BETTER THAN THE MEXICAN RESTAURANTS BACK HOME IN CALIFORNIA! We were missing our favorite Mexican food. We did not have high expectations for finding a good Mexican restaurant in Enterprise. WE WERE SO WRONG! I ordered the steak fajitas dinner, my son had the beef enchilada dinner and my ordered steak al carbon tacos with a side of beans. We also had the guacamole and chips My steak fajitas were the best I have ever had anywhere! The steak and veggies were done perfectly and the portion was huge. The steak fajitas was delicious! My husband and son raved about their dinners too. The guacamole is so yummy and so was the salsa. Now this is authentic Mexican food done right! We have four more days here and we know where to eat in Enterprise now. I will dream about this place for a long time at least until our next visit. I almost forgot besides having great portions the prices are great! We are visiting family in Enterprise and we are from California and our county (Santa Clara County) is home to some fabulous Mexican restaurants (& there literally hundreds of Mexican restaurants). Our main city is San Jose & the county has over 1.8 million people and 28% are Hispanic. P.S. last year when we visited our daughter she took us to another Mexican restaurant in Enterprise and my momma always said if you do not have something nice to say then say nothing at all. I have nothing to say about the other place. But we love Labamba, they know how to make authentic Mexican food.

The food is usually incredibly salty, the servers never seem to know what's going on around them and aren't attentive in the least bit, but they have some decent food. I wouldn't say it's anywhere near the best Mexican food I've had, but it's edible. Try a couple things on the menu and you're sure to find something you like.

The service was good. The food was just so -so. There was a slight metallic taste to the fajitas.

BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN TOWN! Another nice thing: If you go to restaurant.com you can get a $10 gift card for six dollars good for purchases of $15 or more. So, you and a date can go eat two meals, drinks and an appetizer for $20 or less. The Chorizo Queso is delicious, and worth mentioning because we did not try it until our last visit, and it was amazing! One of my favorites was a combo with chille relleno, quesadilla, and taco with beans and rice. I would request the quesadilla changed to a quesadilla verde, and they were always happy to oblige with no additional fee. Take the time to visit, you won't regret it.

Food is just meh...No where near authentic and pretty flavorless. I ordered the tacos; he got a burrito. They kept the chips and salsa coming, but nothing special there either. I did notice $1.99 happy hour margaritas. Very good deal! The large table of obnoxious, young military guys didn't help. None of the wait staff requested they keep their f-bombs or yelling about alcohol to a minimum. Probably won't go back, unless every other Mexican restaurant in Enterprise is as so-so as this one.

Awesome....The restaurant is always clean, the staff is always friendly and attentive. The food is always delicious and we have never had to wait long.

The dinner started off horrible. The moment I sat down my friend said he felt something on his foot. We didn't think of it twice until he felt it again. We used a flashlight to find a cockroach crawling on the ground. We killed it and said to ourselves that it's just a bug, I'm sure things can't get any worse. Next the house margarita was nothing but a fruit drink. Very sweet with little to no alcohol. Finally the food was ok, but nothing special. In addition the service was mediocre to poor. Won't be coming back as long as I'm here.

Great Mexican food! The house margarita is good and reasonably priced. Love the chicken quesadilla, queso dip, everything I've had has been good.

It took a bit to get our food, but the wait was worth it. The chicken fajita meat was delicious. The onions were sweet and tasty. Even the kids chicken tenders were good. The salsa served with the chips wasn't that great. I will return for another meal.

Great food. Fast Service. Great selection and great deals in the Specials Menu on the back of the Menu. Love the atmosphere. Flavor rich food. Been there 3 times with my wife and 3 teen-age kids; they all loved it too.

I go here often and the food is pretty good. The first time I went about seven or eight months ago, my food was INCREDIBLY salty but apparently that was just an "off" night with a substitute cook or something, because the food has tasted fine every other time I've eaten here. I usually get the #47, which is three tacos with rice and beans, and it really does hit the spot when I miss the Mexican restaurants I used to frequent before I moved. Now, they don't have the best margaritas, because they taste too "mix" like, but when I order the one with the little Corona turned over in it, the taste is more balanced and it's a really good drink. It's not the BEST Mexican food I've had--that honor would go to El Vaquero in Columbus, GA--but it's better than the others I've tried in Enterprise.

