. One poor waiter trying to serve every table. The place had a pretty good crowd but a lot of them left before getting their food because it was taking forever. I don't see how they stay in business.

I visited this restaurant a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised. The owners are originally from Italy so their food is as authentic as you would expect for the area. They have been open for over 5 years and unfortunately are in the process of selling their restaurant(they said they enjoyed the area but just are ready to move on). It's a nice, clean little restaurant, that has a pizzeria feel to it. I ordered the pasta with a simple marinara sauce, it was very flavorful and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The fresh bread had plenty of garlic and butter which added to the meal. Get there quick before they sell!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
