I gave 4 stars for the service. Food is okay. It's not the best you've ever had but satisfying if you're hungry. Fast as hell service. The margarita is amazazing

This review is based on the buffet and the margarita, but I will update when I return for round two, which could be tonight! :) This is the worlds cheapest mexican buffet at 6.50 for dinner! Good fajitas and some chicken roll type thing. Beans, rice and the usual items were all hot and fresh. If you only want to order one drink the whole evening, you can get the large margarita which has got to be at least 48ozs!! SCORE!!! 10-6-07 Update After my second visit, I am pleased to announce that I am upgrading their rating to four stars. A pal and I went here during the week and the menu food was better than the buffet. score indeed... :)

We just moved here from California and being as me and my wife are Hispanic we really wanted to find some good Mexican food specifically CARNE ASADA FRIES!!! I called to ask ahead if they made them the girl that answerd seem confused at my question and so I just went in. I got there and explained to her what exactly I mean which is basically supreme nachos but instead of chips it's fries! The girl was very nice and asked her dad (the owner) if he would make them he said he'd give it a try they gave me the food got home opened them and wow I was impressed they smelled good and looked good but the taste... WAS BOMB!!! Just like back home they were very nice and made this special order for me and it was VERY GOOD!!

Fresh out of the kitchen buffet food, warm at best and very soggy. Wait staff was very friendly but the food was on par with a frozen TV dinner.

Quality place to have lunch in Daleville. This is about one of five or six places that Fort Rucker personnel eat at during the week for lunch. The buffet typically has enchiladas, cheese quesadilla, pork, chicken and taco salad bowls. Come with an appetite but not a delicate tongue.

The staff gets four stars. This place gets one. Right up front the staff is friendly. The booths could use a little love but overall, clean. The salsa has a nice pepper beginning but fades. The flavor is pretty good but could be thicker. Salsa has to have body. Chips could be a little warmer. Amazing what a little flash in the fryer would do. And the nose dive happens. Stay away from the chile relleno. They use white American cheese and it kills it the red sauce is ketchup like. The worst part is this is killing the staff. They know it is not authentic and they want better. This is the owners fault. Quality costs money and once you put that up front it will take faith and effort to bring back the locals. Bottom line, drive to Dothan.

Not very pleased with the menu. If u are white and have no experience with Mexican food this is your place. It seems like a good place for elderly and people watching there salt intake...also, they over changed there beer prices on the ticket form the menu. over charging us. When we asked they shrub there shoulders acting like they didn't understand English. Would not recommend this place!! It sucks!!

Being that I have lived in Southern Cali for a while, I have to admit I have a very biased opinion when it comes to Mexican food, so I am writing this review with one thing in mind... it is a Mexican restaurant in small town Alabama... The food is pretty good, the service is great, and there is a daily lunch buffet for only $6 a person! There is always parking, and for those of you who live/work on base, it is right outside the gate. You can also order from the menu when the buffet is on, which is a nice option if you dont like the look of it. Perfect for a quick lunch that isnt at one of the many surrounding fast food restaurants.

I hate buffets. But I'm also a cheapskate, so since this one was only $5 I went for it. Most of the food was off-putting as (to me) most buffets are. The mole was awesome though. Very flavorful. I went back several times for more. They also had an endless supply of flame-grilled chicken available. At least I want to tell myself it was flame grilled. They had absolutely no tortillas available. Not one. Plenty of pre-formed taco shells, but no supply of warm corn or flour tortillas. Had there been some tortillas I might have bumped this up to a 3.

Price was unbeatable. Me and two other buddies stopped in. We all got the buffet. Great selection and tasted really good. Worth eating there again.

Out of our group we ordered 3 different dishes. Two of them were bland but the carne asado had a good taste. This was our first visit to Mexican restaurant around Rucker so not much to compare against the local fare.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