Food was great... Been here twice both for date night with my husband and we enjoyed ourselves. Of course our waiter could barely speak English but enough for us to understand a few things & for him to take our order. Manager made us feel very comfortable by making sure we were taken care of & that we tasted their signature queso dip. I would give them a 5 star unfortunately I feel like they should hire people who can actually speak a little better English

I wish I could give more stars. Food was great but after eating I was just looking around and saw a FREAKING COCKROACH on the wall above our booth. I almost vomited. Needless to say, my husband and j have NOT been back since. They need to have a major, major clean up and I would like documentation of the board of health reviewing this place. Maybe they should give them a surprise visit...

We decided to try this place out today since many of my husband's friends recommended it. Worst decision ever! Nothing really caught my eye, so I played it safe and ordered the crispy beef tacos. The ground beef was bland, no flavor whatsoever. There was more lettuce, tomatoes and cheese than there was beef. My husband ordered a torta (mexican style sandwich), it was not made with the traditional bread, the meat was way over salted and you could taste the grease oozing out of the fries. The horchata was disgusting, it's not homemade, it's a powdered drink mix. The waiter seemed un knowledgable of the menu when asked questions. Definitely NOT authentic mexican food. Sorry, but I give this place two thumbs down!

Let me start by saying this place has great food and normally it's pretty damn fast. Your experience all depends on your server. A good percentage of the servers are straight up dicks. I wish I could remember the good ones names. Needless to say if you want to eat somewhere that you know the service could be bad then go for it. Customer Service Consultant needed!!

This places is awful. The service is slow, and the servers seem like they're mad. There is a strong language barrier, and the servers consistently make you feel like you're bothering them. It is also a hassle for them to split checks. I would not recommend coming here.

La Bamba looks a little run down but I liked how closed off the booths were from the rest of the restaurant so you have some privacy. We went at a slow time but didn't get that awkward feeling of being alone in a big restaurant. My husband got the fajitas Texanas which was really good. The queso was delicious. But, I wasn't impressed with the carne asada. It wasn't bad just not very good either. Our server was friendly and our food came out very quickly.

This place was fantastic!! Definitely get the margarita in the rocks! Service was super attentive, food came out just in time to finish a drink and get a buzz. Pretty authentic... And I'm from Texas! Hahaha. I really felt like I was still in Texas while I was eating here. But that margarita! THE BEST I have ever had!

La Bamba is the best Mexican restaurant in Enterprise. Their house margarita is excellent and I get the Queso Flameado every time.

Considering we're quite a ways from the border, I'm skeptical when it comes to "authentic" Mexican. Well, this place did not disappoint. The food is fantastic; the drinks are hit or miss. I have had good margaritas and so/so margaritas (on the rocks). The portions are large and I usually find myself going home with lunch for the following day.

Best Chile Relleno I've ever had. :) the house margarita is really good. Its NOT packed full of sour mix. Careful, a medium is huge!

Lived here for 6 months and I can't believe I waited so long to try this place! How many places are there in Enterprise with awesome margaritas AND good food? Chips and salsa are even on the table within 30 seconds. The quesadillas are my favorite. Home-made tortillas, steak, chicken, queso, peppers, onions, and guac salad for $6.50. After a really long day at work, I told my boyfriend that fajita quesadilla was the best I had in my entire life! :) UNLIKE the other restaurants in Enterprise, nothing here seems frozen (except the margaritas!). The atmosphere is cozy, the place seems pretty clean, and the servers are always moving with purpose. This is my new lunch spot and Friday night drink spot.

My food was cold and tasteless. I've never seen enchilada sauce like the kind they use, it must be out of a can. Gross. I will never go back.

I probably eat here more than anywhere else and have tried a LOT of things on the menu. The chicken fajitas and the chicken enchilada are my favorites. The service is always fast. The price is right. The drinks are huge and there are chips and salsa on the table almost as soon as you sit down. The atmosphere is appropriate. My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area!

This is the second best mexican place in the area. It has a friendly staff, and good food. I alway order the fajita quesadillas, they are amazing. I usually eat one, and save the other for the next day. If you don't feel like driving to dothan, then this place is a nice alternative.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
