Im a truck driver and just happened to see this place on the way though. I love street tacos and this place does it right! The tacos are very tasty and great pricing too. The service has been great all three times I have been there. I always make it a point to stop whenever I'm rolling through.

When it comes to getting tacos from a drive thru, these are hands down the best I've ever had. When it comes to options for dining on Sand Mountain, then you can't really beat this either. They'll even make you vegetarian tacos, which aren't on the menu when you ask. Delicious and very friendly.

This place is a great option when on the road. Homemade chips & salsa (huge basket). Not a ton of flavor in salsa but fresh so that's good with me. I got two tacos: one carnitas (which was awesome). And chicken which was good chicken but not quite spicy enough for my taste. They do bring you two sauces to table so that made up for not enough spice on chicken. My husband got steak tacos and said they were great. My daughter (who is picky) got a chicken taco & liked it. All in all a great option if you are passing through. Nice for kids because you can sit outside. Kind of strange, they don't have guacamole which I love but didn't miss it too much.

The Al Pastor taco are very good, great street tacos. The bean and cheese burrito was also very good. The beans are home made. The service was great.

Great, fresh, authentic Mexican offerings at really reasonable prices. Flavorful, filling, and consistent quality. The owners and staff are _great_, super-friendly and attentive. This is the way to do an independent restaurant!

Lo mejor!!! We were visiting Boaz and came across Speedy Gonzalez: the servings are extremely generous. The tamales are great, authentic as are the chiles rellenos. Next time I plan to try the torta ahogada. Pricing is reasonable, and the outdoor seating is clean and well-maintained. The horchata is fantastico!!! All is made in-house. Well worth it. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. I don't usually say that for most restaurants!!

Best mexican restaurant in Alabama! Very authentic, very cheap, and great tasting! Try the chicken quasadias, steak tacos, chicken soup or steak Tortas! You cannot go wrong with anyone of those. Service is also great whether you dine in or drive through .

OK so because of ratings on Yelp my husband and I visited the drive thru. I tried a Chicken Tamale. Oh my goodness, they were HOMEMADE TAMALES. If you are a fan of tamales like me then this is the best place around. So it was so good, we stopped for dinner on the way back home. My husband tried the Chile Relleno, a little spicer than he was used too, but he liked it. I tried more Tamales, this time 1 Ckn, 1 Pork. I preferred the chicken with the salsa verde - yum. We also had rice/beans. All was good. This is a small place, but they have a drive-thru. Excellent food and even better customer service.

I lived in Southern California for ten years and my reaction upon receiving my plate of carne asada tacos, refried beans and chicken tamale was, "Oh my God, it's REAL Mexican food!" Down to the vinegar-soaked carrot. I loved, loved, loved, this little gem. (The burritos are enormous and I will try one next time...was too much for what I wanted for lunch.) Really delicious, and my friend and I both chowed down to our full content for less than $15 total. What are you waiting for? Speedy's is phenomenal. Eat there now!

Great spot for Lunch! A simple operation done very well. The service was friendly and very helpful. I had 3 tacos- Chicken, Ground Beef and steak. (The server told me they were the best sellers) all 3 were good but the Steak was great!!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
